Awesome Stay

We absolutely loved this condo and it was just as pictured. We comfortably slept 5 of us and the condo had great amenities. We loved that there were beach chairs, boogie boards, a beach umbrella, and a cooler available. That was awesome! The only issue is the drive to activities in Kona. It's a bit far but worth it! We loved everything, especially the pool area and elevator for lugging luggage up and down. It was an excellent experience!

Amazing!!

We absolutely loved staying at Fairway Village and have no complaints except for the parking situation. Since there was no designated parking space, we often found it difficult to find a visitor spot. There were several days where contractors took the majority of the available spots. Other than that, we loved the accommodations. The pool was really nice and the apartment itself was very cozy and comfortable.

First time in the big island

Our stay was fantastic, the property is well maintained, our kids loved the pool. Location was pretty central to everything, but you need a car. The only downside is there were a lot of little cockroaches running around the kitchen area, which is somewhat expected in tropical destinations.

Sunsets in Paradise

We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the unit and how well stocked the kitchen was; everything we needed to cook all our meals for a week long stay! So thankful for plenty box fans and ceiling fans to keep the air flowing and provide white noise for our night times! We used the beach chairs, beach towels, and small coolers extensively! The lanai space was so comfortable and perfect for morning coffee, and a big couch for all of us to relax with a movie every night! Nice big master bathroom with so much counter space, and extremely comfortable bed! One suggestion: just a few more dish towels please! Would DEFINITELY return!!

Questionable Description

I had a great time on the Big Island! I suggest you place the condo location on the map as your pictures suggested a view next to the pool. This was inaccurate as the condo was located at the far end of the property. Excessive wear in the Condo. You may want to find another property manager that pays attention to detail. Lastly, when you have guest arriving you may want to turn on the ac and have the condo cool as opposed to 85 degrees coupled with high humidity. Two star rating.

Stayed April 18th-24tj

We are from the Midwest and I would compare this condo (I-31) to a Holiday Inn. It was great for what we needed, and had everything we needed for our satay and great for the cost. If your looking for a highend cando at this price you will not be happy. This is not a highend condo. This is a nice, clean place to stay. We stayed with 4 adults and two kids. 8 and 10. They used the beds upstairs and they very much enjoyed having there own area. They likes the beds and they felt they were comfortable but an adult would not find them comfortable. There is nothing majorly wrong with this place everything worked as it should, and was clean. Like I said this is not a high end rental so don't expect that from what your paying. But it's a great place to sleep and a great location. We made many meals here and they had everything we needed to do so.

StayCation

Great Location behind Kings Mall. My husband and I had our place all to ourselves since our friends cancelled and could not come along. Quite big for the two of us, but extremely comfortable. Be sure to check parking spots that they aren't reserved in Red. We ended up in a stall that had fall out from the tree covering the reserve on the ground, plus the painted Reserved was very very faint. Not a good way to start the trip being in the wrong parking spot. Management was very helpful in getting in touch with me to move the car. So sorry, and was very careful the rest of the trip. Lots of shops and places to eat near by, easy to go to the beach and tour around the island. Perfect spot.

We loved the location; check in process of was. The inside of unit needs some TLC. Our sheets in Master looked like they had been slept in.. long black hair,etc. Pillow cases on King pillows, but none on 2 standard. No wash clothes in Master bath; no trash can. Floors looked dirty; hasnto Swifter them right away. Dishes were Hodge Podge, like they were bought at Thrift store. TV in Guest bedroom didn't work; no TV in Master bedroom. This was probably the worst VRBO we have ever stayed in as far as furnsihings & cleanliness. Plus, we had to wash all towels per instructions. Beach chairs & beach towels were good though.

Another great stay in Waikoloa VIllage

Excellent apartment, with a few minor issues when we arrived: the kitchen was a bit dirty, the coffeemaker had old moldy coffee grounds, and both toilets were stopped up. No callback from the onsite representative for 2 days. We cleaned up the coffeemaker and seriously plunged the toilets, and from then on our stay was more than wonderful!

Sadly not as nice as we thought..

The condo is a combination of deferred maintenance and a horrible cleaning service. It could be a lovely unit but due to the dirt everywhere it is not. Our vacation was definitely spoiled by the condition of the condo. The property manager tried to correct the problem but even after the cleaning service came back the dirt remained. While kind of her to refund our cleaning deposit we were still I’ll at ease staying there a week. Several walls had black scratches, toilet doors/doorways were dirty and the shower was not clean with its mildew. The refrigerator still had egg drippings on the door. While we only used 1 bedroom the upstairs loft bedroom carpet has terrible spots and a foul smell. All in all it was pretty disgusting. Definitely not a place anyone would want to stay.

Family vacation 2024

The condo was great for our family of 4 and pretty much had everything we needed for our trip. The condo is a little worn and could use some fresh interior paint and a really deep clean and organize in the kitchen. King bed was comfortable due to a thick topper but the other beds could use some upgrades. Loft carpet needs o be replaced as well. It was great to have the coolers available for use. Pool area was nice, location was great and super convenient to everything. Only one beach chair was usable so we ended up having to rent a couple for the week but having the beach towels was appreciated. Overall we thought it was an excellent value and the sunsets from the lanai were perfect!

Family Fun

Great location, great views and comfortable for a week long stay with family. Kitchen was well equipped and even had a coffee grinder to grind fresh Kona coffee. Love the pool and grill area. The loft for the kids was great! One item I would ask for would be a few more beach chairs, although there is a surf shop in the Kings Shopping Center where you can rent them. Walk or drive to beach and cocktails a Lava Lava. Would absolutely stay there again. Mahalo!

Sunsets from the 3rd floors- can’t beat that

So, we’ve stayed at Fairway Villas countless times. We enjoy the location, the sunsets, Lava Lava, just across the street. What was new this time? A remote corner unit in the 3rd floor, with a lanai that showcases sunsets every night. Nothing mo’bettah than a cocktails on the lanai as the sun sets and the birds serenade the night. The unit was well appointed, full size washer and dryer, most everything you need to spend time chilling. The host was extremely responsive prior to arrival. No hassles with check in. Fairways Villas is our go to place and I’m sure this unit will be on our list for future visits

Well kept property exceeding expectations

The the property was well maintained, clean, and had exceeded our expectations. The AC worked very well and the master and secondary beds were very comfortable. The two minor complaints we had are that the loft beds should be upgraded to more comfortable beds and it would a nice upgrade to use a a digital key for the front door lock. Other than that it was a great place to stay for a family of five.

Another great stay

Loved staying in this condo! We come every year. This condo has the best field. You can even see the ocean. It was so quiet. There weren’t a lot of rentals at the time in our condo we were staying at. The pool as usual is perfect we will be looking for this condo next year. Thank you so much for a great stay how could you ever have a bad day in Hawaii.

Beautiful condo

Loved it, super spacious, clean and easy check in and out. Location was far from other cities which made a lot of driving when we wanted to go to Kona.

Great location and well stocked condo

We liked a lot about this spacious condo. The location is great
walking distance to great beach, shops and a lovely view across the golf course. Includes coolers, boards, beach chairs etc and a well stocked kitchen. The condo is getting a little worn which we can deal with. The carpets however were unacceptably dirty with staining everywhere. We really didn’t want to walk barefoot on them. Please clean them or replace with hard floors. That was most disappointing. Otherwise it was clean. The queen bed is quite hard which might appeal to some people. The king bed had a topper which helped.
