Overall decent stay. The check-in process was straightforward. However, they claimed the rooms would be ready by 4pm and when we got to the room, the beds were not made and there were no towels. Other than that, the property was very clean. The host responded quickly to messages prior to arrival but started taking more time to respond once we had check-in. As workout enthusiasts, my brother and I specifically selected this property because of pictures of the gym the host had posted. These pictures are misleading and inaccurate; they are in fact pictures of the gym located at the Hyde Residence across the street to which those staying at the resort cannot be given free access. The elevators were chaotic with fairly long waits (and line ups on the weekend). The location of the property is decent; it is located near a 7/11 and 2 cafes but no restaurants.
I have stayed in several properties in sunny isles beach and definitely this is the best to stay . Is vacation friendly and the brokers are amazing with the attention and quick response to every detail . Definitely I will stay again.
We loved the room and view. The elevators here at the Hyde were very inconvenient.
The condo was great...lots of space and an amazing view. The elevators were a big negative. The maintenance and cleaning staff use the same four elevators as the residents and guests. We liked the pool and amenities. The beach chairs are too crowded together. Overall we liked our experience here.
Overall I would stay again. Minor issues pool and beach packed and very hard to get a chair at the pool. The elevators were slow.
The condo itself was great.
Our 2 room suite was beautiful and clean with an incredible view! Coffee maker is not standard keurig style machine and we were unable to find the coffee "capsules" it requires at any local shops. We had to purchase coffee from lobby cafe which cost $12 for 2 reg. coffees. Pool deck was beautifully setup but not clean. Crushed food and garbage on ground. Valet takes at least 15 mins so give yourself some time beforehand, even if you call ahead. Worse part of this stay, the elevators. Some waits took as long as 20 mins just to get on one. We and our children witnessed a few altercations because of high tensions waiting for elevators to arrive. Only 4 elevators to service 40+ floors. At one point we decided to avoid the elevator chaos and walk ALL 37 floors to our room.
This was our second stay at this hotel and the elevators were an issue then as well. While we believe this hotel is posh and beautifully decorated, we feel blinded by a shiny object. For when we got up close, it turned out to be a dull penny.
