This elegantly furnished, fully air conditioned (entire new air conditioning system installed in September 2019), very spacious 2 bedroom apartment, is in the exclusive development of Quinta das Palmeiras. It has just been redecorated internally in December 2019, with brand new bedding and linens also. It is within minutes walk of the beautiful historic old town of Lagos (it is a flat walk to all parts of the town - no hills); the stunning marina; the beach and all the amenities of Lagos. It contains a fully equipped separate kitchen; free wifi in the apartment; a large lounge/dining room with seating for 6, satellite TV/DVD, and an integrated sound system throughout the apartment. A spacious terrace leads off both the kitchen and lounge, furnished with table and 6 chairs for alfresco dining. The master bedroom has a double bed, en-suite bathroom and private balcony. The second bedroom has twin beds, and there is a further shower room. A cot is also available. Given the central location of the apartment, a car is not essential. The complex has lifts, an indoor heated pool, jacuzzi and gym, plus an outdoor pool with large sun terraces. The location and facilities have given us a number of guests returning again and again!

Chilled out stay!

Everything on this holiday was so easy. The apartment was perfect for a relaxing week in Lagos. Everything in it felt new and it is very comfortable. A great place to stay if you're looking for a place near to the centre - we walked everywhere. Will be back!

Excellent apartment in excellent location

We enjoyed a thoroughly good week's holiday in this fully equipped apartment. It's so convenient to everything Lagos has to offer. Carla was most helpful on arrival. The apartment is very spacious with a lovely balcony. Lagos is a lovely town with many great restaurants and good beaches. We will definitely be back!

Perfect

We had an amazing stay in Portugal, right from enquiry Molina was attentive and quick to respond and accommodating. The apartment is perfect for a family holiday - it is spacious and has everything you need and more - even down to a coffee maker - it's like home from home. The location is perfect - far enough away but close enough with a five minute walk into Lagos which has lovely restaurants and beaches. There is also a supermarket within walking distance. Thank you Monina we will return - you helped make our holiday seamless.

Great apartment

We have spent a wonderful vacation in this apartment. The flat looks even much better than on the photos - it is really luxuriously designed, everything was new and very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped, it was a pleasure to cook there. Location is perfect - beach is not far away, food store is very close, bars and restaurants are 5 minutes from the place. However, we never ate out, as it was very convenient to cook and pleasant to stay at home. We can recommend it to everyone who is looking for an ideal place for families or groups of friends. If we go back to Lagos, we will stay only in this apartment.

lovely,quite apartment

Nice large apartment in a quite location.Everything about apartment and complex as described.10 min.stroll to the centre where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from.The marina even nearer. If you decide to eat in,kitchen is fully equipped. Supermarket a 2 min walk,with a Lidl's a bit further up the road. We had hired a car and there was no problem parking.If you wanted to use a bus from Faro airport,the bus station was 5 minutes away. Would recommend to family and friends,and we hope to return one day.

Girls in Lagos

We had a one weeks stay in this lovely apartment. It is in a good location just outside of town so nice and quiet but in easy reach of all the necessary facilities. We are a group of girls and felt very safe in this area and also in the accommodation. The apartment is spotlessly clean. Monina the owner was fab with her communication before our stay, as was the service received from Carla who met us with the keys. I would recommend this apartment and encourage use of the information provided from previous guests with tips on where to eat. We were not disappointed with any of the restaurants we tried. A lovely break in lovely Lagos.

Modern and Comfy Well-Located Lagos Apartment

My wife and I wanted a short break in a nicely appointed apartment close to the restaurants and amenitities in Lagos for a post-Christmas break. We were very impressed with the apartment as it was exactly as described online. It was easy to find and the arrival briefing by Carla was both helpful and thorough. Parking was easy and there were supermarkets very close by. The apartment is smart, modern, well-equipped and spotlessly clean. We were close to the marina and it was a pleasant 10 minute walk to the Old Town where there were numerous restaurants to cater for most tastes. We particularly liked 'No Patio' for its charm and friendliness let alone the high quality food. All in all, we would definitely return.

Fabulous!

I had a great stay at this fabulous apartment - ideally situated in town and close to the cosmopolitan marina with its array of bars and restaurants, behind it Meia Praia beach. Also close to the train and bus station, so no car necessary. There is a good supermarket just a 2 minute walk away for those all important provisions. There is also a great cafe/bar about 1 minute away which serves excellent and inexpensive food. The apartment is immaculately and stylishly furnished with quality furnishings and is spotlessly clean. There is everything you would possibly need available here. The apartment is spacious, light and airy. The manager is also very helpful and friendly. I loved it so much I have booked again for mid April, I can categorically recommend this apartment.

Appartement confortable et bien équipé à proximité de tous les loisirs et commodités.

Appartement confortable, bien équipé et situé dans un immeuble récent à proximité immédiate de la Marina, des supermarchés et du marché des petits producteurs ( uniquement le samedi matin) un seul bémol : toutes les chaines TV sont en anglais, tant pis pour les francophones; la ville est à 10 minutes à pied et la plage à 20 minutes toujours à pied. Lagos est une petite ville très sympa dotée de quantités de restaurants , pâtisseries et bar, nombreuses randonnées à pied aussi bien en bord de mer que dans l'arrière pays. Vacances vraiment réussies.Attention paiement uniquement en livres sterling ( frais de change).

