Heavenly Escape into the Forest-Tiny Home #2 at Allen Acres Resort

Welcome to the Krazy Kalf cabin-unique lodging in a beautiful, East Texas forest. Truly a Heavenly Escape!! Rich in history on the old Dallas-Shreveport Rd, the relaxed vibe will take you away from the hustle & bustle! This serene, enchanted cabin is your perfect getaway for romance or shopping at 1st Monday in Canton. The decor is artsy and bright. Come sip on a cup of coffee or glass wine on the beautiful wrap around porch. Listen to the water cascade on the pond and enjoy farm fresh eggs daily.
The Krazy Kalf is fun & artsy yet extremely cozy! It has bright art work/paintings, faux skin rugs and the coolest 5’ loft with 2 twin beds.. The downstairs bedroom has a queen size memory foam bed, full length mirror and large closet. Directv & Roku on mounted tv, small faux fireplace in a cozy living area. The small kitchenette has old fashioned designed appliances~mini refrigerator, coffee pot and griddle as well as a microwave. The tiled shower has sliding glass doors and a seat. Well lite with beautiful decor and basic toiletries. The outdoor seating on the wrap around porch overlooks the land and pond. There is a bistro table, patio furniture and rocking chairs to sip coffee or glass of wine. The wrap around patio is shared by an adjoined cabin. (see The Lucky Buck cabin for more details). Great for larger parties and both can be booked together (If available). The cabin is completely private and has its own entrance. The wrap around patio and fire pit areas are communal. There is also a stone seating area in the woods that is lite up with strung lights. There you will find relaxing chairs, hammock (if weather permits), firewood and nature that is absolutely breathtaking! Also, depending on the time of year, there are outdoor games available~Giant Jenga & Corn Hole toss. ***Other things to note~The land and trees are breathtaking but with that we sometimes encounter pesky critters or as we say in Texas-“varmints!” While we work extremely hard to keep critters away, please be prepared for nature. We don’t refund for bugs or critters unless we fail to provide a timely resolution. We are just a call or text away. ***Also the beautiful land and terrain can be hilly and uneven. Tennis shoes or boots are highly recommended! No fishing allowed and please do not venture past the gates. While we are completely fenced, (guineas & chickens) may fly over the fencing but will eventually fly back. They are incredibly fun to watch! We do supply ear plugs and sound machines if you do not wish to hear the sounds of nature. Check you vehicle before you head out. Our feathered friends like to go on adventures and will want to go home with you.😂.
