Please note: This is a vintage loft, but it has a lot of beautiful character! - This home is a loft-style unit with stairs, so extra precautions for your children are necessary.
To access the building, we give you a simple app access via email to go in-and-out as you please. You walk up the stairs to the elevators, and take the elevator to the top floor, the 8th floor.
When you exit the elevator, you turn right and then left down the hallway to your home. When you enter the home, it opens to an open, spacious loft. There is a dining area, a kitchen, a living room, a half bathroom,and private patio for those staying on the first level. The private patio gives you a fresh feel and a cool cityscape view.
If you walk up to the 2nd floor, you will find a spacious loft with two full size beds, a huge closet, and a full bathroom. This is truly a special place, and we look forward to making your stay a 5-star experience!

Printers Row is “pocket” neighborhood between Congress Parkway and Polk Street just minutes from the Chicago Loop. After the Great Chicago Fire of 1871, the area became the Midwest hub of the printing industry with historically significant buildings designed by legendary architects like Daniel Burnham, William Holabird and William Le Baron Jenney. Today, many of those historic buildings remain but the quiet, tree lined streets are now largely residential. Of course, it continues to be a draw for fans of Chicago architecture.
During the day, the neighborhood is an easy walk to offices in the Loop, off Michigan Avenue, or in LaSalle Street financial centers. After hours, the district is alive with restaurants, boutiques, book and antique stores.

Early check-ins/Late check-outs can sometimes be accommodated by our cleaning service for $50 per hour fee. 𝐔𝐧𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤-𝐎𝐮𝐭 – Subject to a $50 fee for every 30 minutes past check-out, or up to the cost of any impacted nights subsequent to originally scheduled check-out.
MID STAY CLEAN reminder For stays of 15+ days, mid-stay cleaning is REQUIRED at $95-$140. We`ll communicate this after booking to schedule accordingly.

Guest Verification As part of our vetting process, we may ask guests to confirm a few details — such as their names, ages, where they’re traveling from, or their travel plans — before accepting a booking. In some cases, we may also request a valid government-issued ID for verification purposes. This helps us ensure that all stays are safe, transparent, and in line with our house policies.
Unresponsive Guest In some cases, if a guest does not respond within a reasonable period, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. For same-day bookings, this timeframe is up to 2 hours or less. For all other bookings, this timeframe is up to 8 hours. This ensures that we can provide the best experience and availability for all our guests.
Online Check-In & Rental Agreement Required Before receiving check-in instructions, all primary guests must complete our online check-in form and review/sign our rental agreement. This helps verify guest details and ensures a smooth, secure arrival.
EXTRA GUEST CHARGE The base price covers 4 guests. For more than 4 guests, there is an extra guest fee of $15 per guest for the full number of nights. Example: 1 extra guest for a 5-night stay = $15 × 5 nights = $75.
Security Deposit (Families with Young Children) A security deposit may be required for groups traveling with two or more children under 14 years old, as a precaution against accidental damage and cleaning. The deposit is fully refundable, provided there is no damage to the property after a standard post-checkout inspection.
Refundable Security Deposit: A $300 refundable security deposit is required and will be `held` or `authorized` (not `charged`) by Chicago Hospitality Club on your card. Any property damage or extra charges may be deducted from the deposit. VRBO collects platform payments/charges separately, while Chicago Hospitality Club handles the deposit, so seeing both on your statement is normal. The deposit is automatically released 3-7 days after checkout.
Refund Processing Policy In the event of a guest-initiated cancellation, any bank fees or payment processing charges incurred will be the responsibility of the guest and will be deducted from the refund amount.

We had a very nice stay at this property. It is comfortable and quiet. The location is great. Museums, restaurants, and The L are all close by. We walked to most locations. There were 3 of us, myself, my wife and my teenage daughter. Enough room for all to be comfortable.

Stayed 2 nights with a group of friends/customers for our holiday party. There was enough room for all of us to work with great Wi-Fi! AMAZING location to walk to a ton of local restaurants & conveniences - but also very easy to Uber anywhere!

Perfect place for a perfect weekend!
Myself and 7 friends were coming into Chicago to celebrate my birthday. This property was perfect!!! Had very comfortable beds, a full kitchen, two bathrooms, outdoor area, and plenty of room for all of us. Felt very safe in the area and especially in the building as there was multiple locks to get up to our room that we could access by a simple tap on our phone. The hosts were extremely kind, responsive, and transparent. My friends and I had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!!

Overpriced for what it was. The space was uncomfortable. There were no shades on the windows and right next to the elevator which was extremely loud. The door did not close to the street so security was a concern the entire stay. Sadly, this was an unpleasant stay.

Freshmen year family trip—Chicago Loop
We recently had the pleasure of staying at JW & Mary's property in the Chicago Loop while enrolling our baby boy at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). This property was the perfect choice for our family of six, spanning three generations. It comfortably accommodated all of us with plenty of space, making our stay both enjoyable and relaxing.
The convenience of the location cannot be overstated. Being in the heart of the Loop, we had easy access to various attractions, restaurants, and, importantly, SAIC itself. It really made travel plans effortless and allowed us to spend more quality time together as a family.
One of the highlights was the wonderful attached patio. It provided a serene escape from the bustling city, allowing us to sit together and enjoy our morning coffees while soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. Whether it was a morning chat or an evening wind-down, the patio enhanced our experience, offering a perfect blend of comfort and relaxation.
Overall, JW & Mary's property exceeded our expectations. The hospitality was warm, and we left with happy memories and a great appreciation for both the property and the surrounding community. If you're traveling to Chicago with a larger group, I highly recommend this property—it truly is a gem in the heart of the city!
