The location was misleading we were on the 4th floor corner unit, the highway noise was so loud! Constant all day and night. The first night there we pulled up the coffee table closer to the sofa, a leg of the table fell off on my ankle and bruised it pretty badly. I'm still having issues and have gone to the Dr. twice
This unit was located near the Lionshead area of Vail. While there was a free bus line across the street from the unit, it is possible to walk via the pedestrian bridge to the lifts (which we did). Approximately a 20-30 min walk. It was a clean, well furnished condo with a well-stocked kitchen. Plus, there is a good pizza place about a block away. Overall, I would definitely come back to this location. Could you get a closer place in the village? Absolutely, but not a 3 br for this price. A great value.
Additionally, I would like to comment about how easy it was to work with Vail Realty during the reservation and check-in process. A great group of people and very accommodating. I'll look them up again when I get back to Vail.
Rented condo for 6 day friends ski trip, 6 adults over 55 years old. The unit was acceptable and convenient, we decided to leave suggestions for some low cost TLC and for future renters. When we arrived it was hard to find, nestled behind 2 other buildings, we had to go around to back parking then up a hill/steps or walk through another building and take elevator up 3 flights, take a catwalk and down 1/2 flight. So technically there is an elevator - you still have to lift, very heavy in my case, luggage up at least 1-2 flights of steps. The unit is sparse, barely acceptable linens and furniture. But it was a relatively inexpensive rental. My chief complaint were the postage stamp and too few bed pillows. Decent pillows are what 10 bucks each on amzn. We had a fellow on the pull out but could not find sheets but he slept on the couch cushions instead, the fitted sheets easily pull off the mattress, Here's some few dollar solutions: get some hooks for hanging stuff on the back of doors none anywhere and some resealable plastic containers. Again, cheap add. Hard to store leftovers in pots. Maintenance issues include the end caps on the radiators kept falling off and presenting trip hazards, unsightly dent on the side of the microwave, drawers that don't stay in & low shower heads. All these issues were manageable, and we had liked the bus stop across the parking lot, access to pedestrian bridge and the hot tub clean and working. Great condo off the main Vail property but really accessible on vail bus line. We grilled burgers and chicken over a few nights- that was great. Grill could use basic grill utensils - shouldnât use kitchen spatulas for grill cooking . Pull-out sofa had tons of crumbs. Better cleaning needed. But the unit was mostly clean. Some dishes need rewashing. Kitchen was great and fully utilized. Rooms were perfect for our group. Pizza restaurant in walking distance - right next door. Really fun ski weekend and great property.
