We celebrated my 38th birthday vacation in South Carolina, and it was well worth the 14-hour drive! Walking into the home, it was nicely cool on a very hot day, which was such a relief. The house was clean, cozy, and stocked with essentials, making it feel like a true home away from home. Despite being in a busy area, the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, and everything we needed was conveniently close by. My love and I were very comfortable and truly enjoyed our stay. We look forward to returning!
We spent 9 days in this home and happy to say our stay was great! The home is in a great location, close to shopping, food and I-26. It is spacious, clean and well appointed. The house was fully stocked and there was no shortage of any supplies or amenities. Robin was extremely responsive to any questions or inquiries. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book it again! You will not be disappointed.
An Absolutely Wonderful Stay! Our recent vacation at your beautiful home in Summerville, was truly exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how clean, well-maintained, and inviting everything was.The rooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated, making us feel right at home. We particularly appreciated the fully stocked kitchen with all pots and pans, utensils, and dishes. We loved the comfy sectional, the spacious backyard, and comfortable bed. It had everything we needed and more, which made our stay so much more relaxing and convenient than a traditional hotel. The location was also perfect â as my son lives only 20 minutes from there. We enjoyed our morning breakfast at the kitchen table with sun shining in and the view of the back yard.Communication with the host was easy, as she was incredibly helpful and responsive.Overall, your beautiful home once again (We have stayed here before) met all of our expectations in every way. It provided the perfect base for our vacation, offering comfort, convenience, and a truly memorable experience. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway, family adventure, peaceful retreat and would absolutely love to stay here again in the future!
This property is very close to shopping, restaurants and main streets and highways. The kitchen was fully equipped. The host responded fast when contacted.
This was our second time staying in Robinâs home. We love her home! Plenty of room for our family of 6 & our dog. Clean & has everything stocked! Fenced in yard for the dog & garage to park our car in. We will be back!
We came from Toronto Canada to spend six weeks at this lovely bungalow, back garden was fenced in, so our Whippet Buddy was safe to rub around.Absolutely no issues or problems, well over & above our expectations Chris & Hazel Colclough
Excellent Host, lovely home, fenced in back garden, extremely clean & a pleasure being allowed to use this property as a vacationing tenant for 6 weeks
This is the perfect house. I would buy it if it were for sale. Very friendly neighborhood, folks waving from their cars as we walked our dog. Very comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Communication with owner was excellent. No down sides to this rental, enjoy!
We have a lovely Stay at this home. We had a few small issues that were both resolved as quickly as possible. The caretaker was very responsive and helpful with resolutions. The house itself is very clean, comfortable and pleasantly decorated. The yard was very nice for our fur babies. The neighborhood is very quiet, friendly and close enough to see all the Charleston sights without any major inconvenience so long as you have access to a car.
I will stay at this house again! Robin and Nancy were great communicators. My fur baby just loved the fenced in back yard. She had a great time watching the birds and squirrels! The house was just what we needed for a perfect long weekend!
Youâll feel right at home as soon as you walk thru the front door! Very clean, well stocked. Great neighborhood & location. Youâll have zero regrets!
This home in Summerville was a perfect place for my sisters and me. Very clean and spacious enough for each of us to have our own room yet a great living space for us to sit, talk, and laugh while watching some television. The house was stocked to the MAX! Even had a stand mixer. The moderately decorated areas made us feel as if we were still home.
This is the second time my husband and I have stayed here at this property and we absolutely love it!! Always clean, great communication, and very relaxing neighborhood. Loved the new updates! Been a wonderful experience both! Definitely recommend!!!!
Place was amazing! You can tell its well taken care of by the owners / care takers and guests. Neighborhood was very clean safe and well kept up. the privacy fenced in yard was perfect for our small ageing dog. ( zero evidence that any dogs were ever there including ours). House is decorated as if it could be in a magazine. close to all attractions and restaurants. I would give this place a 10+++ Thank You Robin for sharing this home with us for a few days! We'll be back! Everything was perfect! A++
The house was very clean and in a quiet neighborhood close to restaurants and grocery stores and the host Robin was amazing!! Would highly recommend staying here
This home exceeded our expectations. We wanted a pet friendly home with a fenced yard and our dog quietly enjoyed his space. We enjoyed the backyard too. The neighbourhood is friendly and quiet.
I love to cook and the kitchen was very well stocked with cookware.
There are also so many restaurants close by; all with delicious choices. The traffic in those areas can be busy at times.
We love to ride our bikes. We drove a short distance to Sawmill Branch trail but our favorite was West Ashley Greenway which was also a short drive away. It is a must see.
Robin, thank you for sharing your home with us. We would enjoy staying there again.
Hello I am Robin (Chelle, if you prefer). I am a US Southern girl living in France at present with my husband and our furry children. I was born in Florida then spent the majority of my life in good old South Carolina. Chance brought my husband to the US and the rest was fate. Now I am an old pro at living overseas (20+ years) but my true home will always be the US. We are hoping to retire to Summerville one day but that is still many years off. I work at home but love being outdoors. I spend all my spare time at my dog club teaching agility and competing in agility and obedience with my Aussies. We also dabble in Treibball, Dog Dancing, Frisbee and Cavage (that's truffle hunting). Well, enough about me.
My love for this house is not only due to the memories that it brings me of my father but also due to its quaint style. It has a lovely garden full of birds and squirrels. I have been told there is even a bunny around sometimes. Also the cute little picket fences and trellis simply made me adore this house. It truly stands out among the others in the neighborhood. Inside it is bright and spacious. I have tried to decorate it with taste and comfort. All this makes me love this house. Believe me when I tell you I would love to live here full time but I cannot so I will let you enjoy it for me.
My home is ideally located for exploring the Charleston area. It is in a very quiet neighborhood just 2 miles from I-26. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping right around the corner too. It cannot get any better than that to see the region.
