Named after our adventurous mini Aussie, Lily. This cozy 2-bedroom, 1-bath roundhouse retreat offers a one-of-a-kind stay just 10 minutes from Hunter Mountain and Kaaterskill Falls. Surrounded by pine trees and snowy ridgelines, The Lily Pad is the perfect home base for skiing, snowshoeing, and exploring the magical Winter Wonderland in nearby Tannersville.
Inside, the homeâs circular design creates a warm, open feel. Curl up on the green velvet sofa by the wood-burning stove, stream a movie or catch your favorite football game on the projector, or enjoy a meal at the round dining table overlooking the snow-covered yard. The kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking, and both bedrooms offer soft linens and a restful space after a day outdoors.
Outside, enjoy fresh mountain air and quiet starry nights. Thereâs a wood firepit for gathering, a ski & snowboard rack on the deck to store gear, and pet-safe salt and a shovel available near the entrance when needed. Driveway plowing is provided between November 15 and April 1, after snowfalls of 4 inches or more.
The Lily Pad is family- and pet-friendly, with thoughtful amenities including childrenâs dinnerware, books, games, and a Pack 'n Play. You'll also find plush towels, essential toiletries, Wi-Fi, Roku TV, in-home laundry, and individual room thermostats to help keep things comfortable.