I am so glad you enjoyed your stay. With regard to the extra fee - that is because you paid via the website, and not only do they charge you a booking fee, they also convert your euros to sterling. I am able to accept euro payments direct into my euro account if that is required. Have a great summer :) Je suis tellement content que vous ayez apprécié votre séjour. En ce qui concerne les frais supplémentaires - c'est parce que vous avez payé via le site Web, et non seulement ils vous facturent des frais de réservation, ils transmettent également vos euros en livres sterling. Good location/spacious apartment

Monina a very pleasant and attentive host. Modern apartment and condominium in a quiet location but within easy walking distance of marina area and “old town”. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great Apartment in Lagos

Communication with Monina the owner was excellent right from the initial contact. The apartment manager was also very easy to communicate with. The apartment was exactly as described, and was also very clean! We enjoyed sitting on the balcony for some breakfast in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. The view is not great, just the road and another apartment building across the street - but we still enjoyed being able to sit outside. The apartment was very spacious, great for us as we were 2 couples travelling together. We enjoyed the location - a quick walk to everything. We especially enjoyed being close to "old town Lagos". Would not hesitate to recommend staying here!

Spacious apartment close to centre

Overall were enjoyed our stay in the apartment. I have listed positives and challenges below. I am guessing some of the challenges is because owner has had property up for sale since Oct18 and doesn't want to spend on replacing items.. Positives: - very spacious - close to town - close to Pingo supermarket - nice pools, Jacuzzi and small gym Challenges: - Air conditioning still not working (mentioned in May19 review) blows warm air only. This meant we're had to leave windows open at night, which then is noisy due to proximity to town and building work opposite. - beds uncomfortable. I am guessing they are old now and need replacing, -underground car park very narrow and tricky to get in and out.. - some bulbs in kitchen blown and had not been replaced

Decent location, run down, poorly kept

Overall we enjoyed our stay, however the AC didn’t work, and it was dirty, we had to reclean every dish before we used it, anything with metal was rusty, and there was mildew in the shower. And good luck if you want to use the underground parking - it’s a disaster to get in and out of there!

I am so disappointed to read your comments. I have only ever received brilliant reviews. I have changed my manager and cleaners in the last couple of weeks so since your stay and therefore these issues should not arise again. However the underground parking can be very difficult to get out of but there is plenty of parking available in the quiet side roads as I had recommended when you had asked me. I don’t know what metal you mean that could have been rusty as it is quite a new apartment? The dishes will have been cleaned by the previous guests and checked by the cleaners before your stay so I don’t know why you would have found anything dirty. Did you contact my manager with your complaints? She would have shown you how to use the AC if you were finding it problematic. She was always available to all my guests and will resolve any issues immediately as is my new manager.

Excellent accomodation and location.

The instructions before-hand from Monina and welcome by Carla on arrival were clear and friendly. The apartment and complex were clean with everything you should need. The location was brilliant, with the onsite gym and pools, plus a bar / cafe and a good restaurant both on the ground floor of the apartment block. The nearest supermarket is within 100m, with a couple of others nearby. The marina is just a couple of hundred meters away with a selection of bars and restaurants. The town centre and nearest beaches are all within easy walking distance, with the town having a number of excellent restaurants. The apartment is quite spacious and our family of four found having two bathrooms a bonus when getting ready. The balconies also give the option to sit quietly in the sun in the mornings without having to leave the apartment. All round an excellent base for a great holiday, thanks.

Spacious apartment, well located

The apartment was well located with easy walking distance to the marina and the historical downtown Lagos. It was well maintained and has plenty of room for two couples. Grocery store was nearby and we would recommend the restaurant Bransons which is on the main floor of the apartment building.

Lagos Apartment Stay

This property has everything you could want - it's situated in an excellent location near to shops, restaurants, pubs, marina, bus and train terminals. (There are lots of nearby places to explore - Silves, Portamaeo, Sagres, Alvor to name but a few). The apartment is well decorated, beds are really comfortable and it was useful having two bathrooms. The lounge /diner area is lovely and the kitchen has everything you could need, including washing machine, fridge, cooker, iron, ironing-board, etc. The apartment complex has its own gym and indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Keypad entry into block assures security. Really enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend.

Great apartment in fantastic resort

This was our second stay in this ideally located and beautifully furnished property. We were met punctually by Carla (owners rep. in Lagos ) who was most helpful. This is a quiet area of town but closely located to supermarkets, beach, pubs and restaurants. If you have a car ( not really necessary ) several beaches are within 15-20 mins. drive from the apt. Would recommend Salema and Borgaus. The local beach is great but these are a little quieter. Great restaurants everywhere -would recommend Quay Lagos at the marina and Orangery,o'Henrique, Casa de Prego and o'Mexilhao in the old town. Louis and McCabes pubs are good and about 5 mins. walk away. We had a great time in a beautiful resort and a very comfortable apt. Look forward to returning soon and hopefully to this property. P.S. If you have a car would suggest you park it around the complex area as the facility's underground parking is very cramped.

Fab location

Lovely property set in a quiet location where everything you need is in walking distance. All bars, restaurants and beaches are within 10 to 15 mins walk which means you they are easily accessible without needing a taxi but still get the quiet location so you can quietly relax by the pool or on the balcony if you prefer a more relaxing holiday. Rooms were spacious and well maintained with a modern look. Couldnt fault anything about them. Would definitely reccommend this property and return another year.

We have 3 daughters, and as a family love to travel. Lagos is such a beautiful town, with everything a family could need. I also like to go there with my partner and friends, and enjoy the restaurants and bars when we get the chance!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We wanted somewhere where a car was not necessary. Our apartment is perfectly situated, within a short walking distance of the marina, beach and old town, right beside cafes and supermarkets, yet on a quiet side street. Perfect!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The balconies get the sun from dawn to late afternoon, so while my teenagers may want to lie in, I can use the gym in the morning, or go for a stroll, picking up a latte from the Cafe Fresco in the complex, or the Pingo Doce store round the corner. Then bring breakfast back to enjoy in the sunshine on our lovely terrace. The ideal way to start a day lazing by the pool, at the beach, or going for a stunning cliff walk.
