My condo at Amelia Landings was very nice. The furnishings were comfortable, and the screened porch was wonderful. The bathrooms and kitchen are a bit dated, but adequate. I was surprised that there was nothing available for food storage (foil, containers, plastic wrap, etc.) and there were no basics such as sugar, salt, cooking oil, etc. I had to purchase everything including cleaning supplies. I would definitely stay again, but come prepared with my own basics.
For the amount paid to rent, we were disappointed in the condition of the unit. The front lock plate was well worn, easy to break in. The master bathroom needed maintenance work on the light switch, and shower. If this were a hotel, it would be rated good/poor, rating 7.
Walking easy to beach and several eating establishments, nice large stack washer & drier, villa has been well used, TV was difficult to use, man came twice to help & still couldn't get bedroom TV to work. DVD there but no remote or hook up even though movies available on shelving, so couldn't watch. WIFI worked very well. No information left in villa as to area map, things you might do. Map from ERA was useless. Nice key pad for entry.
The property was perfect for what I was looking for and the pictures were very accurate. Nice little condo and would stay again if it were not for the property management company. I would encourage the owner to find a new management company. When we arrived the key code was miss printed on our paperwork. Because it was after hours we had to call the emergency number, which NO ONE answered! We were finally able to get in the apartment because my husband figured out that the 5 digit code they gave us was supposed to be a 4 digit code and after about 45 minutes of rearranging the numbers, we figured it out. Called the next day and told the management company what had happened the lady on the phone treated me like I was lying about the code and wanted me to bring the paperwork back in so she could see it for herself. Again I would give the apartment a 5 star rating by itself but unfortunately because of the management company needs to be replaced.
