Ocean View Chic Condo at Carlsmith Beach Park in Hilo!

Welcome to Sandy Toes, our chic one bedroom condo at Carlsmith Beach Park in Hilo, Hawaii! On the fourth floor our private lanai boasts lovely ocean and park views below. Hang out on the lanai lounger or eat your meals al fresco while looking out at the ocean and tropical trees. This is a fantastic location for beach days and Hilo town relaxation.

The living room sectional sofa has a pull out section so that two adults can comfortably lounge and watch our 75 inch flat screen TV with streaming service and free 1 Gig Wi-Fi (sign into your own viewing accounts). This condo building stays cool with cross ventilation and our unit fans - there is no AC! The kitchen is equipped with lots of small appliances, cookware, and our beachy-cool aqua refrigerator. Fun!

The bedroom has a king sized bed and closet with shelves, hangers, and suitcase storage space. The bathroom has sparkling blue tiled shower-bathtub combo, wall-mounted towel warmer and custom lighting. The building has shared laundry rooms on each floor. Laundry is PayRange app enabled or coin operated.

One parking space is included in your condo rental. The building is secured with a key-entry elevator to all floors and an on-site resident manager. A convenient bus stop is in front of the building and Blue Bikes are nearby the bike path into downtown. Come to Hilo and find out why we're the hottest little Hawaiian getaway spot!

Really outstanding condo. Very nicely equipped, facing the ocean so nice frog and ocean noises. Saw a turtle and plenty of fish snorkeling at the beach next door.

The owners of this condo really do go above and beyond with providing everything that they can think of that would fit in a 1BR condo. They saw your review and were hoping for more details of what they could provide that would have made your stay more enjoyable. Because of Hawai'i's very mild year round climate and absence of land-based predators, there are plenty of animals around - cats, chickens, pigs, goats, donkeys, mongoose, and more ;-) There are no pets allowed in the building and there have certainly never been cats inside of the condo. Great Condo with “Blue Hawaii” theme. Nice upgrades you don’t usually find in a rental like towel warmers, bidet, charging stations by the bed. Beautiful view of Carlsmith Beach. Easy walk to the water. No air conditioning, but ceiling fans and ocean breeze kept the place pleasant.

The rental was very clean, well stocked and had a great location. The only downside is the condition of the pool. The lounge chairs and tables need to be updated and there are cats living there; they need to be relocated. I wouldn’t want my children to be scratched by a feral cat.

Great property and location. Condo presents as described. Retractable screened front door was perfect for breezy days. Pool needs a bit of attention. Quite property, clean grounds with tropical flowers bushes and a few papaya fruit trees. The greenery behind the property hid the swimmable/wading beach and ocean view. Close to everything. A bit of loud music and cars. All in all enjoyed our stay!

Every morning we woke up early to swim with the turtles. It was magical. The condo is nicely upgraded and very comfortable. Highly recommend, and hope to return soon.

The unit was very welcoming, items in the unit looked all brand new. Nice breeze from lanai to the front door where had screen door to keep the privacy. We all enjoyed going to the beach in front of the building. The location was excellent, closer to the airport and downtown hilo. The unit is perfect for one person or couple to stay.

Loved this place. The inside of the condo felt like a 5 star resort. Towel warmers, bidet, fully stocked kitchen. And the view from the balcony was lovely.
