The Wild Winds est un paradis pour les amoureux de la nature toute l'annĂ©e. Nous proposons de nombreux sentiers de randonnĂ©e et / ou de vĂ©lo. Profitez de la pĂȘche, du canotage et de la dĂ©tente sur le lac et la plage, Ă  quelques pas de votre chalet rustique. Ou passez du temps dans notre Ă©tang privĂ© (en fait un petit lac) nichĂ© dans les bois, oĂč nous avons installĂ© un quai pour la baignade en eau profonde et le canoĂ«. Ou pour un peu plus d'excitation, les vents sauvages ne sont qu'Ă  7-8 miles du golf de classe mondiale, des magasins, des restaurants et d'autres lacs sportifs. Si vous aimez faire de courtes excursions d'une journĂ©e, vous pouvez aller Ă  Petoskey pour voir le magnifique lac Michigan, ou passer votre journĂ©e sur l'Ăźle Mackinac.

Cette maison en bois rond, «Junior Cabin», dispose de 3 chambres pour 8 à 10 personnes et d'une cheminée!

Ou considérez notre autre location de vacances au Wild Winds: "Honeymoon Cabin" dispose de 4 chambres et dort 8-9 (voir homeaway. Com # 298533).

Les maisons en rondins sont juste sur le lac Wequas, et notre beau lac privé n'est qu'à quelques pas dans les bois.

Les deux maisons sont Ă©quipĂ©es de TV satellite, laveuse, sĂ©cheuse, cuisine complĂšte et 1 salle de bain. Le prix est le mĂȘme pour les maisons en bois rond: le tarif de base est de 645 $ / sem ou 125 $ / nuit, et les dates de pointe sont de 780 $ / sem ou 160 $ / nuit. En juillet et aoĂ»t, nous louons Ă  la semaine (du samedi au samedi). Il y a des frais de nettoyage de 60 $, et les chiens bien Ă©levĂ©s sont autorisĂ©s pour un petit supplĂ©ment.

Vous pensez aux autres saisons? Les vents sauvages sont un paradis hivernal! Les sentiers de motoneige commencent au sommet de notre allée. Faites du ski de fond sur nos 60 acres de sentiers privés, ou visitez les sentiers entretenus du comté à seulement quelques kilomÚtres. Des pistes de ski alpin telles que Treetops ou Boyne Mountain, chacune à seulement une demi-heure environ. Ou tout simplement profiter de la beauté immaculée de nos hectares de pinÚde dans leur glaçage d'hiver!

This cabin is absolutely atrocious. I can't believe how disgusting it was. For a thousand dollars there is no sandy beach, it was completely overgrown and the yard was full of building materials and nails. The cabin itself was horrendously dirty. The pictures they have available for this cabin are nothing like what it is actually like. When you first walk in, the breezeway is full of garbage. The kitchen cabinets had black grime all around the handle, when they actually had handles. Under the sink is full of mold and nasty. The floors hadn't been swept. The bathroom was disgusting, the toilet had pubic hair all over it, the bottom of the bathtub was dirty, they left USED shampoo and body washes. There was still garbage left in trash cans and there were clothes still in a dresser drawer. The one room isn't even fully attached to the rest of the cabin and there's blankets nailed to the ceiling. There is no privacy and the hosts dog wouldn't leave ours alone. Also this place is overrun by spiders. There is no AC so it is disgustingly hot. The pictures they have listed on here are LIES, this listing is absolutely nothing like what it is actually like. The views aren't even that great, the view from the kitchen window is of old trash cars. BUYER BEWARE this place is a health hazard. It looks like they had an extra dilapidated building on their property and decided to try and make money off it without actually doing anything to it.

Rustic for sure

Where to start. For one no keys to the property and i guess its my fault for not reading it has no AC 91 degrees hot as heck. Brought my family of 8 to have a good place to stay and we was all sweating to death pretty embarrassing when you rent it from 800 miles away for the 4th of July weekend and know where else to go. Aints spinders and nats everywhere. Fire pit was full of old ashes construction garbage all around it. The place definitely needs ALOT of work to be done on it. It felt like vrbo let us rent a crack house with no keys to even lock up our valuables. I hot customer service and the guy says it didn't list AC in it but it didn't say it came with 3 fans either. So i give this a 0 unless you like tent camping for that price

When our employees arrived they found that the cabin didn't match the pictures posted online. One of the beds was on an enclosed porch, there were holes in the wall, the ceiling was falling in, and the roads were poorly maintained. When asked for a refund due to these reasons it was declined. Overall, it was not portrayed accurately online.

Great place to stay and enjoy some fishing!!!

Fishing was decent given the weather we had(very windy). Great vibes all around, cabin was nice and spacious, Rokkos brother TJ was a great guy and a big help with any questions.

