We take all guest feedback seriously, but in this case it’s important to clarify the full context. This review was submitted after our cleaning team documented significant damage to the flooring throughout the property following the stay. We communicated this promptly and professionally, and while the damage was not denied, the situation escalated once it was reported and a claim was initiated. The claim was subsequently reviewed and approved in our favor, confirming that the damage occurred during the stay. This guest has actually stayed with us twice before, and those 10/10 reviews are visible on our profile, reflecting the level of care and experience we consistently provide. Unfortunately, this negative review was only submitted after the damage was reported, which suggests it may have been written out of frustration rather than as an accurate reflection of the stay itself. We were especially disappointed by this situation given that this was a repeat guest. However, as hosts, we have a responsibility to maintain the property and address any damages so that future guests can continue to enjoy the home in excellent condition. We strive to handle every situation professionally and fairly, and we stand by the actions taken in this case.
