Classic Maine home in quiet tree-lined street neighborhood with fenced in yard
Classic home only 10 minutes from the Old Port with all the famed Portland eateries. Home provides privacy with a deck in a fenced in yard and a Weber grill. Recently remodeled kitchen and new bathroom with a laundry on the first floor. Sidewalks for walkers, runner and pups. Just steps away from Portland Trails. Close by grocery store, Starbucks, drugstore and bookstore. High speed wifi and new printer available.
Pleasant neighborhood, very well equipped house, comfortable beds and a big plus was having bedding and towels that were not washed in scented products.
This was a great stat! Very comfortable home with higher end touches- nice shower, comfortable bed, quality linens, all clad cookware! AllMade for a very comfortable stay and super close to downtown Portland.
Very well appointed house in the North Deering neighborhood of Portland. The supply of bottled water, coffee and tea, new Keurig, and other amenities were appreciated. The house was immaculate. Highly recommended.
Very clean, great communication with the host. There were many amenities that were provided that was not expected. Very accommodating and plan to return in future
We really enjoyed staying at Kevinâs place. The house has everything you need to feel at home away from home. My elderly mom really appreciated the recliner sofas and large screen tv. The bathrooms and kitchen have been recently updated. The beds and linens were comfortable. The only thing the property needs is a little more attention given to the outside. Overall, we liked staying there and would return. Thank you Kevin!
Renovated home, just the right size for myself and one visitor at a time. Enjoyed snowshoeing that owner facilitated. House was very well stocked with supplies and towels. Owner responded quickly to any concern.
There were two couples that stayed at this property. Overall the consensus was good. The inside of the property was in good condition and decorated nicely. There were some smells throughout the house that were unpleasing. The listing said that the property sleeps four. What the listing doesn't show is the beds in each of the two rooms. The master has a queen size bed. The second room has only a full size mattress. One of the guests slept on the couch the entire stay as the mattress didn't fit two adults. The proximity to downtown was a strong feature. Fifteen minutes from door to the port.
We loved our nearly 2 month stay in this cozy, clean, well stocked home with many amenities, including a large screen television, comfy furniture, well appointed kitchen, and a lovely 4 season porch. Kevinâs hospitality went above and beyond (including clearing lots of snow). The location is ideal for enjoying all Portland has to offer.
We travel to Maine frequently to spend time with parents and family. Once or twice a year we travel with our two Old English Sheepdogs to spend two weeks. This was the perfect home. It was large breed friendly and had a fenced in yard. The home was warm, cozy and comfortable. The neighborhood was very friendly. The host was amazing to work with. We will definitely stay here again!
The house was perfect, cozy comfortable and clean. I stayed with my husband and my parents, and it was great. Lots of personal touches in design and comforts. Would definitely recommend!!
Everything was as advertised if not better. Very clean and well maintained. Convenient to all things Portland and situated in a quiet neighborhood. Weâll be sure to book the next time we visit.
We stayed at Kevinâs place before driving to Northern Maine to visit family. The house was perfect for my husband, 3 year old son & I. We had everything we needed & the location was convenient from the airport, to get on the freeways & the grocery store was within 15 min.
We had an issue the first evening with the oven & microwave not having any power- Kevin & his partner Minnie came right over & fixed it.
We definitely will stay with Kevin again, if we visit Portland. Donât hesitate to book!
This property has so much potential but had a few âEWâ factors. Everything was so overgrown in the front, side and back. It was very weird and the morning we were leaving someone was there working on it and struggling. It wouldâve been nice to enjoy the outdoor part and have someone there to remove the overgrowth before we arrived. Also, very strange there were old rusted shovels, siths and other outdoor equipment on the garage roof and was a strange eyesore for the deck as well. The house also had a very overpowering cleaning smell the entire time which was weird because it wasnât very clean. Hair all over the bathrooms and crusty bathroom rugs. Thereâs also a weird opening from the master bedroom wall to the living room where you can hear everything and it was caked with dust. So many spider webs on the inside and spiders that it makes me wonder if itâs kept up. There was also a HUGE hole on the side of the house like 5 ft by 3ft by the overgrown plants prime for animals and bugs. Also, a little worried about the boards over the attic window from the outside. I wouldnât stay here again unless a lot of things were changed.
We had a great stay here. We have two older pups and they loved the close by trail the fenced in yard and sunning on the back porch. The place was super clean and comfortable. Love the master bathroom and kitchen. Walking into the mud room was beautiful with all the wood. A short drive to the old port it was just out of the way enough to be quiet and homey.
