Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear you left feeling disappointed, and we’d like to clarify a few important points regarding your stay. Our records confirm that our maintenance technician did stop by the unit during your stay, though it appears you were not present at the time. He investigated the ceiling fan issue and looked for the remote, which he was unable to locate—but we’re glad to hear you were ultimately able to find it and get it working. We also want to note that, once we were made aware of the bathroom outlet issue, we contacted a licensed electrician to inspect it. Because the repair involved more extensive electrical work and associated costs, it required owner approval. That approval has since been granted and the issue is now resolved. Regarding the fire extinguisher, sliding glass door, pull-out sofa, and other furniture concerns—you did not report these to us during your stay, and we have reviewed all correspondence to confirm that. Had we been made aware, we would have asked our technician to address them while he was on-site. While we understand your frustration, we want to assure you that we take all guest feedback seriously and work hard to respond to issues promptly. We're truly sorry your experience didn't reflect that, and we appreciate your input, which helps us continue improving.

We are glad we were able to get the sofa linens to you promptly. The sofa bed counts as a bed, so that is why it is considered to sleep 6. Unfortunately, we (Seashore Vacations) do not manage the unit next door so we cannot control what is going on over there. We will investigate though, because nobody is supposed to be doing loud renovations on the island during the summer months. As for the household items... On the reservation that is sent out to guests, we have written what is provided under the "Provided Supplies" line. In that line we say "Seashore provides linens and bath towels. Beach chairs and beach towels are not provided but can be rented through our partner VayK Life. Small Starter Supplies are included (1 roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 pack of detergent for washer and dishwasher." Also, we apologize that you were charged so many fees however, we technically are not a "VRBO." We are a local rental company that does advertising on VRBO and do not know or have control over what taxes, fees, or any extra charges that VRBO adds on. Our rate is the rate posted. We do not receive any of the other taxes or fees.
