Lydia Cottage sur l'Ă©tang est une location de vacances pittoresque assis sur un Ă©tang avec un cadre magnifique, y compris une crique. Serein et tranquille Ă  tout moment de l'annĂ©e. DĂ©tendez-vous sur 5 acres. Lit king size, cuisine complĂšte avec des ustensiles, laveuse et sĂ©cheuse. grande douche, TV (cĂąble) DVD, livres et jeux. Pont extĂ©rieur comprend 3 rockers, et une table de bistro. Cadre extĂ©rieur trĂšs champĂȘtre avec beaucoup d'arbres et de fleurs qui fleurissent en saison. Beaucoup de place pour faire de l'exercice, lire un livre ou bronzer. La pĂȘche est autorisĂ©e, mais seulement prendre et relĂącher. Vous pouvez Ă©galement entendre le train Dollywood et les feux d'artifice en Ă©tĂ©.
Lydia's Cottage fait partie de Lydia's Land qui est reconnue comme une organisation Habitat through Wildlife Federation. Nous nourrissons notre faune tous les jours. La propriĂ©tĂ© est semi-calme en raison de surveiller les animaux de garde sur la propriĂ©tĂ© pour alerter les clients que d'autres animaux sauvages sont dans la rĂ©gion. Maisons Ă  proximitĂ©. Il y a un petit mini parc avec une balançoire et un Amish Buggy de 100 ans. Lydia's Cottage est Ă©galement partenaire de FB GROUP-Partners qui ont perdu K9 Heroes dans la ligne de feu. Des paniers de bienvenue ou des dĂ©corations sont disponibles pour une somme modique. Des rabais sont disponibles pour les militaires, les policiers et les survivants du cancer du feu et du cancer du sein. S'il vous plaĂźt enquĂȘte sur nos autres cabines situĂ©es Ă  Pigeon Forge qui dorment 4-8. Cette cabine est adaptĂ©e aux animaux de compagnie.

We feel the cleaning crew didn’t really clean at all. I understand that this is a pet friendly place, we travel everywhere with our dog, but this was our first experience where I had to go in and sweep the floors because there was just dog hair/fur everywhere! There’s noway someone cleaned the shower either, because there were a couple piles of hair on the shower floor inside the shower
surely if you cleaned the shower you wouldn’t leave piles of I’m assuming dog hair in the shower. We didn’t like that you could see in and out thru the shade on the door, which is really a pet gate
you felt like there wasn’t privacy. The front door can be a pain to open, it has to be done just right. The place is cute and is in a nice location, short drive to everything, just needs a better cleaning company!

My wife and I along with our puppy stayed a few days at the cottage. The host was extremely nice and the property and area were amazing. Just before sundown, we had deer and a fawn grazing around the pond. And it was nice to just sit on the porch above the pond and watch them. The cottage itself was supplied with all the little extras that you may forget. It was a great experience and we will be returning. The scenery made it one of the best places in the area to stay. We loved it and I think you will too.

To be real honest, I felt like the pictures of the pond and cabin were not up-to-date. The pond is extremely dirty, the grass needed to be mowed and the tiny cabin is cluttered. It could use a much needed make over. The coffee maker needs to be replaced due to the fact it took 45 mins for a pot of coffee and the shower water pressure was low . I picked this cabin so we could spend time fishing since we have a hot tub at home!!! We ended up shopping and hanging out in town more than relaxing at the cabin!!

Pretty place. We enjoyed. Tips: must pull out of door handle while entering door code to unlock & lock door.No (zero) internet connection is correct/but we were ok with it as it is in the description.The place was nice, quiet, recovery place to get away.The donkey & horses were beautiful. Only suggestion we would leave is a faster making coffee machine & shorter/maintenance lawn for easier walking.The hostess was quick to respond on secret to the door trick. We will return if in the area.Thanks for sharing your cottage in the pond.

A quick anniversary getaway

We had a wonderful relaxing stay. We fished right off the porch, watched the ducks, turtles, dragonflies and fireflies while the bullfrogs serenaded us. So peaceful.

