Enjoyed

Just off surgery wife and I needed a getaway and enjoyed the accommodations and the are. Regular visitors to the area and had a great stay and view.

Great location!

It was perfect for a couples’ getaway! I think it would be difficult if you had others with you in the party because the bedroom is right when you walk in the front door. We loved it though!

Loved

My husband and I went on a anniversary getaway, and it was PERFECT for us and BEAUTIFUL views, we were very shocked on how quiet it was inside the room, and you did not hear any outside noises, not even while laying in the bed and it being right beside the elevator. Was in walking distance to many things. We plan on planning another trip.. ❤️

Disappointing

Depressing. The bed was so soft and saggy that we left the day after we arrived -- only staying one night. No draperies at the window so the bright lights of the elevators were shining in or bedroom all night. We finally hung a beach towel over the window.

Overall stay was good. Only part I didn’t like was the text saying if the parking pass is not on your counter, come to the office. Go to the office and lady said that they never leave parking passes in the rooms. Then it was $50.00. Why send the text stating “if the parking pass is not in the room, come to the office”?

This property was in bad need of attention. There were only 3 working lights in the whole condo! The light in the dining room had no switch, it was just an extension cord that had been spliced onto the power cord with electrical tape! My daughter put something in the microwave , and when she shut the door, the top of the microwave fell on her and cut her arm! I called the front desk and the lady came and took pictures of everything as evidence. A maintenance guy came and was very helpful in getting us lights. he was the one bright spot in our room debacle. When I went to see the manager the next morning, she said it wasn't her responsibility to take care of the room, she just checked people in and out; no refund, no apology, no nothing. I reached out to Brett Robinson rentals, multiple times, no answer and they never called me back. What a bunch of floppers!

Section 8 Government Housing

I have booked several times with VRBO but have NEVER come across a facility this BAD! The mattress must have came from 1930’s as the springs are shot and we rolled into the middle of the bed. My wife slept on the couch and I tolerated the mattress for a week which the springs are absolutely shot. We did consider buying a mattress just to sleep on. The bathroom sink was blocked and we ended up brushing out teeth and shaving in the shower with the rusted shower curtain rod that flaked rusty metal when closed or opened. The grout in the tile was black and we never went barefoot within the apartment. Walking into the kitchen the toe-kick was missing exposing finish nails to which we put a towel down so we didn’t cut our feet. On walking into the living room there were enormous patches of knock-down paint missing from the ceiling and the rest was water stained. We exited onto the balcony to see stained and dirty floors with two chairs and a table that were dated, rusty and peeling with a small wicker table that obviously someone had used as an ashtray to extinguish their cigarettes. I don’t think I need to continue but to just say this. I work in Law Enforcement and have to attend numerous calls to Section 8 Government Housing during my shift and I can absolutely say that their housing is superior over this accommodation. We will NEVER return to this facility. Period.

Overall the property was good.

Everything was good but the patio furniture was in bad condition and the hideaway couch was terrible. Ouch!! Needs to be replaced. I must say the view was incredible.

Bathroom needs updated and cleaned. Kitchen needs stocked with basic items. Great view.

View was great. Access to elevator was awesome. Bathroom was on horrible shape. Besides needing an overall bleaching top to bottom, needs new toilet seat, new shower curtain, hand towel rack, and exhaust fan. Kitchen didnt have adequate utensils. 2 forks, drinking glasses broken, measuring cup broken, no hot pads.

Beautiful Inside and Breathtaking View

Although the condo was small, it was beautiful inside. The only downside about being directly in front of the elevator was the constant noise throughout the night. The bedroom being next to the hallway was not ideal.

Island Winds East has just completed a $3 million remodel of the complex and this owner used the down time to update and remodel their unit too. The upside of having the bedroom on the hallway is that you have the entire living and dining room looking over the beautiful Gulf of Mexico and the sugar white sands of our area.
