Amazing home for a relaxing getaway

The Hideaway property is fantastic. My group consisted of 9 adults ages 45-55. The house easily accommodated us and is well appointed. We spent a lot of time outside on the deck and at the fire pit, enjoying the scenic beauty of the lake. We would return with hesitation.

This location was perfect for our family gathering. The property was exceptional. The lake access and dock were amazing along with the sunsets! Thank you for the excellent customer service and information along the way!

Great main house layout and guest house. Property and neighborhood are awesome. Amazing sunsets over the lake since the house faces west. Boat rental was great as well.

Incredible Views

I want to preface this review by saying that I have owned investment properties and rented them out through VRBO and know the challenges of keeping everything perfect for guests upon their arrival. With that said, this property is very nice with the back yard and guest house being the stars. It is located in a cove that is very private and hardly any boat traffic. The back deck is great in the evening, but the sun can be challenging during the summer months as it faces West and gets pretty hot. The dock definitely needs some TLC, but was a great place to be during the day floating on rafts and just hanging out. Bring your own lounge chairs though for the dock as it doesn't come with any. The house was well equipped with everything you would need. I will say we had an issue with a mattress that the management company resolved for us quickly. And the cleaning crew could have done a better job cleaning one of the shower drains as well. One thing to be aware of is that the first bedroom on the right does NOT have a bathroom door. Maybe their working on getting one, but if you like your privacy then do not choose this bedroom. The water pressure and the A/C worked great. The guest house is so nice and whoever ends up in that is going to be pretty stoked! The management company for this property was fantastic! Any issues we had during our stay, they resolved them very quickly! A great place to stay and we would rent it again.

Beautiful views, fully stocked kitchen, well kept property

Beautiful hone and just as beautiful guest house. The views are amazing. Very quiet area. Fully stocked kitchen. The property management company was very responsive, even on a Saturday night! We will definitely come back here. This is pet friendly. Our senior boxer loved it!

We had a girls weekend at this fabulous home. The location on the water was peaceful and private. Just a short 10 minute drive to grocery store and dining. The house was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay.

Perfect Place For Family Weekend

We had a great time! If you are looking for a great house that has lots of capacity, is clean, and has a great open space for everyone to hang out… this is it! We loved every minute of our trip!

A few bumps in the road

Overall, the view amazing at this property and the home well appointed. A few things to help improve things: 1. The Dack app wasn't working so I didnt get any essential information for check in. I had to text for all codes and info. 2. The TVs and internet were down the afternoon we checked in,,and a technician came at 9:30pm. These things should be checked prior to someone arriving. 3. The property right next door is under construction and was very loud. Very loud. I would have rented a different lake home based on this and it should have been made clear up front. There is no way that the owners/property mgr didn't know about this as it's a major job. 4. There are 6 doors to this property and all locks were difficult to operate. Several of the doors were unlocked, including the guest house when we checked in. 5. The lighter to light the fire pit was empty.

In 2015, StayLakeNorman started with their first specialty vacation rental home with an "urban contemporary" design theme. The Lake Norman vacation rental market loved this new offering, as the approximately 200 vacation homes in the area at that time were mostly just older lake homes that owners we not using and calling them vacation homes. Most had mismatched furniture, decor, colors and no dedicated style or concise personality. Over the next few years, StayLakeNorman continued to add new homes to the market and the luxury vacation rental standard was pushed up higher again.

StayLakeNorman was born and a "one-stop, sexy-house shop" was in full swing with the best designers and contractors in place to offer what luxury vacation guests wanted and demanded based on market feedback. We implemented management processes from the best and largest companies in the USA and continue to fine-tune the operation. Much was learned and many mistakes made.

Switch forward to today, StayLakeNorman has in their control the strongest performing vacation rental homes on Lake Norman. We also have a boat rental company and concierge services to help complete what luxury guests want in their vacations. Our staff includes Reservationists, Housekeeping Managers, Maintenance folks, Quality Control teams, and third-party housekeepers, private chefs, massage therapists, etc.
