Il s'agit d'une chambre à coucher une salle de bain meublé avec un lit king-size dans la chambre privée et un canapé-lit queen-size dans le salon pouvant accueillir jusqu'à quatre personnes. Le salon est meublé avec une télévision à écran plat de 40 "avec programmation HD. La cuisine est équipée d'une cuisinière à gaz 4 feux, d'un réfrigérateur et d'un micro-ondes entre autres petits appareils de cuisine. Juste à l'extérieur de votre unité, il y a un petit pont meublé avec deux chaises pour s'asseoir et peut-être profiter d'un café sur un bon matin avant de frapper les plages.

Le complexe offre une piscine idéale pour se rafraîchir au chaud de l'été mais aussi chauffée pendant les mois d'hiver pour un plaisir tout au long de l'année. Il existe plusieurs grilles dans la zone de grillage de la propriété juste à côté de la rive de Herron Lagoon. Beaucoup de chaises longues et sièges autour de la piscine et une grande zone de pont pour se baigner au bord du lac.

La propriété est située à moins de 10 minutes de la suivante. Moins de 1 mille de la plage la plus proche, soit Turtle Beach, à 1 km des restaurants et magasins les plus proches, à 3 miles de la principale plage publique de Siesta Key et à 4 miles de Siesta Key Village. L'île offre de nombreuses options de services gratuits de conduite (conseils seulement) pour vous emmener dans l'île.

Place was very clean, kitchen was very nice, the only downside to our stay was there was no bedroom dresser for our clothes and had to leave them on the floor in the suitcases. We stayed for 8 days, very inconvenient

Just what we needed! Love the kayaks, bikes, and all kinds of beach stuff for use, plus onsite laundry. Great location between turtle beach and siesta beach. It was my first time staying somewhere other than on the beach, and I liked the quiet and serenity of the lake/ lagoon. My daughter loved the pool!

Nice clean property

This is a nice clean property at a quiet convenient location. The interiors and the furnitures were good. The bathroom was spacious. The only suggestion would be to include a dishwasher for added convenience

Thanks for staying at Siesta Heron Suites & Villas. There is no dishwasher advertised or pictured in this unit. We have units at this property that do, please choose one of those if a dishwasher is a necessity for your stay.

Short stay at the beach

The area was beautiful and was just minutes from Beach. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, and we enjoyed watching HBO. We used the canoe and bicycles that were available to us. The pool was also very nice. We look forward to returning next year.

Unfinished renovation, uncooperative management

The house reeked of pesticide, had ants in the cabinet, was missing screens on all four windows, one of which wouldn’t open. The management company failed to respond to my repeated entreaties for help and denied any wrongdoing when I brought VRBO in. I left the next day. Avoid at all costs

VERY dissapointing

The place advertised bikes at the unit and we inquired about them before our arrival. We were told in an email on Feb 24th "There are 8 bikes for communal use at the property. They are beach bikes, in decent condition." This should have given Siesta Key plenty of time to make repairs prior to our arrival almost 2 weeks later. As avid bike riders, the first thing we checked out on Sunday were the bikes. We found that, out of the eight bikes, four had flat tires. I attempted to pump each of them but was unsuccessful. The other four were too small for adults. We tried to use two of them for a time but they were inadequate. We knew of at least 4 other guests that used the bikes or tried to. There weren't enough to go around. I called Siesta Key's office first thing Monday morning...3 times...& got a recording each time. I left messages & was finally contacted by 'John' late in the afternoon. He apologized, told me that he would put in a work order & that they should be fixed the next day. On Tuesday, I talked to a gentleman in the parking lot who was doing some repairs. He said he was there to fix the bikes & needed to run to Walmart to pick up some new tubes. We expected him back the next day. He FINALLY showed up on Friday & fixed the bikes, too late for us! We called & left 3 messages on Thursday. "John" finally returned our call on the same day. His only response was that the person who was supposed to be repairing the bikes was off. We asked for a credit to compensate us for some of these problems & he told us he'd check with the owners but we never heard back. The next 'less than optimal' experience we had was with someone who was building an awning on the building adjacent to the pool. Sawing, drilling, hammering, a radio playing, & sawdust made our use & enjoyment of the pool or area around it impossible for 2 full days. Siesta Key's own instructions ask guests to "Please be considerate of fellow guests & keep noise levels to a minimum in & around the pool." NONE of their guests were able to use the pool or surrounding area during this construction. Really surprised to see this happening during what would be considered 'high season' in Florida. The couch sags & wasn't comfortable at all. The bed has one of the worst mattresses I’ve ever encountered. Should have been replaced years ago. Don't expect a good night's sleep here! Have asked for a credit, got no response & now disputing charges. This place was a rip off and the service sucked.

