Kitchenette & Bar: Includes a refrigerator, sink, and bar glasses for mixing drinks and snacks without heading upstairs.

Sleeping: Includes a convenient King-sized bedroom and a separate full bathroom (tub/shower combo and double sinks).



Upper Level: Quiet Retreats & Exclusive Views

The top floor is dedicated to peaceful rest, maximum privacy, and the best views the house offers.

Master Suite: The show-stopper! Features a King bed, a private ensuite bathroom with a large tiled shower, and exclusive access to a second, private upper deck.

Guest Rooms: Includes the cozy Queen Bedroom and the fun Bunk Room (Twin Bunk w/ Trundle, sleeps 3) with an HD TV.

Loft Hangout: A perfect reading nook or extra sleeping space with a comfortable Trundle Bed overlooking the living room.

Upstairs Laundry: A shared full bathroom features a walk-in shower, double sinks, and a full-sized washer and dryer (detergent provided).



Guest Access:

Guests can access the entire cabin as well as our playground and communal spaces on the resort property. There is a new community firepit and cornhole game in front of the Grand Lodge. The Lobby, located at the front of the property by Fall River Road, offers a paid guest laundry room, pamphlets for local attractions, and a coffee bar. You can access the door with your cabin code.



The Neighborhood:

Fall River Road has access to Rocky Mountain National Park's north entrance and is lined on each side of the street with cabins and resorts. Even so, this area is in the remote Rocky Mountains and feels very secluded. We often have wild animals such as deer and elk on our property.



Getting Around:

Travel is easiest by car. We offer free, ample parking on our circle driveway. Please note that you do need All-Wheel Drive or Four-Wheel Drive to access this house. We keep the road plowed and salted to the best of our abilities. The winding road can be difficult to navigate in the dark and in the snow.



Other Things to Note:

We are in the wilderness of Colorado. There are bears, elk, deer, sheep and numerous other wild animals that also call the mountains home. Respect their space and do not keep any trash or food outside unattended. We have an animal proof dumpster on our property for any trash. Do not feed the wildlife! It is illegal to feed any wildlife in Colorado and you could get a fine. This includes deer, elk, birds, bears and rodents! Thank you!



Designed with group comfort in mind — guests may coordinate meal preparation or hosted evenings if desired.

This is a nice home at the top of a private road with excellent views. I wish I could give a better review, but unfortunately I cannot. The listing (at the time we booked our reservation and as of 3 weeks later when this review was posted) describes the property as having five bedrooms, which was the basis for why we selected it. Upon check-in we discovered that it actually has only four bedrooms plus a loft with a trundle bed couch. This is as it was described further down in the listing within the detailed fine print, which we missed. As our party contained six adults, needing 5 bedrooms it meant that one of our family members slept in the open loft area next to the 2nd floor staircase, not in the privacy of a bedroom as we had expected. In addition, the house was not fully finished, with both landscaping and patio off the family room under construction, the fireplace inoperable-none of which was disclosed. I wish the listing had been more accurate, we would not have chosen this house for our trip.

The house was beautiful and fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay! There was great communication with the host. So much room for our family. For our next trip to Estes Park we will definitely check the availability for this property! The only downside is that when we settled in for the evening there was not a tv for family movie night in the family room.

This was our best stay yet! The home was just that , very clean and well equipped for everything we needed . There was Even a waffle maker with mix and syrup laid out for our arrival. The views from both Decks were superb as was the Communication with Jill the Property Manager . Highly recommend this property

Fourth Week

We had a perfect week for a combo of working remotely and celebrating the 4th of July. The Hilltop House has everything thing you need for relaxing, cooking at home, and getting work done while away from the city. The open spaces give plenty of room for the family meals and Grandma enjoyed her own suite off the kitchen. The town of Estes was a beautiful place to spend the week and we enjoyed easy access to hiking in RMNP. The deck off the primary bedroom was lovely for morning coffee and there was even a robin making her nest in the corner of the porch. The host was super responsive but honestly every detail had been considered, including the in home gym for light workouts. We’ll be back.
