Above our expectations!

We spent a week at Casa Fantastica and loved it! I think the actual house was even better than the photos. It is set up so well for a large group- that we did not feel crowded at all with 17 people. It was a true vacation..made even better with Chef Hairo. I would recommend this house to any large group. It was truly relaxing.

Family of 17 reunion

We had a tremendous week at Casa Fantastica! The house was perfect. The rooms with king beds and en suite showers were everything we hoped for. Comfortable, spacious, very cool and nicely appointed. Margarie and the cleaning crew were great and very attentive to our needs. Chef Junior and Janet were the highlight. The food and its presentation was simply spectacular. Perfect meals every day and night! The Spa services were thoroughly enjoyed by all our guests. The media room was great for a couple of showings. And then there’s the view - breathtaking! A very memorable week.

Beyond Expectations

Friends booked this house for a very special occasion. We were very skeptical because it could not possibly live up to the on-line photographs. It turned out the photographs do not begin to do the house justice. The entire experience was first class. The staff as well as the ancillary crew serving the clients were all five star and cannot get enough praise for their thoughtfulness and attentiveness. Thanks again and we hope to make it back there some day.

Lovely Wedding Venue

My son and new daughter-in-law chose Costa Rica and the beautiful Casa Fantastica as the venue for their wedding and we've just returned. The villa is lovely, and very well maintained. It is rather large (ten bedrooms I think) so lots of room to relax, no matter the size of your party. The housekeeping services provided were excellent, really great service. All of the bedrooms were air conditioned and that was a welcome relief from the humidity. Though the common rooms are not air conditioned, there are numerous large ceiling fans that really keep the air moving as well as sliding glass walls that provide cross breezes. Chef Choco and his staff kept us well fed - even when the monkeys snuck in and stole our bananas! I would definitely recommend this property for large groups that enjoy the beautiful Costa Rican Pacific views!

Thanks for your nice review! All of the staff at Escape Villas' Casa Fantastica really appreciate it! Glad to hear your group was able to see lots of wildlife. Gotta be careful of those crafty monkeys. They can be so adorable and then they steal all your fruit! Thanks again for staying with us! See you soon! Gracias

Casa Fantastica IS Fantastic

We had an amazing week at Casa Fantastica with our friends and family group of 26. The house is very spacious and spread out, so we were all very comfortable. Chef Junior, Janet, and Sammi made us such delicious meals and worked hard to ensure we had a relaxing, wonderful vacation. Valerie, the Concierge, helped us schedule our excursions, and was great with responding to any questions that arose before our trip. We were wowed by all of the animals that were easily seen from our pool that overlooked the jungle and the ocean…we saw several different types of monkeys, a sloth, a toucan, beautiful macaws and many other birds. We even had monkeys entertaining us with their antics a few times. Majorie and her girls keep the entire place clean and made sure we always had what we needed. We made great memories this week! Casa Fantastica and our new friends will always have a special place in our hearts.

Perfect

What a wonderful trip. Everything was in place for us just as arranged. Ricky was on it at every request. The cleaning crew were all over it cleaning up after us (as well as the monkeys LOL). All of that was 5 star and then some. But what was by far the best part of the trip was the food. The food was great but Chef Junior and Janeth were absolutely amazing. I asked Junior last Sunday after he had left the name of a sports bar he was telling me about earlier in the day. Not only did he tell me but he arranged a ride for us. Above and beyond! They actually became a good part of our day interacting with us as if we were family. Very professional but personal. Just can't put into words the job they did.

Amazing House and Staff!

We stayed at Casa Fantastica for our family reunion trip that we do every 2 years. We all agreed that this was the best experience of any house we have stayed at! The views and wildlife (monkeys everyday, sloths, Tucans....) were incredible. The house was beautiful and had anything and everything we wanted. We had Estaban as our Chef and he was absolutely amazing. The food everyday was delicious and unique. He was also just such a pleasure to work with and speak with. We really enjoyed our time with him and his wife. He was definitely the best chef we have worked with over the years. Marjorie and her staff was wonderful. They were all so nice and always smiling. They seemed to really enjoy our family as much as we enjoyed them. Marjorie was such a pleasure to speak with and was so amazing at keeping the house clean and in shape. Valarie was so great to work with prior to our arrival and spent the time to answer all of our questions and set up all of our transportation and fun excursions. We would definitely recommend this house!

Outstanding accommodations and service!

I would give my Costa Rican experience six stars if I could. The house was immaculate (and kept that way throughout our stay by Marjorie and the other maid staff) and the service was amazing. Our host Ricky was always available to assist in whatever we needed. Within minutes, he set up activities and arranged for transportation. You couldn’t ask for a better host. He was there when you needed him and he wasn’t there when you didn’t need him (Go Raiders). Our personal chef Choko prepared delicious meals every day. He took our requests in the morning for our dinner meal (this included a traditional American Thanksgiving dinner with turkey and pumpkin pie). My other favorites were the ceviche, petit fillet and of course banana pancakes for breakfast. Upon request, Choko also picked up wine and cocktails for us. Again, the service was amazing. I have no doubt that I will be sitting on the patio of Casa Fantistica in the near future. Taking in that amazing view of the Pacific Ocean and the Manuel Antonio National Park. Te veo pronto Costa Rica.