Our stay at Wild Wind Cabins during our winter snowmobile trip was absolutely perfect. The snow-covered surroundings created a peaceful and picturesque retreat, with easy access to Trail 774, just 5 minutes away. The cabin itself was cozy and well-equipped; one could easily sleep 8 with a warm fireplace that made chilly nights feel extra comfortable. We especially loved the breathtaking views of the snow-covered lake. The location was secluded yet accessible, providing a great balance of privacy and convenience. Whether sitting by the fire or riding nearby snowmobile trails, every moment was special. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a charming winter snowmobiling adventure.

Great secluded getaway

Went snowmobiling for a long weekend. Hosts were great people to deal with. Super close access to trails. If you love the woodsy, outdoors - you'll love this. Overall really good experience!

The fireplace was nice. The washer and dryer worked refrigerator and stove worked. 3 of the 5 beds had mouse droppings between the sheets. The king bed had a spot on the sheet, that washed out when we washed it, so obviously those sheets had not been washed from the previous guests. been w

Relaxing!

Great location. We spent a fun week at this lakeside cabin. We enjoyed the water, the fishing, and the trails. The owner and his family were very nice. The cabin did have a lot of spiders, which our girls didn't like.

Waquas lake stay June 15 to 22, 2024

The cottage was a rustic dwelling that was very peaceful and off the beaten path on a calm and tranquil lake. Plenty of room for five adults Bedrooms, kitchen and living area was large enough for our group. I especially liked the deck facing the lake for reading and relaxing. I would recommend adding some additional screens to the windows that did not have screens for summer ventilation.

Quiet cabin on a small lake

Our boys had a 3 on 3 tournament and they wanted something to do in their down time so they wanted fishing. They had a great time and the property owners were great and very helpful, especially when my son hooked his finger good and needed a decent pair of snips to cut the hook, and even though we woke them up for help- they were so kind. The cabin was older and outdated, not sure if there was a way to lock up the cabin
 The cabin needs thicker window curtains for privacy. It had plenty of room and a grill to use kitchen had sufficient kitchenware to use.. Our kids enjoyed themselves, I would probably stay again if I find myself in Gaylord in the future. Location was great, they had boats to use, kayaks, row boats, and paddle boats.

The property was very quiet and owner was helpful and friendly when arriving. It was kind of weird that the owners house is about 10 feet away from the rental cabin. The outside area/grounds were very messy - old vehicles, sofa, trash, kids toys everywhere. The first night we were there it began to rain during the night and then we heard dripping the roof was leaking in several spots in the master bedroom. We were told just to put bowls under it. it rained for 2 days. We looked outside and noticed the roof was not even shingled/completed and in one of the area that it was leaking had been leaking previously because it had black mold on the ceiling and the ceiling was sagging there. There were a few other spots in the ceiling that were sagging as well in the living area. Kitchen has limited items to use there was not even a can opener. The beds were comfortable and the view from the deck across the lake was very nice. You do have to travel on a dirt road to get to the property.

Right for the price

Rokko was kind and inviting. Briefly showed us around the cabin and property and then provided us privacy the rest of our stay. The Cabin itself was not as private as I was expecting, right next door to property owners with a few other cabins on site. Cabin wasn’t as clean as it could have been, but wasn’t horrible. Cozy enough and beds were comfortable. Handbook asked for us to do our dishes, however, there was no dish soap or sponges provided. Did the best I could with hand soap, but I questioned the cleanliness of the dishes I was using because of this. Property itself was also a bit “messy” with lots of random things lying around. Trails and pond with canoe access was a perk. Peaceful and pretty. Was just right for the price and close to all the outdoor recreation sites we wanted to explore.

convenient location and beautiful area but needs upkeep

We loved Gaylord and the surrounding area and especially the closeness in proximity to other beautiful places. Wild Winds was quiet and there were many birds to watch. We enjoyed fishing and paddle boating and taking our kayaks out on Wequas Lake. The cabin itself was nice and cool and the beds were comfortable. However, the whole place had a smell that was unappealing and we realized that the furniture in the main area had retained some bad smells most likely because of the age of it and a previous pet or smoker. The other problem we faced was that when it rained, the ceiling leaked in the master bedroom and the bathroom. Then we realized that half the roof was in the middle of being replaced. The place needed some repairs for sure as many flying insects kept showing up inside. Also, there was a lot of junk scattered throughout the small housing area, including the remains of the torn off roof, which was just a few feet from the fire pit. We managed to be patient with these inconveniences and still enjoy our time there. The family was kind, but when we mentioned the leaky roof and the plaster which kept dropping on the floor starting the second day, we didn't hear back for several hours. All in all, we wouldn't recommend renting until they have time to clean up, replace the roof and place a few pieces of newer, clean furniture inside.
