Amazing

This cabin has amazing views and a short 10 minute trip to the Pigeon Forge parkway. We’ve stayed in many cabins around Pigeon Forge but this was our favorite!! Directions to the cabin were very straightforward and easy. I highly recommend this cabin!

Great cabin

My sons and I loved this cabin. It was well equipped and we loved the location. We saw the fireworks from Dollywood every night at 9 PM. The only slight downside is that you hear the train whistle from Dollywood but it’s not a big deal. We love the cabin and would love to rent again in the future.

Highly Recommend

Beautiful views, day and night! There is some noise from the Dollywood train, but other than that it’s very peaceful. It was a great opportunity to make memories with our kids, and enjoy Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg!

Cozy and Fun

We had a beautiful view and lots of things to do in the cabin. We enjoyed playing pool together, lounging in the hot tub, and taking naps on the couch the most. Everything was inviting. We had a small hiccup with the tv, but maintance quickly fixed it and was very friendly. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will be returning hopefully next year!

Excellent location/great property

I highly recommend everything about this property - from booking to checking out. Communication was awesome. Getting into the cabin was easy and it was spotless. The views were incredible. We emailed maintenance once (hot tub wasn't warming up) and they came over within 5 minutes and fixed it. We were in the hot tub 30 minutes later. Communication about checkout was clear and listed simple things to do before we left (empty trash, turn on dishwasher, and put dirty towels in the tub). We didn't want to leave!! We will be coming back.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay in Afternoon Delight. It’s located on a cul-de-sac so it was relatively quiet with minimal cars driving by. Yes, the Dollywood train is very loud, but we were expecting that. It would not be good for anyone who requires an afternoon nap. The cabin is well stocked. Our two kids loved the pool table, air hockey and arcade. Downstairs bathroom could use a good dusting. Because of the wood log walls, dust easily accumulates, and there’s a thick layer in there. Overall, I would recommend this cabin and we would stay in it again.

Great view, close to everything

The Afternoon Delight cabin had a beautiful view of the mountains, and you could also see Dollywood and the island. We loved that we could see the Dollywood fireworks and drone show, as well as a couple roller coasters. You could hear the sounds from Dollywood - people screaming on roller coasters and the trains going by. We enjoyed this aspect, plus Dollywood doesn't open super early or close super late, so it was not a concern for us. We also loved being close to everything in Pigeon Forge while still having the experience of being in a cabin with a view of nature. Truly a great location! The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed - kitchen utensils, grill utensils, washer/dryer, etc. We also liked the pool table, air hockey, and arcade games (although one joy stick on the arcade game console was sticking/didn't work well). We pretty much used every amenity that was there with the exception of the hot tub, and the only reason we didn't use that was because I'm pregnant and I couldn't, unfortunately. There were just a few constructive pieces of feedback that I would offer for the cabin: #1 cleanliness of the linens. We did not use the bedspread at all because it appeared old and I wasn't sure if it had been laundered. Also, I noticed that one pillow had stains on it which were visible through the creme colored pillow case. It looked like blood, but I did not take the time to investigate further. Lastly, we did find dead flying ants in the bed (or termites, not sure which). I do expect some bugs in a cabin (it seems inevitable), but would just have preferred an overall cleaner bed to sleep in, as this type of thing actually keeps me up at night. #2 - the bathroom in the downstairs bedroom has no place to store your toiletries. The sink vanity is tiny, so our things kept falling into the sink. A simple fix for this would be to hang some shelving. #3 - the rocking chairs on the balconies are just not comfortable. We were looking forward to this, and then barely used them. The swing on the other hand was amazing and we used that a lot! Overall we enjoyed our stay here, the amenities offered, the great view and great location!

Perfect Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Afternoon Delight. The cabin was very homey and the view of the Smoky Mountains were breathtaking. Dollywood was off in the distance and we could hear the train below and if you were lucky you could hear the laughter and the screams from the people on the roller coasters. We can’t wait to return.

Comfy cabin with a view

Cabin is in a great location close to everything but still private. We spent four nights and enjoyed our nights in just as well as our days and nights out. We enjoyed the double decks, the view , the hot tub, and morning coffee from the upper deck. A great space for adults or families. We would definitely return.