A Perfect Peaceful Getaway in the Tennessee Mountains

I couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind. This charming cottage near Dollywood is the perfect peaceful escape. Nestled in the beautiful Tennessee mountains, the setting was serene, quiet, and surrounded by nature, exactly what I needed to recharge.The cottage itself was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully furnished with everything I could possibly need. From the moment I arrived, the host Lydia went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. She was incredibly attentive, kind, and responsive truly the best hospitality I’ve ever experienced.I felt so relaxed and at home that I extended my stay by an extra night and honestly, I still didn’t want to leave! If you’re looking for a relaxing, quiet retreat with a wonderful host, this is the place. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Trip w hiccups but would return

The cabin is extremely cute and the inside was better than the pictures online. Loved the dual headed shower. The hammock was wonderful. Loved getting to hear the wildlife at night and the Dollywood train throughout the day. Had some hiccups with getting our dates changed on our reservation and ended up losing one of our nights because someone else booked one of our nights after it didn’t get straightened out. Hostess did credit for it but when traveling with a disabled person and a dog it’s a real headache to get accommodations elsewhere for one night. Also, the pics are deceiving because it looks like a gentle slope to the cabin but it’s actually kind of steep. We did better with that than expected. There is a rotted board and a soft board that needs replaced. If a chair leg hits the rotted board it’s going thru. Upon check in the door would not unlock. Text and called the landlord and was over an hour before we got a response. Before she responded we were about to give up and head out when I messed with it one more time. I was able to pull on it and it unlocked. She said it must’ve been cold or himid and was neither. If it’s a known issue it should be included in the check in info. I didn’t see it till the very end of the visit but the to do list is on the fridge of what they expect you to do before leaving. Not much at all but would’ve been nice to be aware of it as it was partially covered by something else. Loved the stay we had well enough we would reserve it again.

Just the right amount of getaway

This little cottage on the pond was just what we needed in space, comfort, and setting. The fenced in wraparound deck over the water was a great space for our corgi to explore safely. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean, and Lydia was a great hostess!

Lydia's is perfectly located close to nearby attractions, yet makes you feel like you're far away from the crowds!!

Stay at The Cottage

The property was just as described 
.very cozy . Off the beaten track so quiet and peaceful. Loved the pond and the porch out over it , complete with plenty of rocking chairs and with the wildly life it attracted. Close to attractions like Dollywood (we were able to hear the train whistle from there (especially at night while sitting on porch). Only problem we had was communication with owner. Due to non service on our cell phones we could not communicate with her about directions. And had trouble communicating with her about confirmation. But we really enjoyed cottage once we found it. Thank you Ms Lydia for allowing us to enjoy your property!

Not exactly acxurate in listing

The scenery around the cottage was lovely. We enjoyed sitting on the covered porch overlooking the small pond. The cottage, however, is in need of some TLC. It was basically tidy but needs a deep cleaning. (Rugs ,mold on tile in bathroom, outside furniture and porch with cobwebs) Also, the listing stated a smart tv and wifi. There was no wifi, therefore you can't stream any shows. There is Dish, which is a lot of shopping channels. Cell service is spotty due to the mountains so we didn't have cell service either until we were in the village. The listing stated a washer and dryer. The washer was broken. I brought this up to the host and she was unaware, so plan accordingly. Furniture was sparse- there was no table and chairs to eat at, and the red sitting chairs uncomfortable. All in all we loved the area and will look for a better rental for the price next time.

It's East Tennessee's best kept secret. As a writer, I find this place to be a perfect setting for photographers and writers. Great place to spend your honeymoon or relax all day on the deck. Simply breathtaking in Spring and Fall. I never want to leave, but I have to make it available to you. We speak Spanish and Polish.

Cottage on the Pond is a delightful elegant rustic cottage. One of a kind property for nature lovers and those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Perfect place to write a book or take a sabatical. Honeymooners love it for privacy. Seniors never want to go home. Singles come back because of the convenient location to town. People of Faith enjoy the serenity. And there's never any traffic. Always decorated for the season.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The cottage is part of Lydia's Land which is now recognized as a Habitat for Animals by the Wildlife Federation. The property has 5 acres with a pond and creek. Enjoy the wildlife passing by daily. Birds, ducks, geese, deer, raccoons, rabbits, hedgehogs, possums, horses and donkey. Once in awhile youll see a bear strolling by. You'll just have to come out and see for yourselves. Great back roads and quick access to the city. Decorated for the holidays.
