Welcome to Casa Moonbeam situated on 7 private acres with amazing ocean and mountain views.  The property sleeps up to 7. The main house has a maximum sleeping capacity of 7 (including a sleep sofa in the living room).

This open-floor-plan house is 1900 sq feet, new, gated home with a full kitchen, MBR (queen), ensuite bathroom with an outdoor shower, two guest bedrooms (one queen and two twins (or a KING bed; your preference), guest bath, and full sofa bed in the living room. All rooms open to the deck that overlooks an amazing ocean and valley view, and INFINITY-POOL. The master bedroom and ensuite bathroom, with an outdoor shower, are very private and separate from the other two bedrooms.  Enjoy your meals on the patio overlooking the ocean or have drinks at the bar in the rancho.  Casa Moonbeam is a fabulous location to relax, enjoy friends and, explore.  

  There is a beautiful INFINITY-EDGE POOL with spectacular views, a rancho with a bar counter and stools along the perimeter and, a high-top table.  The new grill offers delicious BBQ of locally caught fish (same day) and amazing local beef.   On the shady side of the house, there is a private YOGA deck.  Minutes drive to OCEAN and SURFING, Manuel Antonio National Park, waterfalls, and more!

The perfect location!

In the main house, all bedrooms have AC and the house is supported by solar, so you're never in the dark! There is a full, well-equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer, plus a clothes line, a TV/reading nook, and lots of games to play when you're ready to unwind.  
The property is super private and hosts a rustic casita/office that sleeps 2-3 (queen bed and sleep sofa) and, a full kitchen and bath. It can be used as overflow or as office space, with spectacular views and privacy.  Ask about this added feature!

Beautiful, well appointed house. They had everything you would need. The views were amazing, I loved drinking my coffee in the morning watching the sun rise. Our kids loved the pool. I would come back in a heartbeat!

It was a great place to spend 3 days with my family. The view is stunning. Pool is great. The house is well maintained.The only issue is the drive from Hwy 34 to the house. It is gravel road and in some locations with high grade. You must have a 4X4 vehicle. Driving at night was not fun. However, after driving couple of times, I got used to it.Karliana from Concierge Service was very helpful throughout our stay. She helped us book couple of tours, recommended nice restaurants and beach.I strongly recommend to stay here if you can take that 2.5 km of driving.

I would have given this 5 stars but VRBO search for homes close to Quepos listed this property. This home is not a "10 minute walk to the marina". This home and what the owners offer (infinity pool, washer/dryer, outdoor kitchen area, fully stocked kitchen, linens, safes, covered parking, and much more) is FIVE stars but it is a 20 minute drive into Quepos. You MUST have 4 wheel drive to get to this property and the road off of Hwy 34 is not paved and the turns on the mountain are not marked. The property is located in the Hills of Portalon it is truly gorgeous, secure, and private. But if you plan to fish then expect to get up at 5 am and take the 8 min bumpy road to get to the main highway for another 20 minutes to Quepos. Would we stay again? Not if we plan to fish most of the stay. But if you are a family and want a safe leisure vacation it would be great. Owners even have a pack and play in the laundry room along with coolers. The photos are accurate, just not the stated close proximately that VRBO lists when you search near Quepos. Contacts were extremely helpful and answered our calls when we got lost on arrival (we have international calling plan) otherwise they ask that you use the What's App application to communicate. Wifi is great but smart TV would never mirror or connect using Amazon Prime nor Netflix so if you have kids, then bring your iPad or lab top and use Wifi on your own device. Could be Cost Rica in general. 3G network.

Thank you, Diana for your review. We appreciate you pointing out the incorrect location of the property. We have since corrected the location with support from VRBO. The map now shows our correct location, up a small mountain road, about a 20-25 minute drive from the Quepos marina. We are very happy that you enjoyed your stay and the house.

Everything was amazing the views the clean towels and the pool was fantastic the A/C works perfectly, maybe a bit too well… my only gripe with this is that the side room that is included in the listing had 5 dead birds on the ground and when I had told the property management in the WhatsApp chat they had said that “the birds can’t see the windows and they crash and they die” which makes perfect sense, right? But all the windows were completely barred off. It was a bit creepy and I’m not sure how they got into the room. When I told them the bird were in the inside of the room I never got a response back. A simple sweep of the birds would have sufficed but it kind of creeped me out. Did they come though the shingles??Needless to say we didn’t end up sleeping in that room. However The location is convenient you’re about 30 minutes away from Quepos and Uvita and it’s about a 12 minute drive down the hill. The hill is very steep at some points and you need a 4x4 car, inexperienced drivers will struggle getting to the place. The roads are rocky, bumpy and uneven but other than that the location is convenient in what we wanted to do and the house it’s self is very peaceful and quiet. Overall it was a amazing stay.
