Great house, great location, great hosts! Everything about Inspiration-by-the-Sea is ideal. The house exudes Carmel charm, with ample indoor and outdoor space and modern feel. Perfect for anyone who wants time away. And if you’re looking for activities, it’s an easy walk to town and an even easier walk to either beach - no worries about parking. Looking forward to returning soon!

This property felt like a hidden gem. The house has been tastefully renovated and had everything you could possibly need on vacation. The accommodations were impeccably clean and well cared for. Our kids loved playing in the backyard when we weren’t at the beach, which is just a short and easy walk down the street. I would highly recommend staying here, we already want to come back.

Amazing house with great communication from the host about every detail, clear labeling and instructions, all new kitchen. Love the artistic decor, furniture, etc. short walk to the beach. Impeccable taste and the Aunt Sophie theme was entertaining and instructive. Highly recommended!

The house was beautiful. About 1 &1/2 blocks from the ocean - beautiful walks everyday to the ocean & downtown. The house was also well stocked with everything you may need. Our hosts were very responsive & helpful with dining & other arrangements. A must stay if you are in the area & need 2 bedrooms. Thank you!

I have never had such a wonderful stay at a VRBO property! Daniel has thought of EVERYTHING! I am trying to figure out how I can get back to this property very soon! The quality of the towels, sheets and pillows was excellent. I value things like that. The house is so well appointed and charming. I got ideas for my own home! . The house is perfectly situated in that it is very close to the beach but far enough away from the busy number of people along the main drag of Carmel by The Sea. I will be back!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and impeccably maintained. What impressed us most was how welcoming it felt for families with children. It's rare to find a home with such high-quality finishes and upscale touches—like heated bathroom floors and updated kitchen appliances—that also feels so comfortable and child-friendly. It truly made our stay enjoyable for everyone.

Charming and modernized this was a very comfortable stay in the perfect location. The host was very easy to communicate with and helpful. There were so many thoughtful touches in the home to make the guest comfortable including a coffee corner that is a dream for any coffee lover! I would highly recommend!

The most AMAZING home to enjoy Carmel. It was 20 out of 10 stars. I wish I had more time to enjoy the house and garden. Absolutely stunning interior and exterior. The location was perfect. The communication was superb. I would not stay anywhere else if I get the chance to come back. This is definitely a gem!!

Everything about inspiration by the sea exceeded our expectations! The home is just lovely, very well appointed, comfortable and the location couldn’t be beat! To say this is a first class, comfortable, homey stay is just not enough. From first contact through the end of the stay it was professional, inviting and utterly enjoyable. By far the best we have ever stayed at. Thank you so much, couldn’t recommend it enough, we will be back.

A fabulous experience all around. We booked for a week’s stay. The location is just a few minute walk to the beach in a lovely quiet neighborhood. The house was immaculate and upgraded and the property’s landscaping beautiful and serene. Plenty of room both inside and outside. The furniture was comfortable for relaxing and he provided all the comforts of home plus extras in the fully stocked kitchen ( snacks/coffee) bedrooms and baths. Host Daniel was highly communicative and very responsive to my many queries. He provided hiking, entertainment and restaurant recommendations that were spot on. We highly recommend for anyone who wants a supremely positive experience in Carmel! Looking forward to our next visit!!

My two sons and daughters-in-law and I came to Carmel by the Sea to celebrate my 85th birthday. This beautiful Carmel Point house was perfect for us! We enjoyed the large living space with its plentiful, comfortable seating where we could all gather to chat and read. And we decided to order take-out from our favorite restaurants and share our dinners at the large dining table where we could talk and laugh freely. We sat on the patio in the sun in the large back yard with its trees and flowering plants for our morning coffee. It was also very convenient to walk or drive to every place that makes Carmel special. And Daniel was a perfect host, a great communicator and very attentive! Thanks so much for sharing your lovely place with us! We hope to come again!

Great experience with our 5 night sister celebration in Carmel by the sea! Would highly recommend this home for; fabulous communication with owner/host, location, cleanliness, well equip in every room with detailed notes all around on 'how to' for everything.Be sure to take the very short walk around the corner at sunset, OH MY! Gorgeous! We could HEAR the ocean from the back patio. Landscaping is beautiful at the house and the neighborhood is 'storybook' with quaint well maintained homes, curved streets, Cypress trees, succulent plants. We were pleased with all of the restaurants we tried from recommendation booklet provided in the house, all in Carmel & Big Sur.Big Sur drive is easy and a 'show' all along the beautiful CA Coastline. Pfeiffer Park & Pfeiffer Beach (2 different places) are a must see while down that way. Had a casual birthday lunch and perfect weather to enjoy the view at Nepenthe! An iconic casual restaurant with a 5* view.The house is recently renovated with new Wash/Dryer, new kitchen appliances, fireplace was warm & wonderful, all linens were lush & comfy. We were excited we found this place & super pleased for the duration of the trip. Grab it before someone else does!

I wish there was an option to give this property more than 5 starts as it truly stands outs from everything we have ever rented. The locations perfect - an easy walk to the beach and downtown. The house has been fully renovated with great attention to details and quality throughout. It features beautiful furnishings, high-end appliances, very comfortable beds, and is impeccably clean.The font yard and back yard and designed and maintained to the same high standard. Our host, Daniel, was exceptionally helpful before and thought our stay. We had absolutely wonderful time in Carmel and would highly recommend this property.

We enjoyed having Marcin and their group stay at our house in Carmel recently. Marcin was a good and responsive communicator, followed house rules, kept everything in good shape, and was pleasant throughout. We look forward to hosing them again, sometime soon!
