Cottage historique par Holland State Park et le lac Michigan

Ce chalet de plage vintage est situé dans les collines de dunes de sable de la station balnéaire historique d'Ottawa Beach. Des pistes cyclables, des trottoirs et des promenades en bateau entourent ce chalet vous donnant accès au lac Michigan et au lac Macatawa. Descendez la colline et allez au magasin général, montez le mont. Pisgah, ou marchez le long du canal dans le parc national et regardez les bateaux passer. Allez dans l'autre sens et marchez le long de la promenade du haut ou du bas jusqu'à ce que vous arriviez à la plage de sable du lac Michigan. Profitez du soleil et du surf et n'oubliez pas de rester pour au moins l'un de nos magnifiques couchers de soleil.

Veuillez noter qu'il y a 2 places de parking désignées pour ce chalet. La distance de marche du parking au chalet est d'environ 100 pieds. J'ai 2 cartes de stationnement supplémentaires si nécessaire pour un autre parking un peu plus loin.

Lovely cottage near Lake Michigan. We stayed just a couple days, but we had everything we needed. The beach was a short walk and the sunset was gorgeous.

Some things great...some things not so much

The house was cute and the historic details were fun. The location is absolutely amazing, with a short walk to the beach, ice cream, bike paths, and hiking trails. However, saying that the property is air conditioned is a bit of a stretch. The property has window units, not central air. The main first floor unit is undersized for the square feet needing cooling. Upstairs, the main bedroom had a AC in good working order. One bedroom didn't have AC at all, and the third bedroom had an AC, but it did not really keep the room cold at all, even though the unit said it was set at 64. This was really hard on my 73 year old mother in law, and hard on the complainers in our group :). The dishwasher did not work, something to do with the water not flowing through the tube to the machine (we tried a few ways to fix this with no avail).

Great Stay

Great cute place to stay. Historic home. You park in a lot near the home and walk to the house. No street or garage for parking, but the parking is free and included with the rental. Short walk to the beach and other shops on the main street.

Great time!

Was our second stay here. Family of 6, with 4 kids from 10-13. All had a wonderful time. House is perfect, short walk to beach and to general store for ice cream. Will stay again for sure. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time in Holland and the cottage was perfect for our family . The check in process was easy and the house was very clean. We would definitely stay in this home again when we are back in Holland

Amazing Getaway

The house is beautiful and very accommodating for all guests! It is in walking distance from the lake and is a perfect distance. Harriet was great and was very helpful when we had questions. Amazing communication!

Stayed for daughters softball tournament

This cute little cottage was perfect for us! With a short walk to the beach and the beautiful views. Only downside was bringing all of our belongings in and out but we figured it out!

really neat place!

the pictures really tell the story - the outdoor areas, the veranda, the rooms, the decor -- just a really neat fun getaway, right where Lake Mac and Lake Mich meet - what more could anyone ask for! The only negative is being sad to leave and wishing you could stay a little longer!

Sister Reunion

This was a perfect place for my 3 Sisters and myself having a weekend Reunion. It was within walking distance of the Holland Lighthouse and that made it great for one of us who loves Lighthouses. The area had some great restaurants that we enjoyed and the Farmers Market was great fun on Saturday too. Harriet the owner was very easy to reach and get assistance as we needed.

Wonderful little place with charm

I loved this stay and would totally recommend it. The walk to the lake is fabulous. My only hesitation in recommending it was, as described in the great communication from the host, was the parking and wayfinding was pretty tricky since we got in late at night. Providing a precise GPS location would have definitely coming in handy.

Quaint cottage near beach

Location was excellent and was peaceful and quiet. It was a short walk, or drive, to the beach. Everything we needed was there except it would be good to provide shower soap in both bathrooms and not just shampoo.

Vintage Charm

Wonderful location. Very cute vintage but has all the necessities and then some for a wonderful enjoyable stay. Walking distance to favorite ice cream and beach. Was in awe with the vintage artifacts merged with beach theme. Host was very receptive and loved them games and books.