Guest did not understand what "community amenities" means. Held 2 bikes captive for 2 weeks. They also left a bunch of belongings after check-out which we mailed back for free. reviews from other units during same time... "This place is beautiful! Nice pool and extras for the beach and outdoor activities. Beds were comfortable and kitchen fully stocked. Family owned and felt like home away from home." ; "Great amenities, comfy bed and spacious shower. Nice cozy and clean pool" ; "good kitchen amenities so you can basically prepare your meals in the apartment. Loved spanking clean free laundry and complimentary use of the bikes, kayaks and beach chairs and umbrellas." ; "We loved this little place!! It was so quiet and beautiful there" ; "Wowie! Unbeatable amenities and location, for the price! There were more than enough bikes for 6 of us to ride 5 minutes to Turtle Beach." ; "The deck leading to the lagoon was perfect for relaxing on, and we used the kayaks, canoe, paddleboards, and bikes several times; such nice additional amenities!"

The good, the bad and the ugly

My stay was just OK. The major issues: The pullout mattress was so thin my son could feel the bars underneath when he slept on it. The air conditioning did not work for the first 3 days. Finally we called management and they fixed it. The air conditioning fan in the ceiling was rusted out and nasty looking. The minor issues: There was one towel per person, and they did not bring fresh ones. I don't know if they just expect you to wash them or if I was supposed to call management to ask for fresh ones, there was nothing in the property description about this. There was no a dishwasher. There was not a coffee pot, only a Keurig (which is fine but, again they don't list that anywhere on the property description) Although the place was generally clean and bug free, there were dead bugs in the light fixtures. These could be considered major or minor: The beach is not that close. You can walk there, but it's pretty far. There was no TV in the bedroom. The good: There are plenty of washers and dryers. The pool is nice, although small, but it never was so crowded that you couldn't enjoy it. The deck and lagoon in the back was nice. The trolley picks up and drops off right in front of the property. They did have bikes available and in good condition the entire time we were there. They provide beach umbrellas, chairs, coolers, sand toys. All would have been nice to know ahead of time.

Very Disappointing Experience

This was our initial VRBO experience. Condo was shabby. Heat and Cooling difficult to manage. TV usage impossible. Towels thread bare. No dishwasher. Smoke alarm went off for no reason. Limp pillows, Tawdry sofa, No welcome or area informational info left by owner( only a short computer entry)

The unit is completely newly renovated from top to bottom. TV is a smart TV running on Roku giving access from live TV to signing into your favorite streaming apps such as Netflix, Hulu, etc. Towels are all new Royal Crown Platinum, the bath mat and wash cloths are of course thinner towels as they get ruined almost with each guest. There is no dishwasher advertised in the pictures, description, or amenities. Smoke alarms go off when there is smoke from burning your food on the gas stove. Pillows replaced, sofa is approx. 1.5 years old leather sofa as pictured. There is a plethora of information in our guest portal from recommendations on dining to activities to all the property information.

Wonderful stay

We have been to Siesta Key on numerous occasions. This was our first time to stay other than oceanside. However, we loved your location and the convenience of parking just outisde our door. We could easily go to the beaches. And sitting by the lagoon or pool was very peaceful. No complaints about accomodations, however, the sofa was not comfortable. I forgot to mention that the can opener is broken and was so when we first tried to use it. No big deal there. And just one minor thing...we were there at 3, the room was ready but told by an employee that we could not enter til 4. We left by 9 am. I am sure most leave early. Did not understand why we had to wait. However....we look forward to our return in January next year. It was delightful.

Great location with amenities

The siesta heron was a clean, relatively quiet place for us to have a short relaxing vacation. We took advantage of the bikes and kayaks. It’s a little under a mile to the amazing beach where we found many shells. We would stay here again!

Quiet location, updated interiors, pool and kayaks

This was a nice little place to stay for my wife and two of our teenage children. We did not plan on staying on the Key for our entire visit so this location being away from the beaches and restaurants worked well for us! Not that everything is far away, just a quick ride on the shuttle or car drive and you are at the beaches and close to food and drinks!

Stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed it thoroughly. Very clean, looked just like pictures. Only thing I would say that was a downfall was that we only had one roll of toilet paper and it was a tad further from things than expected. Overall, super cute, homey and enjoyable experience.

Was exactly as advertised, loved this little cabin, newly renowed, it was perfect for our stay. Super clean, close to everything we wanted, would DEFINITELY rent here again.

Review for Siesta Heron 1/Antigua

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at better places, but we have stayed at worse. When we entered, it had a strong musty smell. We bought a room odor eliminator, and opened the kitchen window. By the fourth day the smell lessened. We also had to buy dish soap. We were surprised to find only one shower door, so water would accumulate on the floor when we took a shower. It was strange that the air conditioning didn't go directly into the bedroom. The kitchen updates were nice. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks, etc. The pool area was too small. It would have been nice to have someone on site to check on things. All in all, we were able to make everything work out ok.

Great Place to Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was very nice. This was our 2nd year in s row at heron 1 Antiqua. We liked it so well last year that we came back. Our only complaint was the bed. It needed a new mattress and sheets that fit it. Some microwaveable containers would be a big help. Other than that, we love the place
