The Teen Suite is located above the detached garage across the driveway. It's climate controlled and accessed via interior garage stairs. Bathroom facilities are located in the main house.
The lower-level bunk house has its own exterior access to the lawn in addition to interior access.
All doors have locks.

Hi, I’m Kurt—originally from Chicago and now proud to call Valparaiso home. I’ve always loved hosting and bringing people together, which is what inspired me to restore this historic lakefront property. Outside of hosting, I enjoy time on the water, a good cocktail and working on hands-on projects around the house. Sharing this space with others and seeing the memories guests create here is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

As someone who values both connection and solitude, this property spoke to me the first time I saw it. Nestled in the heart of Northwest Indiana, yet just an hour from Chicago, it’s a place where you can slow down, gather with loved ones, and enjoy the simple magic of being near the water. I’ve poured my heart into restoring this former hotel, and I’m honored to share it with guests who appreciate meaningful spaces as much as I do.
