Romantic Pool House Experience

Entering the property is like stepping from Lubbock to Santa Fee. Pool house is perfect for couples. Lot's of lovely details and a great calm feeling. Donna and Rod are just awesome. Really enjoyed our pool time and the much needed R@R. This lovely experience is definitely on our top ten list now. Can't wait to return.

Perfect staycation oasis

We live in Lubbock and wanted to get away without traveling, so we booked this amazing casita. We had an awesome time relaxing by the pool and resting! We felt like we were in Sante Fe and we loved it! Rod and Donna were more than accommodating and so nice! You will not be disappointed if you book this little oasis.

Nice Hideaway in Lubbock

My wife and I have rented this studio multiple times and it's great everytime. Whenever we goto Lubbock we check to see if this place is available. Homeowner/ property manager is awesome and provides very good communication throughout the stay.

I stayed here while moving my daughter into her dorm room at Tech. Lovely facility and relaxing after a hard day's work! The hosts were so attentive, and made us feel welcome.

Baseball Weekend

Property owners are great. Donna calls before arrival to get an ETA. Everything is ready to go when we're arrive and both stays we've had at this location have been awesome. I would recommend staying st this property.

Beautiful Oasis in the heart of Lubbock!

My husband and I wanted a stay-cation in Lubbock since we live in a small town nearby. This "casita pool house" was just exactly what we were looking for. Donna was a great hostess and was extremely friendly and welcoming when we checked in. It was a hot Texas summer day so we immediately changed and went for a swim in the beautiful pool. The hosts have all the pool floaties, sunscreen and towels you need. The backyard pool area truly was an oasis and didn't even feel like we were in Lubbock. After a dinner out, we enjoyed sitting by the pool after dark with the lights because it was just so peaceful. The casita itself is very charming and tastefully decorated. It was just perfect for the two of us and had everything we needed. Our time away at the "Pool house casita" was just what we needed. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful and cozy! Donna and Rod Palmer were excellent host. They made sure we had everything we needed, followed up. The whole time was an excellent experience! We would definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity. I can’t say enough. Stay here if you can.

Like an oasis. Beautifully kept & accommodating!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this studio w/pool. It was like I was in my own private little paradise. The accommodations were fabulous, and the owners were like family. They were very friendly and astute to any amenities I might have wanted or needed. I would recommend this quiet oasis to anyone and everyone. I will be staying here every year I come to Lubbock to visit family and friends. I give it 5 stars and would give 10 stars if given the choice.

Fantastic Place to Relax!

Very clean, well decorated, peaceful studio full of extra special touches including a super comfy bed! We had everything we needed and would not hesitate to recommend this cottage to anyone. Awesome stay with wonderful hosts!

Amazing property to stay at in Lubbock!

Loved staying here! We felt like we were in a home away from home. This property is exactly how it looks in the pictures which is awesome! The casita has a very cute southwestern theme. Very comfortable bed. It has a kitchen too. There is a pool in the backyard you can use and even a area to grill out. The backyard is gorgeous! The owners are so very nice! They make sure you have everything you need. They even left some snacks and drinks for us! It was very convenient and close to Texas Tech. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Awesome, hidden oasis.

Our stay here was great, Donna and Rod were super host. Very friendly, caring and accommodating. The studio is perfect down to the tiniest detail. Very clean, comfortable and inviting. While sitting out by the pool you would never know you are in the middle of a residential area. Super comfy bed and bedding. By the way we went and purchased the exact sheet set that was on the bed. The only thing that would make this place better is us being able to stay longer. We have a daughter attending Texas Tech and all of our future trips will involve staying here. Thank you Donna and Rod for sharing your lil backyard haven with us.

We had an amazing week here. Donna and Rod are fantastic hosts. We were very surprised that the house is even nicer than the pictures, very roomy and comfortable. What a WONDERFUL escape in Lubbock

The pictures tell no lies. This is a quaint little converted pool house that has so much personality. The place was clean, and comfortable with access to so many things from using the outdoor grill, pool, and lounging around. This little back yard lets you forget that you are in Lubbock because it is secluded and quite in a very nice neighborhood. You can come and go with access to a back gate and never bother the residents or spend time and get to know very pleasant hosts with the interest in making your stay better. They even have a tour bus company in Lubbock you can get connected with. My wife and I spent an entire week there as a working retreat and we had the ability to work throughout the day, visit with friends and the hosts, and access a quiet sanctuary to have some peace. You are only three blocks from a major grocery store and about two miles to other amenities in South Lubbock. We would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone who would consider visiting Lubbock to get away from the crowds of a hotel or bring your own crowd over as it feels like your own. Thanks Donna and Rod for a great week.

The property was beautiful and well maintained.

The property listing does not do justice to the property it was beautiful and Donna and Rod have made a beautiful outdoor setting around the pool with landscaping and comfortable out door furniture. The pool house was clean, well stocked with everything you need for a perfect get away. Donna greeted us at the door on arrival to make sure everything was perfect and to make sure we didn't need anything. Donna and Rod treat you like family and go out of there way to make sure guests are taken care of. When we left Rod and Donna were our friends and we look forward to another visit with them. I would recommend this property and these friends to everybody that wants a stay in a unique house around a pool. We enjoyed the pool with our granddaughter. We used the gas grill to cook out dinner it was clean and well maintained. The location is close to shopping, grocery stores and restaurants. Jim and Laurie from Abilene

Absolutely beautiful home!

This vacation home was absolutely perfect. The pictures online show it exactly how the home is in real life: cozy, clean, and allows the guests access to the pool in the backyard as well as the grill. Even though the couple was living on the property as well, we felt that we still had all of our privacy. The homeowners checked in on us after our first night to make sure that everything went okay with the home. Everything was perfect, but if we had needed help with something, we had easy access to the owners for help. This vacation home was absolutely beautiful, and was unbelievably romantic. My boyfriend and I will definitely be coming back when it's warmer so that we can sit out by the pool and grill up some dinner.

We were so pleasantly surprised at the hospitality of the couple who own this property and the beautiful space we got to stay in. This is by far the best location we have stayed at in our travels. If we are ever in Lubbock again we will definitely be back!

Wonderful!!

We could not have found a better place to stay during our weekend trip to Lubbock. Donna and Rod are amazing hosts! They truly embody the spirit of Lubbock as, "the friendliest city in America". Donna was very responsive before, during and after our stay ensuring everything was perfect for us. The home itself is adorable, clean and very cozy! We especially enjoyed the fire place because we central Texans cannot handle the cold! The bed is super comfortable as well as the pillows. The shower was stocked with quality shampoo and body wash. We did not use the kitchen, but it was fully stocked with dishes and utensils had we decided to use it. We did however eat all the snacks that were left for us, and my husband enjoyed the freshly ground coffee! We have absolutely zero complaints about this home! If we venture out to Lubbock again, we would definitely stay here again!!
