Just minutes from downtown Hiawassee, it offers the ideal blend of privacy and convenience. Adventure awaits! Western NC and North GA abound with opportunities for recreation and relaxation. Set your sights on long-range views with visits to Bell Mountain in Hiawassee (20-minute drive) and Brasstown Bald (highest point in GA, 35-minute drive). Spend the day on Lake Chatuge with a boat or personal watercraft rental from a local marina or launch your own from nearby public access. Want to immerse yourself in nature in the Nantahala National Forest? Bring your mountain bikes and ride the first-class trails at Jackrabbit Mountain (also great for hiking and dog-friendly) less than 5 minutes from the property. Fires Creek Recreation Area (25-minute drive) is another Western NC local favorite for hiking with picturesque views, swimming, and trout fishing. On the GA side, take a 30-minute drive to a waterfall hike via the High Shoals Falls Trail or make the 45-minute drive to Alpine Helen, GA for a taste of Bavaria in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Hungry and thirsty after a day of exploration? Visit the outstanding local restaurants, wineries, and breweries in and around downtown Hayesville and Hiawassee for not-to-be-missed tastes of local flavor.

The main living area features a cozy gas fireplace, large TV, and comfy seating for movie nights or rainy-day lounging. The kitchen comes fully stocked with essentials—including a Keurig, crock pot, blender, and stock pot—perfect for cooking up a hearty post-hike meal.

Downstairs, a quiet landing area includes a sitting nook and a designated workspace with a desk and dual computer monitors—ideal for remote workers or a quick check-in before adventure calls.

There are two "local" airports 1 in Andrews NC and the other in Blairsville GA.
