The home had everything we needed. It was close to everything. Coffee was right up the road, which is important to us because weâre from the city. The beds were extremely comfortable. Lots of extra blankets. Just an all-around good trip. Will definitely stay again when we are in the area if available
For 2 couples this was great. We went clam digging. Kitchen had pots n pans for cooking. Beds were firm but doable. About 5 mies to Ocean Shores, but less than 1 mile to Coplis Beach. And 6 miles to Mocrooks the other clam digging location. Clean.
This house is spacious, short drive to beach, quiet area, and easily found. Huge yard for kids to run. Nice being able to cook, do laundry or sit and relax.
Everything about the house was as described even the purple tub, which was lovely. Our family enjoyed not just the house and their surrounding areas with the forest, but also going into town watching the sunset on the beach. Iâm much needed vacation and just time together thank you for your home it was beautiful.
Enjoyed our stay. Mostly clean with the exception some random unidentifiable wall smudge that we wiped down and a cockroach crawled out of the toaster. Great comfy beds and large area to run around around the house
Everything was as expected or better than expected! Just outside of Ocean Shores, the value was great for the price. It was my senior mom and aunt, and myself who stayed. All the rooms were spacious! It was clean when we arrived. There were helpful instructions for using the home. I didn't see any instructions for the tv, and would have liked them, but it wasn't a big deal. We we're able to watch Netflix. Check in was simple. There was some communication with the owner prior to making our reservation, and they were friendly and able to answer my questions. The instructions from the listing were clear and sufficient enough that we didn't need to reach out to the owner during our stay. Only issue was the steep front steps for the seniors, but there are other steps through the laundry room that I could go in the front and let them use to get in. I did see where the owner said they're working on replacing them! We would stay here again!
Nice area and quiet. Enjoyed our stay. Should probably cover the 2 ft deep 2 ft wide hole in grass next to the driveway so nobody breaks a leg. Walking the property we almost fell in it.
This house worked out very well for our needs for the week that we stayed there. There is plenty of parking which worked out well for us as we had 3-vehicles and a trailer to park. The house was very clean and fit our needs well. It is close too the ocean and some very nice tourist areas. We plan on staying there again next year.
Property manager was very informative well before our stay, the house had a very homey feeling. We had all the utensils we needed to make meals, the yard had tons of space. We couldn't find the trail to the creek but overall an awesome place to stay
The grounds and laundry are shared with the vacation rental trailer home behind the house. The 3 renters in it used the washer and dryer a lot to dry out thier clothes. It's pretty quiet but if sharing is not your thing then this property is probably not for you. We had an enjoyable stay and would recommend it.
Great stay at this quiet spot with great woods to explore
Stayed here with my family and we all had a great time. Nice and quiet, back from the road. We saw other guest staying in the other rentals on the property but had no issues and very little interaction. Our kids loved the DVD's here and all wanted to sleep in the living room. We also spent hours exploring the woods behind the rental and looking for frogs and other critters. Communication with the owner was fantastic and the listed description did not disappoint. Will visit again.
After reading some of the previous fairly negative reviews of this property I was expecting the worst, but our stay actually turned out to be quite good. The house is roomy and while it started a bit chilly, the wood-burning fireplace did a great job warming the place up. The only issue we had was with the plumbing - except for the bathtub, every single drain in the house drained very slowly. I suspect this was due to previous guests' clam cleaning adventures. This didn't end up being a huge issue for us, but it did mean that we couldn't really clean any dishes in the sink in the kitchen. Host was very responsive though so points for that. Overall a decent place.
Ocean City, Washington is a small hamlet 2 miles north of Ocean Shotes, Washington. Nice and quiet.
House in a rural area with a lot of lawn, woods, trees and wildlife. It had been raining a lot the week before we arrived and the front yard was very wet. It would be a good place for kids and dogs later in the summer when the front lawn dries out.
The main house is older, but some new upgrades to the kitchen, bedrooms, living room and a car port to get your car out of the weather makes for a nice place to stay. The entire place sits on about 2 acres of land with a deep woods along the west side of the property. You are 1 mile from an access road that takes you to a beach. If you want entertainment, there is a Quinault Indian Casino about 4 miles away. Ocean Shores has a lot of restaurants and family friendly businesses you can browse through. There is a multiplex movie theater in Ocean Shores also and a sports bar for those interested in keeping up with the latest sporting events. Frogs serenade you to sleep at night. Great place for the nature lover.
This is the absolute worst VRBO I have ever stayed in. It smells like mold and made me feel sick within a few hours. Headache, itchy eyes, sinus and lung issues. It was overwhelmingly disappointing after a 3-day drive. There is minimal heat, the doors and windows are drafty and the house would not warm up without the 2 additional space heaters we had to buy. There is almost no lighting in the living space. The bathroom is disgusting, with peeling paint off the tub and rusty fixtures. Warm-up in the shower? Nope, not much hot water so get to clean and get out. The modern faucets either shoot you in the lap with water or trickle it all over the countertop. The kitchen looks nice, the faucet was not actually attached to the counter. The "trail" outback is completely overgrown so bring a machete.
The only saving grace is that it 'might' be a decent beach house in the summer.
This property was such a cute, cozy, and quiet place to stay. So nice for a family to go.
Renting this property was nice and easy. The property owner sent me all of the information I needed to know before arriving. Overall my family and I had a great experience
I had read the reviews and was a little worried, but we had pretty low expectations. The creek was black water that looked like you wouldn't want to get it on you at all. Also, the house is right in front of a trailer that someone lives in, so there was really no privacy. We also had to trade off on the "bad" mattress in the smaller bedroom. Messaged for early check in, and only got back a form email, messaged again and didn't hear back until the day after we checked in. Other than that, it had everything we needed, location was good, place was pretty nice on the inside. Would stay here again.
We enjoyed the many activities around the location. We have a few recommendations: bring an extension cord with a power strip for the bathroom as there isnât an outlet in there. Consider what things you will need for the kitchen, it is minimally stocked. Also BE AWRE: The listing states âsleeps sixâ but the price is for four and you are charged if you have 2 more individuals in your party. The creek area was accessible but we didnât kayak there, because there didnât seem to be enough information about the creek, for safety of our wee one we went kayaking in Ocean Shores on the canals instead. The home has some unlevel floors and was a bit musty in the laundry area, but has plenty of working windows. It has many nice decorative updates and met our needs well.
Great place to stay. We were gone majority of the day times. I work in the fire service and have a motto âleave it better than you found itâ. Took a few minutes to fix a couple plumbing flaws in bathroom to prevent any issues. Also, when using the baseboards in the living room, highly recommended to pull clear the windows drapes. Overall it worked great for my family and the location was excellent for daily adventures in any direction.

Water heater kept failing. Kitchen sink tap loose. Bathtub is disgusting. Other derelict cabins an house trailer on the premises. No phone service. Cable TV nearly useless. Poor lighting.
This property sits on a large piece of land (18+ acres!) which provides some unique experience with the nature. It has a creek flowing through and you are more than welcome to bring your own kayak and test the water out! There are lots of trees and fun to explore.
