Beautiful view of the ocean

Beautiful views and just a 5 min walk down the hill to the ocean. We’re a family of 3 traveling with our dog. The house is a home away from home and we hope to stay here again.

A tranquil spot with all the creature comforts

My friends and I had a wonderful, relaxing long weekend here. We only wish it could have been longer. We love cooking, and the kitchen was so well-equipped. We spent ample time on the porch reading. We also loved the DVD collection.The beds were very comfortable, and the breeze was delightful. We'll absolutely be back.

Thanks so much for this feedback. Since we are at the house ourselves much of the fall and winter, we know about the smoke detector. We've been trying to think where else we could put this and your review helps us to know that for guests too, it is too sensitive. When we turn the stove fan on before cooking it helps a lot, but it still goes off more than we would like. We'll search for a better location.

Great House!

Amazing Beach Home! 2 families with children, plenty of space and all amenities supplied. Great views and access to the beach. Treasure hunts, sunsets, and beach hikes - Oceanside has it all. This was our 16th trip to the coast and this home is at the top.

It met all my expectations and more.

The deck is so popular with me because there's a perfect view of the ocean. It's a short walk down the road to the beach. The living and kitchen area are open and spacious, lots of natural light, and soundproof throughout. Everything you need for cooking is available plus a lot of other supplies. The lower level offers its own exit, living space and two additional bedrooms. I loved it and will visit again.

the house has a great view of the ocean. We woke up to a foot of snow our first night. the most snow they have had in 40 years. the house was comfortable. we love the view of the ocean. would not recommend for elderly that cant climb stairs. But loved the house.

Fabulous trip to Oceanside

I have been coming to Oceanside for over 20 years and have stayed in a lot of places. This home has one of the most incredible views, is conveniently located to the beach, Roseanns, Arch Inn for hot chocolate, and the Blue Agate for breakfast! Wonderful spacious deck for watching sunsets. I was most impressed by how well appointed the kitchen was. The beds are so comfortable and cozy! I especially like the kitchen island and enjoy having meals that way, but for someone that has a larger group or likes to sit at a table, it is not conducive for that. The owners were very kind and checked on us prior to them leaving for the weekend. It truly made our stay easy, fun, and delightful.

Perfect Oceanside Home

Hi, My husband, two other couples, and family dog spent a May weekend at this fabulous Oceanside home. It more than comfortably accommodated all of us. There are four very comfortable queen bedrooms, so comfortable that all of us had to take a peak at the sheet brand-name! The kitchen is fully equipped. Nice everything, really. You can tell the owners have taken the time to really care for this house which feels more like a first home versus second home. The deck is great and overlooks an unblocked view of the ocean. Super close to the beach, cafe, and restaurant. We had a wonderful time and definitely plan to be back. Eileen Andersen

You make me laugh! The sheets are 600 thread count from Costco! They wrinkle a little but are very comfy, for sure. We surely do hope you will return, Eileen, any time! And we agree, this is so much like our first home that we can't decide if this or Portland is really home. We hope that retirement gives us more time there to have two first homes - can't wait! Mom’s memorial

To start with, when we walked in the front door the view of the ocean took our breath away. Our favorite thing by far was how close it was to the beach, it’s just a short walk to a long sandy beach. We were able to take multiple trips to the beach each day. On the first night we enjoyed a great meal at Roseanne’s Cafe. My moms memorial was held in Tillamook so we spent most of Friday at the memorial and went to the Cheese Factory. We brought some fresh seafood and had a seafood feast that evening at the house. We appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was. We played games in the evenings and watched the sun set. We had a wonderful stay and made some great memories. Thanks!

Charming Home in Oceanside

My husband and I have been vacationing in Oceanside for several summers now. This was our first time at Terri's home, and we will definitely be back next summer! We were with another couple and our dogs and the house was perfectly set up for a small group. There are two bedrooms upstairs and two down (with another living room downstairs too) so we could have separate living spaces in the evenings and come together during the day. The deck had a gorgeous view of the ocean. As Terri mentions in the listing, the home is well equipped with all manner of kitchen supplies and we enjoyed cooking in for all of our meals. We loved walking on the beach - an easy three minute walk from the house, and exploring the tidepools. I would definitely recommend a stay here. Terri was a wonderful host and has a beautiful home!

This home has a beautiful view of the ocean. we woke up to a foot of snow and we never lost power. i would not recommend this home for anyone that can not climb steps. but we had plenty of room and very compfertable. If renting this home during the winter, I would suggest taking your own firewood. We were not expecting all the snow and if the power went out, we would not have been able to get firewood. But it all worked out and we really enjoyed our stay. Terri was wonderful, she check in on us when she learned about the snow. She was very nice and helpful. We will definatly be back!

