Very spacious and accommodating for a big family. Great location. Real close to Smiths grocery store and not far from freeway exit. We really enjoyed our stay here!
Thank you so much for letting us stay in your home. We really loved the place! It was cozy and comfortable! We loved the closeness to the Temple and other attractions in town!
Thanks again!
The house was lovely and quiet and had everything we needed -- great for families and very convenient both for the Shakespeare festival and more prosaic things like the grocery store!
Big enough to house us and our friends with room to grow. House was very clean, furnishings a little dated, but not a problem for us. If you're looking for a home base to tour Cedar City, I highly recommend! Host was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with.
There is a lot of room in this property for sleeping and socializing. The kitchen is well appointed. There is a Smiths one block over for groceries. Two minutes from the freeway, plenty of places to eat, and SUU campus!
We really enjoyed this lovely home. The history of the property is very interesting and we love unique stories. There was so much space and nice big rooms. The neighborhood was very quiet - exactly as advertised. I wish we had been there for a longer stay. Thanks so much!
We have four adult boys and they prefer not to share beds! This was perfect because there were four separate bedrooms and a bunk bed in an open area. There were lots of amenities in the kitchen for making meals. It was very close to the university and restaurants. Thanks so much for a great stay.
We are 6 women doing all 5 canyons this year age ranging from 50 to 79. This house was able to accommodate all of us and our needs.
Clean, easy to get to and great neighborhood.
Thank you for making this easy for us.
House was clean and was exactly what we needed. Kitchen was stocked with pots/pans/silverware paper plates. Fridge was stocked with bottled water. They had pamphlets of maps and things to do in the area. Beds were comfy, and location was great for mountain biking which is what we were in the area to do. Overall a 5 star experience.
My family and I had a great stay at this house. Itâs huge and very cozy with a lot of sleeping places, large kitchen, and comfortable family room. It was stocked with all the amenities we needed, all the beds were very comfortable and the entire house is super clean. Itâs also close to town so if we didnât eat in we walked around to check out the sights. The only possible negative is thereâs no way to watch any livestream apps on the tv. They do have a tv and videos but I just thought I should mention it. We definitely recommend this house and plan to stay again when we come back to town.
The house is big, but older and a little strange. It used to be a care facility so the doors and layout are not what you would see in a standard house. The owner put a bible on the pillow and has a no alcohol policy. Overall, it served our purpose but none of us slept well or wanted to hang out in the house.
My husband and I are thinking of retiring in Cedar City, and we wanted to try working remotely from there for a week. Therefore we needed at least two desks from which we could comfortably work for 8 hours. That's very hard to find in a rental, because most of the places just put in a table and an uncomfortable chair and call it good. But this house has two really good desks and several acceptable desks. Working was no problem!
The internet was very fast but it is an older home so the lack of outlets meant we had to buy extension cords. The location was great -- if we hadn't been trapped indoors by the unusually high temperatures, we could have easily walked to the main shopping area or to the Shakespeare Festival.
The main drawback was that the house has a swamp cooler instead of central air, and that was very loud because it had to be on all the time in order to keep up with the record-breaking heat. It did cool off nicely at night so we could sleep.
Marie was great and the place was spotless when we arrived! The beds were very comfortable too!
If you're looking for a larger home with real workspaces in a quiet neighborhood that's walking distance from lots of stores and restaurants, this is an excellent pick.
Good location for both Bryce and Zion national park. The price is very reasonable. The property manager is very responsive. Loved it and I would stay here again in the future if I am making a trip to Zion.
We loved our stay at this home! Perfect for me, my husband, our three daughters, our married daughter with her husband and 9 month old son AND my mom!!! We all had plenty of room and we didnât even worry about my grandson crawling around because it was so clean!!!
