Looking for a relaxing space to vacation? Harkers Island is the place for you! Harkers Island is a small, ânon commercial businessâ Island. There are no high-rise condos, no shopping malls and no traffic lights. Its is a peaceful, family friendly community that has the most beautiful, unspoiled scenery nature has to offer!
The space
PERFECT FOR FAMILY GATHERINGS! This newly constructed home is located steps from the water and private community beach. There are breath taking views of sunrise, sunset, a galaxy of stars (unspoiled by city lights), the lighthouse and Core sound! The main floor boasts a large covered porch with amazing water views. The home is open concept providing great spaces to gather. The oversized, covered deck that runs the entire length of the main floor is sure to become your favorite place to relax! The kitchen is stocked with quality pots, pans, oils and spices for those who wish to prepare meals. There is plenty of prep space as well as dining space. In addition to many gathering spaces, the main floor also has the master suite (with king sized bed/mounted flatscreen) as well as a bunk room (2 twin beds) and half bath.
On the top floor you will find 2 additional bedrooms (queen beds/mounted flatscreen in each) a full bath with double vanity and a game room with foosball table and flat screen tv.
This beautiful home is located right across the street from the private community beach boardwalk. With chairs, towels, kayaks and beach toys provided - your beach vacation couldnât get any easier!

Quiet Hours after 10pm. Please respect our neighborhood and be âgood neighborsâ.
NO PARTIES OR EVENTS that exceed the number of guests renting the property. The maximum occupancy is 8 people.
Park only in the driveway - NO STREET PARKING. We have twin driveways and you will have access to a single car garage. There is adequate space for 4/5 large vehicles.
Boats/Trailers: considered on case by case basis
Our home is absolutely a smoke free home. There will be no smoking inside the home, on the decks, in the garage or anywhere else on the property. *This includes the yard
NO PETS: because health/safety concerns exist for the owner who lives in the property for a significant portion of the year, guests pets are not permitted anywhere on the property. If you intend to bring pets of any sort, service or other please let us help you find an alternate property that will better accommodate your needs. This property is owner occupied and pets present a health and safety hazzard. Violation of the NO PETS rule will terminate your rental agreement immediately without refund.
Due to the high humidity levels and corrosive salt content in the air, please keep windows and doors and garage doors closed.
Please use the board walk to the neighborhood beach. The other properties are privately owned and should be respected as such.
**Failure to comply with house rules will result in immediate cancellation of your reservation without refund.

Our neighborhood is small, quiet and very âlocalâ. From the small shrimp boat marina as you cross the bridge to the locally owned butcher/grocer/hardware store, you get a sense of âcommunityâ here.
Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?
Though our property is second row, it has a beautiful, unobstructed view of the water. This view can be enjoyed from inside the home or from the large, covered front porch. The property also sits directly across from the boardwalk to the peaceful, private neighborhood beach.
