This is an absolutely gorgeous property!!! It was so fun and comfortable. The decor is amazing. We loved the bonus kitty snuggles. Communication is great and we had no issues. Would absolutely recommend to others and stay here again if we return!

I’ll daydream about returning to this very special property for a long time. It was so unique and beautiful. Very clean, well decorated, and well taken care of. It is secluded & quiet, aside from the welcomed noises of the jungle & the roosters :) the host was wonderful and responsive. The resident kitties, Nala & Torte, were so friendly and interactive. They made the stay all the more special. I would return here in a heartbeat & will forever be thankful for our stay here.

Our stay at Christina’s treehouse in Hawaii was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and taken care of. Christina went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. She stayed in touch throughout our trip, checking in via text and providing excellent local recommendations (you have to check out the Paradise Cliffs).

We enjoyed the peace and relaxation here! LOVED the outdoor shower! The host also provided a very helpful list of local things to do. Highly recommend!

Family Treehouse Stay

We loved staying in this house. This property is so charming and really feels like you are in Hawaii. Very well-stocked, clean, and comfortable. Perfect location for my family to explore Hilo, go zip lining, and visit Volcanoes National Park and the black sand beach.

Unique amazing stay!

This lives up to all the pics and description! We had a hard time leaving to venture out for the day, as we just wanted to enjoy the “treehouse”! Highly recommend booking this adorable place and plan to chill for a couple days and just enjoy! Mahalo Christina!

Hi Michael Thank You for the review. Almost every island is remote if your on the country side. You are not going to find nightlife anywhere on Hilo side. We are centrally located 15-20 min from Hilo and 35-40 to Volcanoes National Park, 1 Block to the paradise cliffs. If you love nature, sounds of the frogs, birds, Ocean, waterfalls, Hiking, get away from the hustle and bustle than this Island is for you. Anyone looking to book you will love my place if those categories fit your needs. Thank you Michael for being great to sweet Nala. Mahalo Nui Loa ;)

Perfect getaway

This was the perfect retreat for our Hawaiian getaway! The setting is perfect and quiet, as far as people go. The frogs lull you to sleep at night and the sound of the rain in the forest outside is so relaxing! We will definitely stay here again next time!

Lush tropical haven

The house is spotless and spacious with a lovely lanai looking over the lush tropical garden full of birds. We loved the quirky decor and all of the thoughtful touches such as the Christmas lights and cocktail set. It is very well equipped with everything we needed for cooking and lots of towels.

Beautiful location! Relaxing and family friendly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It is such a beautiful setting. Quiet, comfortable, private, and includes so many great amenities. The sounds of rain and wildlife at night were incredible. Our daughter enjoyed the swings and hammock as well as all the rescue cats frolicking in the gardens. We would return again and recommend it to others!

Beautiful eclectic property

Christine is very communicative and this is a one of a kind property! The cats ate the best and the thoughtfulness of the design is top notch. We loved all of the ideas about where to go and what to do as well. We had to work a little to figure out how to cool down the rooms quickly but that was more us than the property :). You really felt like you got away from it all!

Thanks so much I love my Kitties and we need more cat renters LOL. The remotes on the AC have very fine print and so hard to read. They need bigger letters and bigger remotes. Only 10% of Rentals have AC on this side of the island so we are grateful. We hope you will be back soon. Mahalo Nui Loa ;)

Beautiful paradise

We loved our stay! The lanai was perfect for sitting out and playing games at night. The grounds were beautiful! The walk to the beach cliffs was enjoyable. The location was good for visiting Volcanoes National Park and Hilo. Nala the kitty was an added bonus. Christina was very helpful with lots of suggestions of places to go and see.

Anniversary trip

Location was terrific- walked to ocean cliffs most days. Property is beautifully curated. Lanai is where we spent a lot of time. Small kitchen and steep stairs to the loft were semi-drawbacks but did not detract from the overall scores. My husband keeps asking me to re-book here again :)

Hi Jeanne thank you for the review. Regarding the loft having steep stairs I would have to say that anything labeled "loft' has steep stairs; that is why it is called a "loft". The only good thing about my stairs is they do not go straight up there is a slight curve. We recently added lights so you can see at night. As for the small Kitchen my kitchen is pictured exactly as the listing. It is petite by not as small as a Tiny Home. We have a Full size fridge, Full size, Sink, Full size Stove, 2 counter tops with 2 large cutting boards. We also have a mini fridge to store more space. You were only 2 Adults so you should of had plenty of room. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and we hope you will visit again. Mahalo Nui Loa ;)

Beautiful home!!

The property is so beautiful! My family absolutely loved the house and yard. Easy 20 min drive from many activities, restaurants and grocery stores. Christina was very helpful with suggestions to see in the area and quickly responded to any questions we had. Would absolutely stay again when we visit Hilo area. Mahalo!!

Awesome Treehouse

Our family enjoyed our stay in the "treehouse"! A unique place, very quiet neighborhood close to the ocean. Host is very responsive and helpful, we had a minor plumbing issue and they were on top of it right away. The kids enjoyed playing with the cats. The one downside is there's not much as far as restaurants/stores super close if that's what you're looking for, but overall we loved it.

Aloha Thank you for the review. We are centrally located as mentioned in the listing. Pahoa Town is about 15 min and Hilo is about 15 min. Up the hill a couple miles is a mini market & Deli or Keauu shopping center There is also a few places that deliver. Please keep in mind that anywhere you stay on island unless downtown Hilo you are not going to find a ton of restaurants. Even in Hilo everything closes early. It’s the island life. Chill Vibes..If nightlife is something you’re looking for I recommend Waikiki in Oahu another island. As far as the plumbing issue goes; we had a drip in the bathroom sink. Very minor fix but took care of it as soon as possible to prevent further issues. Mahalo;)

Breathtaking getaway!

This was an amazing experience at a property that was better than advertised. Exquisite building design, eclectic decor style, and impeccable attention to detail! Plus, the owner was fantastic, with comprehensive and timely communication and support. I would definitely recommend this location for groups of 4 or more friends/family looking for an oasis in Paradise.
