Imaginez-vous vous réveiller avec un café du Costa Rica fraîchement préparé et respirer un air pur tout en admirant la vue sur les montagnes pittoresques. Ensuite, vous passerez l'après-midi à vous détendre dans une piscine à débordement privée et chauffée à l'énergie solaire. Cela ressemble au paradis? C'est parce que c'est.

Cette villa privée et sécurisée est située dans un quartier sûr, calme et paisible et est entourée d’un paysage et de jardins immaculés. La villa présente un décor d'inspiration européenne et des baies vitrées. Profitez d'une tranche de pura vida.

À votre arrivée, nous fournissons un petit-déjeuner gratuit comprenant des fruits, du café, du lait, du sucre, du pain, du beurre et du fromage.

La chambre principale donne sur le jardin et est équipée d'une télévision de 60 pouces, d'un lit queen size confortable et d'une salle de bain privée complète (baignoire et douche séparée).

La chambre junior dispose d'une télévision de 102 cm et d'un lit queen-size. La troisième chambre comprend un bureau / bureau avec un bureau, une chaise et des étagères.

La deuxième salle de bain a une douche et une coiffeuse.

Les téléviseurs ont accès à 60 stations. WiFi dans toute la maison.

La cuisine à concept ouvert se trouve sous un haut plafond créant une sensation ouverte et aérée. Il est entièrement équipé - lave-vaisselle, plaque de cuisson, micro-ondes, four grille-pain, réfrigérateur et évier complet.

De la salle à manger (qui comprend une table à manger pour six personnes), vous pouvez sortir dans le patio pour prendre un verre. Le patio comprend un ensemble de patio et un barbecue.

Il y a une buanderie sur place.

La villa est très sécurisée, entourée de six caméras de propriété en plein air et les propriétaires habitent à côté.

Il y a de bons restaurants dans le coin et des endroits où vous pouvez aller en taxi (tarif très bon marché). La propriété est à moins de 10 minutes en voiture du centre d'Atenas. Il y a des cours de yoga tous les jours à Atenas et vous pouvez bénéficier de massages privés à domicile sur rendez-vous. Un excellent acupuncteur est également très proche. Les propriétaires sont heureux de vous aider à prendre des dispositions!

My daughter and I flew to Costa Rica for a long weekend to visit my son who is in college in San Jose for the semester. This property was perfect for our little reunion. Plenty of space, beautiful views way up in the hills, and a pool. The owners were very helpful and charming. Liked that the house had a local flavor and not generic like most hotels and many other rentals were. Nice restaurants in town. Was central to our day trips.

Magic Mountain Villa

The property was very beautiful and you could tell a lot of time and love went into the landscaping! If you just want a place to relax and totally enjoy the scenery, this villa is definitely for you! The view was beautiful everyday! We were unsure of the no a/c but being on the mountainside was a/c enough for March! The owners are next door and though it was a little different from other Vrbos we have stayed in, it was nice to have someone looking out for us in a country we had not been to before. I would recommend renting the house and the two extra rooms to have the property entirely to yourselves. I already have friends looking to visit Costa Rica and stay in Atenas in this villa! This was our granddaughters first trip out of the country and they are ready to go back. I would recommend a rental vehicle that has more horsepower than a lawn mower! It is a trek to go up the mountains. I would definitely go back!

Great location for simply relaxing. Thank you hosts for allowing us to check-in after hours. Enjoyed the view even though it will get dark after 5:30 pm. Need to wake up at 5:30 am to enjoy the sunrise.

Unforgettable Experience in a Beautiful Home with Amazing Hosts

This property lives up to (and exceeds) the pictures in the listing. It was an authentic 'Costa Rican" experience. Atenas had some great restaurants and the home was emaculate. Everything was very clean, well stocked, and the owners were very attentive to every need and went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

Incredible views and wonderful hosts!

Great location in the mountains with awesome views of the valley and San Jose (especially at night). Truly, the story is true about Atenas having the best climate. The hosts, Guida and John were the best. They made sure we had everything we needed, actually they went above and beyond. We will definitely be back!

Our first trip to Costa Rica did not disappoint. This property we called home for 8 days. Comfort and style this home had both with incredible views that were always changing. Spectacular Views!

I've been to Costa Rica a few times and I can say, without a doubt, that this was by far the best experience I've ever had. Dealing with Guida and John was such a breath of fresh air as they have everything set up for you upon arrival and made us feel right at home. The property is absolutely stunning and has everything you need. The ever changing views are spectacular! We can't wait to come back and visit! My job happened to get very busy right when arrived so I worked the whole time. Internet was good enough for a video chat & email. Kitchen was sufficient to cook and the view was amazing. Good hosts, nice people, wish I spent more time there.

Best Costa Rica Stay!

We stayed with Guida and John for a week. It was 4 of us. We really enjoyed the house and the views are spectacular. Both Guida and John and the most wonderful hosts. They live on the property, in the house that is pretty much adjacent to the rental and they are extremely attentive, easy to chat with, and very kind. We could not ask for better hosts. We would absolutely recommend you book your stay with them. You will not regret it.

Beautiful home in the hills with fabulous views

Fantastic property with incredible views. Home and surrounding property were pristine. Peaceful, quiet setting in the hills with a wide vista overlooking the valley. Gracious hosts John and Guida are nearby and welcomed us with a lovely note & bottle of wine. Really enjoyed their sweet dog Leika as well. Used a private driver for our excursions and always loved returning to this paradise at the end of the day. So grateful for the experience and their hospitality. We would definitely return!