Casa Fantastica is indeed FANTASTIC!!!

What can I say other than 5 stars all around for this wonderful property! The pictures don’t even begin to show you the beauty of the home along with the surroundings. 20 adults shared the house for 5 nights and everyone raved about the property. Marjorie and the ladies keep meticulously maintained, the communication from start to end was consistent with Fernando and Valerie. Ricky came through on everything that was asked of him as our contact person on the ground. Chef Junior and David were the highlight of the house as the meals were local, delicious and bursting with flavor and Liz was an awesome bartender each day. Needless to say we will be back and are already planning our next vacation to Costa Rica!

Heaven on earth

Casa Fantastica is everything you could possibly want, and more. The house is very well built and offers the most amazing views and accommodations. Positioned on a hill over looking the most epic view of Manuel Antonio and the ocean. The rainforest canopy is at the same level of the pool deck and is teeming with wildlife and dense, gorgeous foliage. Daily visits from the monkeys, toucans and sloths keep you entertained for hours. The bedrooms were all very unique and offered ocean views and also some lower jungle views. All windows have the option of opening up in the house and make you feel like you are sleeping in the jungle. The staff is amazing... Ricky was a great host and was there to help us with whatever we needed. He helped liaison with our various tour groups and even helped us recoup some money that was owed to us. Chef Junior and the kitchen team cooked us meals that rate at a 12 out of 10. The daily meal planning with them was fun and everything turned out absolutely delicious. We asked for locally sourced, healthy meals and that is exactly what they delivered. Tons of fresh seafood and locally sourced produce kept us fueled for activities and relaxed for our down days. The cleaning staff did a great job as well... they moved in quickly and efficiently and kept the house in immaculate condition, even with a bunch a messy dudes. I cannot wait to come back to this amazing sanctuary. It was truly a pleasure to stay here at Casa Fantastica. Thank you Ricky and Junior!! Looking forward to seeing you again.

Family trip of a lifetime! So many great memori

Our group of 19 adults and 5 children had been planning this trip to the Casa Fantastica for over a year with Valerie’s help every step of the way. We greatly appreciate her patience and quick and thoughtful responses to our many many questions. Everything turned out AMazing!! I encourage all large groups to opt for the meal plan! It’s worth every cent. Chef Junior and David were great to work with, professional, flexible and eager to please. The food was awesome! We took advantage of all of the large gathering areas: pool, upstairs bar area, game room, media room. There was ample space for our daily family Olympic competitions. These Olympic Games and the morning visits by the monkeys were among the many highlights of our trip. The house and all master suites are beautiful and clean. The post card views from the infinity pool were breath taking. I highly recommend getting massages. Having the spa rooms on site was a real bonus and everyone was very impressed with their masseuse. The housekeeping staff was friendly. The few minor issues we had were addressed immediately by Ricky ( leaky pipe and bees in bathroom). I have already recommended the Casa Fantastica to several friends.

Love Casa Fantastica!!!

This was our 2nd stay at Casa Fantastica. It is a phenomenal property! We are a family of 18 and the house is perfect for a large group. The bedrooms are super comfortable. Extremely nice baths and bedding. The house flows well. Wonderful furnishings throughout. Pool is awesome and you cannot beat the gorgeous view. Junior is the greatest chef! He can prepare anything you request. Janet was a fabulous mixologist! The cleaning crew did a great job everyday. Ricky is a very attentive host. Minutes to Manuel Antonio park and the beach but really you never want to leave the house. We always have spa services brought in and even a Pilates instructor for a private class. We have visited Costa Rica 7 times and by Far Casa Fantastica is our favorite spot. Truly a Fantastic house with a great staff.

Beautiful!!

Casa Fantastica was amazing. My wife and I chose to celebrate our wedding here, and actually had the wedding on the property. It was magical. During our ceremony, the monkey's even showed up to pay their congratulations. Super cool. You can't beat the view, the pool was the perfect temperature. The selection of rooms was great as well, all of them had their own unique look and feel. Everyone who stayed with us were comfortable. The property itself was very well maintained, clean, and all of the people who worked at the property were extremely nice. Ricky was a great coordinator, he was very kind and responsive. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone and everyone. We had a chef (Chocco) for breakfast and dinner, which I would highly recommend if you have it in your budget. Thank you for exceeding our expectations.

Gorgeous home with an unbelievable view!

Our Ladies Unplugged 2018 trip spent at Casa Fantastica was just that, FANTASTIC! The pictures do not show the true beauty of this home. It is magnificent and the view from the pool is beautiful. Our chefs Marco and Marta provided us with wonderful meals. We love Marco!!! We also want to give a huge thank you to the housekeeping ladies. They took such good care of us.
