The Cabin:
This rustic yet comfortable log cabin offers the ideal blend of charm and modern convenience. With 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, it comfortably sleeps 8-12 guests. Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living room and a spacious porch overlooking the river—perfect for morning coffee or evening stargazing.

Outdoors:
Step outside and you're just feet from the waters of the Santa Fe River. Launch a kayak or canoe right from the private dock, float downstream to nearby springs, or simply relax with a good book while soaking in the sounds of birds and flowing water. Our stay was incredible! The home was comfortable, well-kept, and had everything we needed. The host was friendly and responsive, which made the whole process easy and stress-free. Yes and yes.But there were 3 bats flying around in the house, and it would have been nice if the host would have offered a discount.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re very sorry for how unsettling that experience must have been and truly appreciate you letting us know. Once we were made aware, we immediately had the home thoroughly inspected by a licensed roofer and wildlife professional. Their assessment showed that the home itself is fully sealed, and the only likely point of entry was through a window that had been opened. There were no issues found with the roof, attic, or structure. Even so, we completely understand how uncomfortable that situation would have been, and guest peace of mind is very important to us. Since your visit, we’ve taken additional preventative steps and updated our guest information to help avoid anything like this in the future. We appreciate your stay and your feedback, and we wish you all the best in your future travels.

Rustic Comfort on the Santa Fe RiverWe had a fantastic stay at this rustic but incredibly comfortable cabin right on the Santa Fe River. There was plenty of room for our group of 8, and the kids spent most of their time fishing off the dock in the backyard or kayaking along the river. The host provided kayaks, floats, and fishing poles, which made it so easy to jump right into the fun.The kitchen was well-appointed with everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. The location is quiet, serene, and the perfect spot to disconnect and enjoy nature—without having to totally “rough it.” We even lost power one night due to a rainstorm, but the generator kicked on instantly and kept everything running without us having to lift a finger.The host was friendly and responsive, and there were plenty of linens and all the comforts of home. The cabin is also conveniently close to Ginnie Springs and Ichetucknee Springs, making it a great base for exploring the area’s beautiful waterways. Highly recommend for families, friend groups, or anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with easy access to outdoor adventures.

Absolutely Amazing Stay – A Hidden Gem!I can't rave enough about our stay at this beautiful cabin! The house was absolutely stunning, with plenty of space for our family of six. It was clean, well laid out, and not overly cluttered, which made it super easy for everyone to move around comfortably.The owner truly went above and beyond — providing everything from cooking essentials to a basket of snacks, portable fans, and more. We were especially impressed by the thoughtful touches that made the cabin feel like home.And let’s talk about the lake… absolutely breathtaking! The owner graciously provided kayaks and floats — enough for our entire family to enjoy the water together. It was such a peaceful and scenic spot. The neighbors were really kind and as well! The location is great too: only about 20 minutes from stores like Scaff’s and Family Dollar, and close to Ichetucknee Springs, which made for an awesome day trip.If you're on the fence about booking this place — stop thinking and just book it. It was worth every single dime. We’re already planning to make this our annual vacation spot!

Such a beautiful, peaceful little slice of Florida. My family was very comfortable with the living spaces and bedrooms in the spacious log cabin. Exploring the Sante Fe River and relaxing by the fire pit at night were wonderful highlights. Great host! Highly recommend.
