TV's and Wi-Fi worked fine, kitchen was very small but had been upgraded. Sliding door to balcony was almost impossible to open. Trim paint has been peeled to bare wood in spots. Frying pans were in very poor condition. Valet service for parking is only practical option as self parking lot is across 4 lanes without a crosswalk or traffic signal.
Ocean View over pool from south facing balcony.
ACTUALLY A ZERO STAR RATING
The listing states "ocean front" & "beach front" but the unit is on the side of the building, at the far end of the hallway away from the beach, and directly faces the 20+ story high-rise to the South. From inside the unit, all you can see is that building, not the beach, not the sky, just the building. The listing states "beach view" but you can only see the beach or water from one end of the balcony.
Did not have a tub in second bathroom (as stated on HomeAway description), making it hard for four adults. The sofa sleeper in the living room could in no way hold two adults.
Parking (unless you do the valet) is across the busy street (7 lanes total) with no crosswalk, making it difficult, especially when carrying groceries. There was no security for the lot. One night when we were there a Toyota had all four of its wheels/tires stolen.
The unity is cheaply furnished and poorly maintained. The hallway carpet had been torn up and looked like a prison hallway. We were there for three weeks and nothing was ever done to replace the carpet. A resident said it had been that way for 6 months.
We have stayed at several other condos for a similar price. They were very good. This place was very poor and we would not recommend it.
