Virtually all updated and redone unit, new Sams club 600 count sheets, Sealy mattresses, million dollar views on this 80 acre retreat. Escape to this delightful cabin in picturesque Thumb Lake area. Sleeps 4 with 2 new Sealy Mattresses in one bedroom, with a 3/4 bath and a shower stall vs a bathtub. This brilliant retreat features 1 cozy bedroom with 2 new queen beds, a modern bathroom with a refreshing shower, and convenient amenities like a hair dryer and AC. Whether you're relaxing outside, or enjoying the heating on a chilly evening, guests are sure to have a fabulous time here.

You're sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at our place. Full central air and heat, Trustream Wifi from other cabin on property, which may also be available for rent. Outdoor fire ring, picnic tables and shared commercial Char Broil grill with other cabin. Outdoor rocking chairs provided too. Any pics of the public beach area at Thumb Lake, within one mile of Thumb Lake Cabins. Combine this one with the other cabin for a group or family event, host willing to help accommodate larger groups with other space and hosting equipment.

If you love beautiful clean water and beaches, you will love Thumb Lake, bring your water gear, boat, kayak, canoe, etc. Attached pics show the picnic tables/pavilion, and all water shots/pics are at Thumb Lake, within one mile of the cabins. Four-wheeler/recreational trails nearby for fun in the summer and snowmobiling (close to Chandler hill area for snowmobiling and mushrooming).

New Sealy Queen mattresses, including Posturepedic Pro, etc. About 20 minutes to Boyne, Gaylord and Petoskey. Room for parking for boat trailer, toys etc. Lighted outdoor area for safety.

Cabin is charming rustic, yet updated with new HVAC/AC and WIFI, and USB and C style charger outlets, Bluetooth music listening available. Refreshing fresh water well is tasty and cold! More pictures to come, new to the rental market and just getting started. More improvements to come as well, e.g., paint exterior, window repair and replacement.

Beautiful Thumb Lake Public pavilion, public beach and public boat launch just a mile or so down the road.

Second cabin may also be for rent as well, please inquire.
Both cabins are slightly discounted as they are a work in progress and we are new to the rental program. for example, some basic repairs, paint, etc.

Max stay is 7 days, 6 nights or less, please see house rules. This ensures quality turnover and proper cleaning and sanitizing. Reservations beyond this are not allowed, and will be cancelled by owner at no charge to VRBO owner by VRBO.

Perfect for traveling with pets, cabin has everything you could need! Paul was an excellent host and he has a 2nd cabin on the property perfect if traveling with friends or family.

Stayed for a quick getaway and this place was perfect! It was clean and cozy with all the necessities. The lake was beautiful and there is just enough close things to do that makes the up north experience rememberable! Paul is a top noth host with some excellent recommendations for dining too. Will definitely book again for a longer stay!

My husband and I stayed at the Property while we were attending an event at Boyne. The proximity of the property to anytjing we needed was great. The property is beautiful and quiet. The house is quaint and perfect for our need, and the host was very communicative!

Simple little cabin, the little extras made it special. Definitely, dog friendly with a cleanup station in the center of the yard. Mowed dog trail and other trails available. Centrally located between Gaylord and Boyne City.

My husband and two adult sons chose this cabin due to proximity of ice fishing on Thumb Lake. They found it to be very charming and quaint and enjoyed their stay. There were a lot of great places to eat nearby.

Host was super communicative. Super helpful!! Went for a snowmobile trip - the weather didn't quite cooperate. Paul was super helpful in finding alternatives and where to go to get to trails. Left the lights on for us upon arrival after dark, kept the driveway cleared... and a whole bunch of little extras that were great. Thank you for a great stay. We hope to be back!

Thank you for a comfortable and cozy stay at your cabin. We were welcomed with the kitchen light on lighting the way. Fresh new carpet, super clean everything, very comfortable beds. We appreciate the cabin being pet-friendly too. The host was quick to respond to help us with the TV and connecting to the Michigan State football game. He Go Green! The area restaurants were great too. We look forward to future visits. We highly recommend staying here.

Perfect place to get away with everything you could need and more! We came delightfully over-prepared, this place really has everything covered and the thoughtfulness that went into preparing did not go unnoticed. Clear and easy to understand instructions and fast communication whenever needed. The property itself is beautiful, we really enjoyed walking the trail at dusk and watching for shooting stars. Thumb lake public access is right around the corner making trips back to the cabin quick and convenient. Our neightbors were friendly and welcoming which was a great added bonus.We can't wait to be back and see what Paul has planned for the future!

This has to be the cleanest place we have stayed at! Lots of little "extras" that made the stay even more enjoyable: snacks, drinks, beach towels, two large stacks of firewood, a super clean grill with a full propane tank, dog treats, and dog bowls, just to name a few! Communication was always quick and positive. A personal note upon arrival made us feel extra welcomed. Great place with a nostalgic feel (the Montgomery Ward appliances in pristine condition were fun). A mile from a park with a beach and a dog beach. Small farm markets nearby. Whippy Dip with HUGE ice cream (recommend the kiddy size) just down the street, along with a great wineyard/winery. Within 30 minutes of many different towns and activities.

I am not a rustic cabin kind of gal. This cabin was rustic, yet it had nice bedding and linens. the beds were comfortable. It had a Cuisinart coffee maker! Everything seemed new quite honestly. We may be back, and this time bring our dogs!

Want a clean cabin with a great host? Check this out. New linens and more. Not furnished from garage sales or the like. Paul was so helpful and even left us a personal, hand written note welcoming us and giving helpful info. We'll be back to this gem.

Very clean, cozy cabin! Host was very helpful! Kitchen was small but well equipped! If you travel with young kids who never finish a meal and you dont want to waste food, bring a few tupperwares. The outdoor grill is awesome! And the trail on property is great for some early morning walks, for peace and quiet or to walk your dog! The cabin is perfect for dogs! Host has a water and food dish! My adult daughter and I came up with our two dogs to visit family was perfect for sleep, shower and to return to have a comfy home base and not tent. We have already talked about coming up again to stay longer and see more of the area! Wifi was really good so if needed to work/vaca option this would work. VRBO only allows 5 stars but this little gem is a 10! And before we got here had no idea it was 2 miles from the Whippy Dip! A place we have gone to with cousins for a very long time!!

From northern Michigan, and I enjoy the outdoors, watching deer, birds, elk and other wildlife. I enjoy fishing and watersports and time at nice lakes with clean water and sandy beaches.

I enjoy the beautiful views of this property, overlooking the trees, hills and an old pine grove, which is now a no pine grove. I like that the cabin for rent is only 1 mile or so from Thumb Lake.

The property is unique as it is 20 minutes from Petoskey, Boyne or Gaylord. Is 15 minutes from a water park and ski resort, and 15 minutes of the Boyne sky walk sky bridge. The property is also within less than a mile of Thumb Lake, within walking distance.
