the Mule Sayana Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful quiet surrounds, close to good coffee (Nulana Coffee), and good food (The Wakanda Experience), and if you're a bit more adventurous, the My G Warung has great local food.
The only downside for our stay was that all the original booking info had no mention of the property name(Mule Sayana Villas) or actual address(Jl. Ir. Sutami, Kemenuh, Kec. Sukawati, Kabupaten Gianyar, Bali 80582). with no way to contact the property.
The Expedia listing needs an actual property name. not just "Tranquil breezy rice field villa w/private pool"
Other than that, Highly recommended. Very good for the price.
We did not get any information ahead of our arrivel, had to send a mail, got no reply, had to do an emergency call through Vbro, no reply. Called again, got connected and got some information.
We arrived, got the key went inside. It was an accomodation for 2 persones had one twopersons bed. We were 3 adults. While the booking was made for 3 poeple. They told that we have to pay for extra bed. While we alreday had paid for 3 persones.
After a long telephone conversation between the owner and the receptionist we were offered a dirty foldable bed with big dirty stains on it without bedsheets, pillow or blanket. When we told them that we are talking to vrbo we were asked to leave the room and wait in the lobby.
It was dark, the lobby and the whol place was deserted and the receptionist left us there and went away.
We waited and waited for hours awaiting a solution for the situation.
They offered no other accamodation and we had to find a place for ourselves in the middle of no where.
1-The communication was very bad,
2- the accomodation was not what they had advertised ( nice picture facing the breezy ricefields). The ricefields were at the back of the accomodation. We were facing other appartments and not the ricefields.
Thete were ricefields at the back of the accomodation. If one wanted to enjoy the breezy ricefields one had to sit on the meter broad pavement/ trotoar where the enterances of the oneroom appartments opend to it.
It was a nightmarish expeience.
The rice fields were gorgeous! But, with the rice feilds there were insects. We has several wasp nests around our pool/ patio.
The location is lovely, but not very private. You are in a row of small rooms, each with their own pool outside, but you could easily hear everyone else.
The rooms were clean and comfortable and staff helpful and caring.
The pools were cold and refreshing after a warm day in Ubud.
It was a quick scenic drive on scooter into ubud and you could rent one from the villas.
The breakfast was delicious and brought to our room every morning.
Overall, good stay at a great location.
Thank you so much for having us!
