Oceanside Seaview Retreat

Seaview Cottage Features: 2 bedrooms with queen beds, a bunk room with quadruple bunk beds (4 twin beds), 2 bathrooms, a laundry room, a great room (family room/kitchen/dining nook) and common room downstairs (1537 sq. ft. total). It has a car port with 2 parking spots and one additional parking spot on the street in front. The cottage features easy beach access via a backyard staircase and then a short 3 block walk.

Wonderful ocean views, a beautiful Oregon coast village with unique coastal activities - a perfect place to work from the beach, unwind, or just relax and watch the ocean.

Great spot for a long weekend with family. We really enjoyed watching the whales from the deck and wish we had packed binoculars. Our dog loved the fenced yard and beach.

Family time

The property was beautiful and clean. The views were amazing. The beds and linens were comfortable and the included amenities like coffee pods was a huge plus. The hill to climb back up to the cottage is no joke, especially with little kids and the stairs leading to the beach from the cottage are a little sketchy too. Overall had a lovely stay and look forward to coming back again.

Top Notch Home

Seaview Cottage is a beautiful home with a terrific view. Everything we needed and more was provided. It is clear that lots of thought has gone into making the cottage a 5 Star Plus experience! Fantastic!

Wonderful place

Three nights with my wife, her parents, our six week old baby, and our doodle. Had a great time and plan to return at some point.

We loved our stay! The deck is amazing, the living room comfortable, and it was the perfect walk to the beach for our friends' wedding.

Seaview Cottage really does have a view of the sea

Beautiful house and location. The photos don't do it justice; the view was even better than we expected. Loved that it's walking distance to the beach. And the fenced yard for our dog was one of the reasons we chose the house. A couple of things that might make it even better would be a king bed and a bigger/softer couch. We're average size people and the couch was pretty narrow. Overall, it was a great stay!

Oceanside Seaview Retreat

Likely the best VRBO home we've stayed at. Impressively clean and communication with owner was outstanding. The walk down to the oceanside was easily managed. Those with gait difficulty may find the stairs a bit challenging and the walk back up difficult. However, the oceanside is easily accessible by car and close by. The views from the deck were spectacular and there was plenty of options for seating. The home had everything that you could want. There were only two of us; however, it could very easily accommodate families with children. The bunkroom would be a favorite spot for children with the adjoining family room. We had plans to visit both Seaside and Cannon Beach as well as Lincoln City, Depoe Bay and Newport. This home sits central to these areas and made for an easy 1.5hr drive either North or South.of Oceanside. This home made for an incredible first trip to the Oregon Coast. My thanks to the hosts.

The accommodations, location, really nice kitchen with all you need, and views were great. The only disappointment was the that the furniture in the upstairs living room was not comfortable, especially for our group who were all over 70.

Amazing Views

We absolutely loved the Seaview Cottage. It was the perfect size for our family of 5. It was well stocked, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. The host was extremely responsive, too. The location was perfect and it was just what we wanted for our stay.

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our time at this wonderful location. There is a great view of the beach and an easy walk to enjoy the water. The house was well stocked and was very comfortable for our family of five. Will definitely be coming back!

Our stay at Seaview Cottage was everything we hoped for - spotlessly clean, beautiful ocean view, easy access to the beach, and a well-designed and furnished kitchen. We are already looking forward to returning in the future! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great house for a family

My family (parents, husband, daughter and 2 dogs) had a great stay. Close access to the beach, beautiful view, and very functional home. Although Oceanside itself doesn’t have a lot to do, you’re a short drive to nearby cities. The lighthouse was fantastic! Thank you for a great stay.

Wonderful house!

We had a wonderful stay in this home. We have rented a lot of homes and this was by far our favorite. It was VERY clean! The beds were very comfortable. The beach decorations were beautiful and made the home inviting. The view was incredible and listening to the ocean is so peaceful. We were sad to leave but hope to be able to come back again.

Great Stay

Our family of five and our two dogs enjoyed our stay at the Seaview Cottage. The views are expansive from all common areas and each of the bedrooms. There’s such enjoyment in watching the ever changing skies and ocean. The place is well stocked and thoughtfully organized. We especially enjoyed the gas fireplace “woodstove” which kept us cozy in blustery weather. Seaview Cottage is located on a short dead end road so there is minimal traffic. If the stairs from the backyard prove to be too difficult for any in your party, the beach access is still quick and fairly easy by walking back out to the main highway (Cape Meares Loop) for one block and then cutting back into the quieter streets leading to Oceanside Beach State Park. Easy enough to repeat multiple times daily. We highly recommend Seaview Cottage for a relaxing getaway.

Seaview Cottage is co-owned by two families who have owned a beach house on this lot for over 40 years. The old cabin was removed after a water leak and foundation issue and the new Seaview Cottage was completed in February 2021. Our families are excited to share this new cottage and a deep knowledge of the surrounding area, and activities, unique to Oceanside, Oregon.
