à propos de cet hébergement
The Clintonville Casita | Walkable & Inspiring
â Featured on CondĂ© Nast's best of Columbus list, May 2025
âïž Unique 1930s home with elements of Spanish Revival architecture
âïž Two bedrooms on main level (minimal steps); one queen bed (with en suite) and one full bed
âïž Personally curated artwork, collected and handmade by the owner
âïž Private driveway and off-street parking; EV charging w/ Tesla adapter
âïž Central Clintonville location; walk to Weiland's grocery in 10 mins, Starbucks (High St.) in 11 mins, and more restaurants in 15 mins
Dramatic dark woodwork and crown molding. High ceilings and exposed beams. Cedar closets and sparkling glass doorknobs. Original leaded glass windows and a trio of French doors opening up to the front paver patio.
Outdoors: the private driveway leads to a parking area with room to turn around. Two cars can park without blocking the driveway. Enjoy the use of the EV charger: 240V, 32 Amp, Level 2 Charging Station with 20ft J1772 Cable & NEMA 14-50 Plug and Tesla Adapter. Guests will not have access to the garage. At the front of the house, enjoy a large outdoor patio on the top of the hill, a perfect spot for your morning coffee. The back yard is spacious and has grass, but is not fully fenced.
Main level: Minimal steps - only two small steps are required to enter the home from the driveway. The main level has the kitchen, dining room, living room, access to the front patio, and two bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a queen bed, with a stunning newly-built en suite bathroom with walk-in shower; the second bedroom has a full bed and is next to the hallway bathroom (which has a tub). Additional guests can sleep on the sofa bed (living room) and on an air mattress. Maximum occupancy: 6 guests.
Lower level (basement): Laundry room is available to guests. Part of the basement will be closed off (basement renovations are being planned).
Guests will have private access to the entire home, except for one small supply storage closet and the detached garage at the end of the driveway.
We usually don't meet our guests in person, but we live nearby and can be available if needed!
About the area: In leafy, residential Clintonville, laid-back cafes, gastropubs, and indie shops selling records and locally made crafts are clustered on N. High Street and Indianola Avenue. A paved bike trail, winding along the Olentangy River through several parks, connects to Downtown Columbus and northern suburbs. The Park of Roses features thousands of rose bushes, plus herb and perennial flower gardens.
This is a pet-friendly listing and is not recommended for guests with severe pet allergies.
No cable TV is provided; both TVs have the capability to use your own streaming accounts.