Fabulous Beach House! Relaxing & Peaceful

My husband and I have rented many homes through VRBO. I'm happy to say this house was another 5 star on our list. I read every review and detail on the posting and all were true. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable, clean, and one of the most important details for me was the high quality linens/comforters. I always look for that. I want to sleep in a bed like I'm used to at home. No disappointments at all! Terri was very helpful & communicated well. Even the reviews about the stairs were accurate. Did not have tiny children in our family but it could be a concern . They are steep. Baby gate is provided though & toddlers may need assistance. The view can't be beat. Gorgeous...:) . If you want a place where there are tons of activities and shops DON'T stay in Oceanside. That is also stated in the posting and it is EXACTLY why I chose it. Quiet neighbors & every time we went to the beach maybe saw 10-15 people at the very most. It was great!! Not far to go for activites though. It is on our list of "keepers". Thank you again Terri & Hal for sharing your lovely home.

Wonderful house!

This was our second stay at this lovely beach house, and we hope to come again. We love the view, the layout of the house, and the fact that it's dog-friendly. We especially like the well-stocked kitchen, the owners' attention to detail, and their concern for their guests. Oceanside is our favorite town on the Oregon Coast, and this house always makes it a wonderful vacation. We hope to keep coming back as long as we're agile enough to navigate the stairs, which might be a drawback for some.

Cozy Beach Location

We loved our stay here! The views from the main living areas are beautiful. The house was clean and well stocked with towels, kitchen utensils, toilet paper, other necessities, and entertainment! It is also a short, convenient walk to the few shops and restaurants in town. I hope we get to come back.

Great house, awesome view!

This house was perfect for our annual "girl's" weekend! This was the 15th year the 4 of us have gotten together. We are all in our early 50s and this house has 4 bedrooms which gave us each our own room. The beds were so comfortable and had the best sheets! The view is very nice and there is a great deck. This house has a very well stocked kitchen and is extremely clean. Just a quick, short walk down the hill and you can explore tunnel beach. There is also 2 restaurants at the bottom of the hill which made it nice to walk to dinner. We will definitely return!

This house was perfect for our girls get away. Well stocked and had everything we could have needed. So comfy and the view of the ocean and beach from the deck was the perfect setting for our morning coffee. Will definitely stay here again!

I Wish I Lived Here

This vacation home was so comfortable that I hated to leave. My favorite activity outside the house was going down to the beach at the lowest tide of the day and exploring Tunnel Beach to the north of the main Oceanside beach. My favorite activity inside the house was listening to the surf and watching the sea and sky from the deck. The location was wonderful: first of all, it was just short 2-minute walk down the hill to public beach access and three restaurants. (The walk back up the hill is challenging; however, it forced me to exercise and it wasn't too long a climb.) Second, the house has a view of the ocean from every part of the deck, the kitchen windows, the living area, and even the hall to the laundry and 1st floor bathroom. And you can hear the sound of the ocean from all rooms in the house provided you choose to open nearby windows. Oceanside is what I think of as a village, so that you have to drive into slightly larger Netarts or a few minutes further into Tillamook to find market and stores. I loved this fact. When we wanted one or two basic food items, we drove quickly to Netart and back. When my family wanted to go shopping, we went to Tillamook. Even though the restaurants aren't open all day and all night like they would be in the city or maybe even in Tillamook, all three served great food: the Blue Agate Cafe, open until 2 p.m.; the Current Cafe (in the Oceanside surf shop), open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Roseanna's Cafe, open from 3 to 8 p.m. Roseanna's is now one of my favorite restaurants ever--and that's in spite of the long waits for a table. We learned to account for the wait when we wanted Roseanna's for dinner. My three kids, ages 8, 13, and 15, loved the big TV in the living room, and they used the TV downstairs too. The washer and dryer were in a convenient location on the main floor (1st floor, not ground floor). The host provided laundry supplies as well--and a fair bit of kitchen pantry supplies--and just asked to be informed if more supplies were needed. By the way, I'm a big fan of Tillamook cheddar. We made a special point to visit Tillamook Cheddar's showcase factory, ice cream shop, and gift shop at the north of Tillamook on Hwy 101. It was full of people--but we got to go back to the village of Oceanside afterward, where we could relax. I would most definitely rent this house again and I hope I get to do so someday!

Incredible Views!

Absolutely love this house, a bit like a tree house that affords all the best ocean views you could have in Oceanside. Nothing was missing, anything we needed we found in the kitchen. Lots of space for our older family members to separate from the youngers. Wonderful beach week, hope to stay again!

Covid get away

This property was just what we needed! Beautiful location, clean, great set up for 2 groups, we could have rooms on separate floors so our littles ones didn’t wake the house up... everything was straight forward and easy! We would recommend this home and company anytime!!
