This was our second stay and we once again loved it. Thereâs plenty of space for 2 families. The house is in walking distance to downtown where the parade and fireworks were. We love South Haven so much and canât wait to go back!
The property was as advertised though we were surprised by the large size of the rooms. This gave everyone in our group amble space to spread out. We appreciated that it was close to everything and we could walk to town, the beach, and bike over to start the Kal-Haven trail. Richard was great with communication. We greatly enjoyed our stay!
Great place to stay for our annual guys golf trip! Location was close to everything and the place had everything you need. Was so good weâve already booked it for next year!
This was a great spot for a late fall getaway for a group of friends. The house was very tidy and had everything we needed. The owner was quick to respond to any questions. Would highly recommend.
House was very clean, check-in and check-out was easy, great location to walk to south beach & downtown. Description is accurate & was a wonderful house for a group of friends to stay together
We had our annual MomCo retreat at this house. It was a calm, serene getaway for 7 moms who never take time for themselves. Plenty of space, close to downtown, and a great atmosphere.
This property was the perfect location, walking distance to downtown. Property was clean , comfortable and we would definitely book this property again!
Had a great time enjoying the Ice Festival. The location was perfect to all the activities. House has plenty of room and easy check in and check out! Highly recommend
We love staying at this place! Lots of room to stretch out. The kitchen table is big enough for all of my extended family to gather around Already booked next year.
Family from ages 24-85 stayed for a weekend getaway. Came to see the Tulips in Holland, but also walked in downtown Saugatuck, downtown South Haven and drove down to Rocky gap beach to search for beach glass. It was great home base to explore.
House was clean with all the comforts of home!
I grew up in Southeast Michigan near Ann Arbor and went to school at Michigan State. After a number of years away I returned to live in my family home, an 1873 farmhouse where my great grandfather cleared the land. I have enjoyed the updates and remodeling that comes with the vintage of the house, but mostly appreciate the park-like setting in the area.
I have enjoyed many trips to the Lake Michigan beaches and enjoyed the serenity of the water, dunes and breezes. The ability to observe the sunsets over the water with feet in the sand and to hear waves come ashore is an especially relaxing moment. To do so in an area which is notable for blueberries and close to other great shore communities a short drive away was particularly appealing to me. I hope you will come to appreciate this environment, as well! There are seasonal events and activities to enjoy from festivals for film and blueberry lovers, as well as year-round benefits of hiking and biking.
The proximity to the beach and lighthouse was an attraction to the area, and this house offered a great open floor-plan which will allow people to stay engaged and appreciate time together. A bicycle store is around the corner if you wish to rent bikes for a trip around town or down the Kal Haven trail. There are unique shops in South Haven and a short drive takes you to the Saugatuck community for even more shopping with a creative, artistic emphasis.
