Your family will enjoy this centrally-located home within a mile of downtown and the new Journeyman Distillery, close to VU, and 20 minutes from the beaches of Lake Michigan. Our home is perfect for a large family or wedding party, as it has 5 beds and can comfortably sleep up to 10 guests. The home includes stainless steel appliances, and features a ping pong and Foosball table. With two bathrooms featuring double vanities, as well as a half bath, there's room for everyone to get ready. We hope you enjoy your journey to Valpo!

Property was clean and comfortable. Only one surprise in that the website indicated there was also a shower in the half bath which made a total of 3 showers in the house. Turns out there are only 2 showers in the house. We managed but was expecting access to 3 showers. Otherwise, all good. Felt safe in the neighborhood.

Family Visit

Great space for us, daughter and son in law and their kids! Nice to have 2 levels with beds/bathroom on each. Kids loved the ping pong table:)

Great place for a family, clean and a lot of space. Few little quarks-- like thought we did something wrong with the door code but it was just really sticky and had to push really hard to open it. In the upstairs bathroom had to leave the water run forever to get hot...but that wasn't the issue...most building codes have left as hot this was the opposite. So no problem once figured that out. Not real keen on the outside cameras watching you but get owners want to keep it safe. Nitpicking but overall excellent stay.

The house was wonderful. It was spacious and roomy. The two showers was helpful as well. It was very clean and tidy. We really enjoyed the gameroom in the basement too. It’s a very nice addition to the vrbo. Thank you!

Winterfest 2025

The house was clean and well kept. One of the kids kept saying he wanted to live there. If I could complain about anything, it could only be about the bed we chose to sleep in. That being said, we are a little spoiled and love our bed at home. It was just a little soft for our taste. No other complaints about sleeping from anyone else. We would come back if needed and available.

We had a great time at this lovely home. The house was very clean and nicely updated and decorated. The basement area was an added bonus. Kyle was quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend this home!

Kids liked the pong pong. Kitchen and table good size for a group . Beds are new, but too low to the ground. J&J pizza place was amazing.

Family gathering

Inside was nicely decorated. One chair in the living room was sagging when you sat in it. The outside wasn't as nice. Grass needed cut and the weeds needed pulling. There were lots of maggots in the outside garbage can. Grass did get cut while we were there, but not the weeding. This house was not as nice as others we have stayed in.

Sweet and convenient

The open living area and full kitchen was a huge plus for our family group of 9 adults. We loved the big table and made good use of the kitchen for breakfasts and for preparations for an extended family holiday. With 3 couples and 3 singles, it was a bit tight, but it's hard to find a place that has enough bedrooms, and this one is a great value at the right location. Please note that the 3rd bathroom does NOT have a shower. We would stay here again and recommend it for the right size group!

Cute & Close to Town

My family of 5 were in town for our kids’ swim meet. We prefer to stay in Valparaiso for all the great dining options. Kyle, the owner is attentive and quick to answer any questions or concerns. Home was stocked with all the basic essentials and was quite comfortable for our stay.

Excellent Family Gathering Home

The house is lovely! Perfect for our family meet-up. The kids loved the basement. The table and kitchen made it easy for family meals. Walking distance to charming downtown Valpo. Kyle was a pleasure to work with, responded quickly to questions! Will definitely be back!

Everything we needed!

The house was perfect for a group of 5. Had everything we needed. The host answered all of our questions and was very accommodating. Location was near downtown with all the restaurants and shops, but still quiet. Couldn't have asked for much more!

A lovely home for an expanding family

We were in town for Thanksgiving visiting family. This home was a perfect place for my immediate family to be able to spread out as we (our wives and children) no longer fit in our parents' home.
