À propos de cet hébergement
Where the Moon Glows & Peace Grows -Moonshine Meadows
Welcome to Moonshine Meadows, your Wears Valley sanctuary (a luxury mountain cabin where Southern Appalachia meets upscale serenity). Surrounded by the rolling hills of the Smokies, this hideaway offers beautiful views, peaceful surroundings, and all the cabin comforts you need to make you feel home.
Tucked between the charm of Townsend and the buzz of Pigeon Forge, this area is pure Smoky Mountain gold. This luxe Wears Valley cabin is made for families and friends who love nature, need a break and are ready for Smoky Mountain adventures. Even better, it comes with a membership to the beautiful Olympic size pool and fishing pond walking distance from the cabin or a short drive down the road.
The cabin feels like a perfect blend of rugged mountain beauty and rustic luxury - a place where you can feel connected to the land and still have every comfort needed for relaxation and rejuvenation.
The front porch stretches across the cabin, lined with rocking chairs, perfect for enjoying the cool mountain breezes that drift down and evening sunsets. The cabin is nestled on the edge of a gentle hillside with a view of the lush valley and the mountain called Roundtop.
Inside, the cabin exudes a welcoming, cozy vibe. The main living area is open and airy, with a vaulted ceiling supported by timber beams. A stone fireplace anchors the room with comfortable chairs and a plush sofa arranged in front, creating the perfect setting for relaxing with a good book, enjoying the warmth of the fire after a long day of hiking or watching a good movie on the large flat screen TV.
Gleaming granite countertops stretch across the adjacent kitchen offering plenty of space for meal prep and a convenient coffee station. The space opens into a dining area centered around a stunning log dining table perfect for creative family dinners, holiday feasts, or casual breakfasts with friends where the smell of pancakes and coffee lingers in the air.
Sleep comes easy here. After you have soaked in the wild. you can sleep in the plush. Both bedrooms feel like a sanctuary, a retreat that combines rustic charm with luxurious comfort. The centerpiece in each bedroom is a stunning log bed, handcrafted from thick, polished logs that retain their natural curves and knots, showcasing the beauty of the wood. The king bed frames are large, yet warm and inviting, with an intricate design that hints at craftsmanship and attention to detail. The bedding is a mix of rich, earthy tones - deep browns, warm creams, and forest greens- that echo the natural surroundings outside. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom and a porch door that opens out to the fresh mountain air and morning sunshine. For extra guests, the living room has a queen size sofa bed (and a porch door too).
Because the kids deserve their own slice of heaven (adults too), on the lower level of the cabin is a fantastic game room complete with a pool table, air hockey, foosball, and an arcade game. Step into the garage and enjoy a playful game of ping pong. (Photos coming soon.)
A wooden deck stretches out from the back of the house bordered by a railing and partially shaded by an overhead roof. On one side, a sturdy gas grill sits near the railing just a few steps away from a lovely outdoor dining table with matching chairs and cushioned seats perfect for leisurely outdoor meals. On the other side, a bubbling hot tub invites you in with steam curling into the crisp mountain air.
In the picnic mood? A picnic table, set beneath the open sky and partial shade of the trees - can be the center of your families' al fresco meal. Set a checkered tablecloth and serve your favorite fresh, grilled veggies, juicy burgers, fruit salad, and homemade pie.
At the base of the property, a gently flowing spring-fed creek trickles beneath a canopy of leafy trees. A weathered wooden picnic table sits just a few feet from it - a perfect spot for a quiet moment or a spontaneous sketching session.
Love the name—Moonshine Meadows? It brings up memories of the very local Appalachian history where mountain distillers fired up their stills in the peaceful, lush fields under the cover of darkness—hence the name moonshine, because it was often made by the light of the moon. Today you can still enjoy the backwoods, but the shine is just down the road 2 miles at the local distillery.
Bring your friends and family to Moonshine Meadows for: dancing fireflies, starry nights, a little magic and a lot of comfort!
Day driving trips through Cades Cove, to Kuwohi (Formerly Clingmans Dome), around the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail, to the Mountain Farm Museum & Mingus Mill near Cherokee or on the Tail of the Dragon always make fun & enjoyable outings. The entrance to the new scenic Wears Valley/Walland section of the Foothills Parkway which took over 50 years to complete is located just 2 miles from Moonshine Meadows.
For local dining near the cabin, some favorites are: Grandmother’s Kitchen, Elvira’s Café, Pawpaw’s Cajun Kitchen, Sloppy Hog Burger Joint, and the Wear Valley Social Food Truck Park.

À propos du quartier
Sevierville
