Perfect location for us to attend a family wedding. House was roomy and comfortable with beautiful sunroom, deck and outdoor spaces. Ada was helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend!!
We enjoyed our stay here. The farmhouse had plenty of room for us all and it was in a great location for visiting all the local attractions. The house was very clean and the kids loved the animals!
This farmhouse was perfect for our stay. Our daughter was getting married in East Earl and we were traveling from Kansas. This house had everything we needed and the hosts were so great to work with. I would love to stay here every time we visit our daughter :)
Our weekend trip with the family was made more special with this lovely home. It was filled with history and very comfortable with updated amenities. The scenery of farmland around us was peaceful, along with the animals in the pasture next to the driveway. The kids loved visiting with them and feeding them. We would definitely come back.
The check in process was so easy and convenient, the information was given very clearly. When it came to the kitchen, everything needed for cooking was available, and extras Thank you for the cookies and coffee bar was great. Our stay was amazing and so relaxing and enjoyable the screen in porch , was so nice to relax on and spend time with family. I would visit this property again, Thank you.
The home provides great space for our extended family. We were in the heart of Amish county and loved hearing the horse and buggies as we sat on the covered porch or bed swing under the tree.
This home was perfect for us and many family members who traveled in for our son's wedding. It was clean, and decorated with class and charm. It was warm and inviting! It was well stocked so we could cook and the extras were very appreciated. We appreciate the easy communication with the host.We highly recommend this property!
Ada was the sweetest host!! And her place was probably the most incredible place we have ever stayed in. I had my bachelorette party in Lancaster and the girls loved how spacious the house was and how much there was to explore! Especially the balcony, gardens, and Jack and Pepper :) If I ever find myself coming back to Lancaster with a large party, I will be sure to ask Ada for availability again. I am happy to recommend her to anyone who asks!
We were 4 adult children with our 91 year old dad, celebrating his birthday. The house was charming, roomy, and more than adequate inside and out. Loved the farm animals, and the countryside. Sunday dadâs grandkids and great grands came to celebrate and they all had a grand time. We certainly hope to come back!
Your property has set a beautiful standard for our future trips. Weâre very hopeful that we can stay again next year! Thank you so much for your kindness, quick responses, and thoughtfulness.
Great location, nice people, house was very clean and beautifully decorated, owner left us eggs, butter and milk, feed for the goats, apples for the horse and donkey, wood for the fire pit. House was so spacious, and kitchen/dinning area was perfect for meals and craft night. Screened porch was perfect for relaxing in the evening and morning coffee. Definitely want to plan another visit.
We enjoyed our stay here. The house is very big and accommodates quite a few people. The best part was feeding the animals! Even my grown up kids had a blast doing this. We'd definitely stay again.
This house was perfect for our large family. The location was close to local attractions, but far enough away to enjoy Amish country and rest. We hope to return again in the future.
We loved the property and the kids loved to feed the animals everyday. They loved waking up to them. Everything was clean, however it would be more pleasurable if they can put in a newer kitchen. The cabinets never stay closed and counter is very old. We eat in so we use it often. Otherwise everything was good.
Old fashion country charm. We enjoyed the old farmhouse and the animals. Listening to the sounds of horses coming down the road. Lots of space for my multi generational family to enjoy. We will definitely visit again. The hosts had an eye for detail from the fresh flowers to the cookies and milk waiting for us. Such a pleasant stay.
Absolutely loved our stay at the Farmhouse. Was perfect place for our family to gather for a day or two. Ada had fresh flowers, cookies, and so many personal touches that made us feel right at home. This old farmhouse had charm with the creaky floors, but updated and stylish as well. Beds, couches, & deck furniture was all so comfy and perfect for relaxing! Thank you Ada! We even had an adventure when the goats got out of the pen and we had the fun of getting them all back to safety! :)
This old farmhouse was clean and comfortable. The outdoor spaces were our favorites. The pallet swing in the shade of the tree makes for a perfect napping spot. The flowers, water feature, fire pit, and tire swing made the outside space perfect! There were enough beds for 7 adults and one child to sleep comfortably. We also had extended family join us for a meal and the kitchen was large enough to accommodate all of us. The owner was helpful when we messaged her.
My sisters and I rented the Old Farmhouse for a long weekend to spend time together with our children and grandchildren. The house was a perfect venue. The home is beautiful, clean and spacious. Upon entering you feel a sense of peacefulness. The owners put a lot of effort into making the home feel warm and welcoming, leaving eggs, milk, butter, cookies, fresh cut flowers in several rooms and necessary toiletries.
Our children and grandchildren loved feeding the horse, donkey and goats the apples and food that was provided. The landscaping and sunset views were spectacular. We especially loved the large kitchen table where we could all gather for meals and to play games.
Our children and grandchildren are already looking forward to returning for another family gathering next year.
I would definitely recommend this property to anyone.
We absolutely LOVED this home! It was old, yet you could tell it had been modernized. That didn't matter to us, however, we loved the personality of the old home. Our favorite was the screened in porch. This is where we spent all of our downtime at! We loved hearing and watching the horse and buggys drive by whether it be morning or afternoon. One day we heard a buggy drive by singing "There's no God like Jehovah." We couldn't help but join in! We also loved watching the horse, donkey and goats while sitting there and the kids absolutely LOVED feeding them everyday with the apples the host left for us. The host even left milk, eggs, butter, and yummy cookies for us upon arrival. The home was very clean and fit our needs for our family of 12 perfectly! We hope to be back to Gap one day and stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Very relaxing and a beautiful home. Porches were amazing. This home accommodated all of us and works great for younger or handicapped. Had all essential things plus added touches here and outdoors there and in the refrigerator. Great place to stay and also enjoyed the outdoors area
The Old Farmhouse was absolutely perfect. The inside space was clean and beautiful, lots of sleeping options, stocked kitchen and bathrooms, and the added touch of the cookies, milk, eggs and butter was very sweet! Ada was extremely communicative and helpful throughout the entire process. The outdoor spaces and location were phenomenal. Beautiful gardens, and the kids absolutely loved the animals - Jack the horse is the sweetest! The location was perfect for what we needed - close to modern conveniences (Wal Mart, CVS, Wawa, Dunkin, McDonalds and more), close to the highway, but also just a 10-15 minute drive from Kitchen Kettle Village and many other shopping experiences unique to the area. Highly recommend this rental for a family gathering, or just a peaceful stay away. Thanks Ada!
Hi. My name is Ada and am managing the website for my sister Mary who owns the property and whose family you may meet. I enjoy traveling and recently have combined two passions travel + nursing. I enjoy staying in unique Airbnb's and I love providing beautiful spaces for people to relax and enjoy family and friends. Most of the time I will probably not meet my guests but generally very responsive to phone calls and texts. If there is anything you need don't hesitate to reach out and call or text! Ada
We love the location of this place. Its on farmland, right around Amish homes, close to tourist attractions. I love going over and sitting on the porch looking at the amazing views and breathing in fresh country air.
Some of the reasons I love this property is that you can get a glimpse of what it would be like to live on a farm. This house was built in the 1800s. When we bought it we did some renovating but still allowed the house to tell its story. We have a horse, donkey, and sheep in the meadow. They love to be hand fed by our guests. we have apples for the horse and feed for the sheep.
