My family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo! It was 12 floors up and gave us a spectacular view of the beach and ocean! We found the master bed to be comfortable and my children really loved the bunk beds! The kitchen was decently stocked with essential dishes. There was not any dish soap, only dishwasher detergent. Having the half bath was nice. Only downside was the slow elevators and minimal parking for larger pick up trucks. Centrally located for activities and restaurants. Having direct access to the beach was amazing and so convenient!
We definitely will be back!
The hotel has beautiful views of the beach and is walking distance to the hangout and shopping. The room did have dirty dishes upon arrival, but the beds and pillows are so comfortable I forgot about the dishes. I wish I could have taken the bed home with me!
So, if you can afford it, GO ELSEWHERE. This place is a loud, 1970s dump. I only gave it two stars because it was so inexpensive...but you get what you pay for!! God forbid your room is near an elevator - it sounds like an Army tank rolling through, ALL NIGHT LONG. It's called a hotel, but the room service they provide is making the bed (if you're lucky) and throwing some toilet paper in the sink. It's just an old, loud place with a sometimes sketchy clientele. Coffee maker didn't work. Beach was beautiful and clean, the location is ideal. But you have to sacrifice comfort in your room. Would definitely not stay here again.
My wife and I traveled to Gulf Shores from Louisiana for an impromptu weekend away. We were pleased to find a rental condo available for our trip that was located right on the beach. I have no complaints about the location. The quick walk down to the beach was very convenient and the condo was well situated with regard to restaurants.
The condo itself left something to be desired. The bedroom is right next to the front door and directly across the hallways from the elevators, so it was fairly noisy. Neighbors were also blaring music for a significant period of our stay, making it difficult to enjoy being inside.
We woke up Saturday morning in desperate need of coffee, only to find that the coffee maker did not work. We were about to call the front desk, but read on the refrigerator that Brett Robinson is not responsible for any appliances.
In summary, we were pleased with the location, but little else. We expected better accomodations for the price we had to pay.