Breathtaking views!!!

Wonderful property and the views: WOW! Conveniently close to town but far enough you don’t get traffic noise! The whole house is lovely and well maintained! The pool was a tiny chilly as there is a good breeze being up so high, however we still enjoyed it! Our hosts were very helpful with recommendations on places to see and eat! So appreciated that! Could’ve stayed another week!!! This area is more ex-pat than it is touristy, which we really enjoyed. We LOVE the people of Costa Rica- and the slow lifestyle is something we could deftget used to!!! Great vacation!!!

The property and the view from the property was breathtaking and did not disappoint! Our stay at this property was nothing short of welcoming and glorious! The morning sun to the evening/night clouds were amazingly gorgeous! The clouds that continually changed the landscape was nothing like we've ever experienced! Guida and John were great! We experienced some minor miscommunications, but, were able to move past them! Overall, we were satisfied our stay at this property. Highly recommend a stay at this magnificent property!

Beautiful property with stunning views

We fall in love with the mountain where the property is located. The house is secluded and feels very safe. It has stunning views day and night! My husband and I enjoyed so much drinking our cups of coffee in the morning. John and Guida are wonderful hosts and were available to guide us during our stay in regards to tours and places to visit. Costa Rica is a beautiful Country and for sure we will return and even consider the possibility of retiring in this Country. Book your stay you won’t regret it! Amazing Views

John and Guida hosted us on short notice after our previous vrbo reservation was not as advertised. They are the most amazing and accommodating hosts and as a bonus you get to visit with Laika (very friendly German shepherd). Their home is on the same property so if anything is needed they are right there. The views are absolutely breathtaking and you even get the added bonus of cows, they have a path just below the house to go from field to field. The views are visible from most rooms in the house as well, which is furnished perfectly with all the amenities you would need. John and Guida really do treat you like family and we will definitely be visiting again!

Charming and viw to die for!

Stayed here 4 nights in November with 2 friends. We loved the property and views so much we really didn't want to do much except hang there using the pool, watching the cows, and reading our books. The home has so many beautiful touches, many brought from Portugal by the owner as well as photos from her well known photographer husband! We were so warmly welcomed by Guida and John, a welcome basket on arrival and sharing a wonderful conversation our last night. I hope to see them again next year when I return! We can't say enough about how special our stay was. Way beyond any expectations we might have had prior to arriving to Atenas for the first time. Both John and Guida are extraordinary individuals and probably one of the nicest couples you will ever meet. It was such a pleasure to stay at their fabulous property. The views are breathtaking and design of the house is simply devine. Personal touches everywhere. We didn't want to leave , but we already know we certainly will be back! Breathtaking Views in Beutiful Atenas

The view is one of the most beautiful you will find in all of Costa Rica. However, the descriptions are very misleading. The host's house is literally footsteps away. The pool is shared and felt as if we had no privacy. We didnt use the pool much for that reason. On multiple days we were awakended by drills and loud noises. The washroom was not available for use. They did the laundry for you, which is nice but we had to leave home with wet clothes in our suitcase because we couldnt dry them. John and Guida are very sweet people, however we were not satisfied. The communication was very poor also. If it wasnt for the view, the rating would have been lower. The location is great also. We felt very safe. Lots of great local restaraunts and markets. I love the city of Atenas and will definatly be back. Unfortunately, not to this property.

Amazing view

We loved this place! Everything is exactly as advertised. The views were unbelievable. Guida and John were amazing hosts-they treated us like family. Even my teenagers loved them. Anything we needed they were there to help and the house was very well stocked-they even arranged for a chef's dinner the first night we stayed which was so yummy and a first time experience for us and the kids. The farm animals on the hill were a treat and the sparkling city lights at night were amazing. Our kids really enjoyed the pool. We got to visit la paz waterfall gardens which is a must see and went to el Toledo coffee tour which was great. And other than that we just enjoyed ourselves hanging out at the house and spending time together as a family. It was nice being able to feel like we are at home watching Netflix on the big screen, etc. And the temperature was amazing inside and outside.

Beautiful mountain home

Our stay was nearly perfect. Beautiful views, very nice hosts. The day we left for Costa Rica I received a message that the hosts could not let us in to the home after our late arrival. We had to pay additional money we had not planned to on the day of our travel to stay somewhere else near the airport. Most places I have stayed at through VRBO have entry that does not require a person to let you in, they just have a keypad or lockbox. Be aware that you cannot arrive late because the hosts have to let you in. We were very understanding and they were very apologetic but we were hoping the hosts would refund one day of our stay because we did not actually get to stay the first night.

A Piece of Paradise

We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay at this amazingly beautiful, breathtaking piece of paradise. The Villa itself is lovely, spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The mountain view is absolutely stunning and there is a lovely covered yet open outside deck to sit, watch and listen to the exquisite nature that surrounds you. The temperature with the elevation makes life very comfortable here, as air conditioning was not needed at all while we were there. The air is so fresh. There are lounge chairs with large, sturdy umbrellas to sit by the pool. The pool itself is gorgeous, well -kept and elegantly lit in the evening. Guida and John are exceptional hosts, kind and helpful in every way! And their suggestions for nearby restaurants were the best! Make sure to try Monsoon! Guida helped to arrange for massage by the pool which was wonderful and highly recommended! We so enjoyed Laika as well, their very sweet German Shephard. There's so much attention to detail that Guida and John provide in their Villa which add to the feeling that you are well cared for while you are here. We will love to return here again one day soon. Thank you for a great vacation!
