"Polo Ridge Villa" est une unité récemment rénovée, au sein d'une communauté fermée de 2 villas, 2 appartements, disponible pour la location de vacances à court terme à The Holiday House Villas and Suites. Situé à Holder’s Hill, sur la côte ouest de Platine, de renommée mondiale, à la Barbade, à St. James Parish, la propriété offre un cadre privé intime et est située sur environ 14 000 pieds carrés de terrain. et total d'environ 2500 pieds carrés d'espace de vie, idéal pour se divertir avec terrasse et cour ouvertes combinées, un bassin profond, complété par de nombreux parkings sur place, à distance de marche de la plage et à proximité de couchers de soleil à couper le souffle, de la gastronomie dans des restaurants gastronomiques sur la mer, et un mélange passionnant de bars branchés avec des spectacles. Spacious home - great winter getaway

Enjoyed our Bajan home away from home, including the backyard. Nice to have luxuries, but not be at a resort.

A very comfortable, quiet, safe, private location with a responsive manager and professional service staff (pool, landscape and house keeping). The owners are available and responsive as well.

Great Hideaway

This property was beautiful and listed reasonably. Loved the location. Would definitely go there again. It does need a few repairs in bathrooms (broken faucets) and better housekeeping (first aid kits old and contents expired). Otherwise, we enjoyed it

We are sorry that you had to experience plumbing issues, including a broken faucet during your stay, even though everything had been working fine with the all of the guests who were there prior to your visit. We are also happy we were able to rectify the situation as it was brought to our attention., As for the first aid kits, we are happy to be able to provide new and fresh kits to be available for guests needed. We are also glad we were able to be flexible in allowing you to stay less than our required minimum 5 night stay, and to change your original reservation from 4 nights to three, and allow you a very early check-in to accommodate your family traveling needs. Barbados gem

This property was just what our family needed for our first trip to Barbados!! It was very close to Holetown and the beautiful west coast beaches. It was also easy to drive to and explore the more rugged east coast. Although some places are within walking distance, the roads are narrow and there are no sidewalks so we didn’t chance it!! The house was spacious and clean, and the outdoor space is a private oasis. The house does seem to need a bit of TLC but all the basic necessities were there and it had lots of charm. Communication with the property manager was superb!!

What a wonderful place

Robin was great, Rhema was fantastic and the house was absolutely everything that it promised to be. We won’t hesitate to go back our holiday was amazing and we have no complaints at all. The house was very well equipped, the gardens were beautifully kept and very private. Everything that we wanted was pretty much on the doorstep. The only downside was that the cricket started 4 days after we left! Thank you Robin so very much we would love to come back next year

Awesome

The Polo Ridge Villa was fantastic. It had everything we needed to enjoy a two week stay. We spent most of our time poolside or al fresco dining when we were not out and about exploring the islands offerings. One thing of note, as seniors, a car is a must. The walk down and up to the Villa would have been very difficult so keep that in mind when booking if you have mobility issues. Reserve a car at the same time you reserve this lovely rental. Jerome and Robin were outstanding hosts, always receptive to our needs and opinions. Thank you both for everything. It’s been a pleasure.

Mixed feelings

The property owner accommodated us at quite short notice and our communication with her was great. We asked her property manager if we could drop off our things earlier than check-in which was agreed and when we arrived the housekeeper (who had done a good job) let us in and told us to wait for the property manager. When the PM arrived she quickly hooked up the television and then left - literally after a few minutes and without showing us the property and how things worked etc. On checkout day we had zero information. I emailed her 5 minutes before checkout and she said that she had forgotten that we were leaving. We left the keys and checked out. The accommodation was in a lovely area but quite tired. The tv was positioned almost at ceiling height and the sofa opposite was more for decoration than sitting comfortably. The beds were really comfortable but the bedding was badly stained (possible bleach marks) and needs to be replaced. It was very nice sitting outside on the terrace but the small pool was constantly filled with leaves so we didn’t use it. All in all, it was a mixed experience.

We were happy to be able to accommodate you on very short notice and provide respite from the unsuitable accommodations you were in. We will carefully consider all aspects of your review and do all we can to improve our property and the layout to more comfortably accommodate future guests. Regarding our property manager, she had a very hard time during your visit, with death and illness in her family and car troubles as well. Under normal circumstances guests appreciate her even more than the property and we are glad she is returning to her normal hospitable and accommodating self. Should you ever return we would be happy to offer you and improved experience and a discounted returning guest rate. Thanks again and best wishes always.

Leider müsste mal dringend renoviert werden. Einige Dinge waren nicht in Ordnung, Whirlpool kaputt, Duschkabine im Masterbedroom kaputt, Geschirrspüler machte nicht sauber. Man musste alles nachspülen.

Toller Aufenthalt

Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend. Beim Frühstück auf der Terrasse kann ma Kolibris zusehen und auch die grünen Meerkätzchen tummeln sich manchmal um das Haus. Das Haus selbst ist geräumig und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Eine große Küche, drei Schlafzimmer und Bäder und, was toll ist, es gibt eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner. Ganz wertvoll bei einem Badeurlaub. Auch eine wichtige Kleinigkeit sind vier klappbare Strandstühle, Top, um abends am Strand zu sitzen und mit einem Rumpunsch den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen. Was den Aufenthalt erleichtert ist ein Mietwagen, da die Entfernung zu Strand und abends zu den Restaurants fußläufig doch zu weit ist. Sehr nette Vermieter, die immer ein offenes Ohr haben während der Vorbereitung, Anreise, aber auch während des Aufenthalts.

Paynes Bay Beach, the postcard-perfect beach of your daydreams, is a 15-minute downhill stroll from Holders Retreat. Also called "The Platinum Coast," many locals consider this to be the best beach on the island. Also within a 15-minute stroll is Daphne's, The Cliff Beach Club, and an exciting mix of trendy bars like Scarlet and 1837. Holetown and Limegrove Lifestyle Center are less than a mile away, where you will find more restaurants, bars, duty-free shopping, a large supermarket, and banks.

To the east is the Green Monkey, Sandy Lane’s most exclusive golf course; to the west, the Holders Polo Club, the first of its kind in Barbados and one of the most prestigious polo clubs in the Caribbean.

If you are in Barbados on a Sunday, we recommend you check out the delightful Holders Farmers Market, set on the grounds of the historic Holders Plantation House. Select from local art, crafts, and food to take home to your kitchens.
