Charlotte Harbor is one of " Sail " magazines "10 Greatest Places to Sail" and first class boating is available throughout the area. You can also explore waterways by canoe and cycle the many nature trails. Other local activities include diving, jet skiing, boat hire, shopping, numerous restaurants catering for all tastes ! The area is perfect for fishing, both deep sea and coastal with many places offering equipment, boat rental and charter trips.
Other than Port Charlotte Beach, There are many fantastic beaches close including Manasota, Englewood, Don Pedro Island, Stump Pass Beach, Gasparilla Island and Boca Grande
