We loved this cozy apt! The seating area was comfortable and nice to have the washer/dryer handy. Our host was attentive, friendly and helpful while respecting our privacy. It was a perfect location, lovely bayview & close to everything. I would stay there again iin a heartbeat!

Great Host Great Location

Very close location to the Old Port, super easy to grab an uber and get into town hassle free. Host's are very nice and keep this space very clean and well setup for guests. Would stay again!

We loved our time in Portland, Maine. This property was perfect for us. We rented a car for the week and this location and the parking spot was perfect. Beth really cares about her guests and made everything easy with all of her little notes and the check in and check out was a breeze. Amazing hidden gem

This is our second time visiting. The place is wonderful. It is walkable to the water, which is relaxing. And Portland is the best. What a lovely gem of a place. We will be back again! Love the personal touches- chocolates, hand written notes... so thoughtful!

Perfection!

We loved our brief stay in Portland. Beth answered all our questions, gave us recommendations for restaurants, walks, transportation, and so much more. She truly exemplifies a great VRBO host. The apartment is cozy, yet spacious. Beth and Obie provided, milk, oj, coffee, bedtime chocolates. Wonderfully equipped kitchen, comfy bed, plenty of towels. In other words, perfect in every way.

Excellent apartment near Back Cove

We had a delightful stay in Beth’s super clean and well setup apartment. It was located just a block from Back Cove providing good walking opportunities. It is about 2 miles from downtown Portland, but we didn’t have any problems driving in and parking for everything we wanted to do. Kitchen is well equipped. Comfortable living room seating. King bed was great. If I had to search for a negative, did not love the washer dryer combo. Everything else was perfect.

A perfect weekend in Portland

Beth and Obie are amazing host’s. Every item in their downstairs quarters is thoughtful, top quality, and perfect. From the pitcher of tea in the fridge to the blackout blinds in the bedroom. Back Cove Comfort

This was our first visit to Portland and we couldn't have chosen a more comfortable place to stay. Beth and Obie were the quintessential hosts: kind, welcoming, professional, and communicative. They love Portland and went above and beyond to ensure that our vacation was enjoyable, even leaving us a gift card for two Morning Buns at the Standard Baking Company! Their apartment was located just outside the city center in a quiet neighborhood within a 5-10 minute walk of coffee shops and restaurants, and a 5-minute drive to the Hannaford Supermarket. Having safe, off-street parking was a unique perk, as was the ability to relax outside on the patio with a view of Back Bay. The apartment was spacious with lots of attention to essential details, such as a fully-equipped kitchen, well-appointed bathroom, state-of-the-art appliances, and beautiful gas fireplace as a focal point. While the Old Port was only a 10-minute drive away, we were grateful to leave the hectic downtown for a place where we could truly rest after the day's adventures. While this may have been our first trip to Portland, it certainly won't be our last and we look forward to staying with Beth and Obie on a return visit!
