Property is exactly as depicted and described! Beautiful, clean, well-equipped, secluded and serene! The owners are easy to communicate with and very responsive. We plan to visit here again soon!
The outdoor fireplace and tv area on the screened-in porch is perfect. The firepit right by the river was an amazing setting. The house is well-stocked, spacious, private, and lives comfortably.
Les points faibles : Communication et exactitude de lâannonce
Good until it wasnât
House overall clean just lots of spiders. The river behind the house is nice just can be very dangerous at times with the levels of water rushing. You are expected to call daily to check to see the levels of generating for the river. This will help you gauge if you can even get in. Donât touch the automated blinds to raise or lower because they are faulty and you will be charged if they get stuck. We are out 400 because of the blinds. Just beware
We absolutely loved our stay. Dana was very responsive and friendly. The views of the water are the best we have seen. There was everything we needed and more available which made it a great time (tubes, towels, sticks for marshmallows etc). Plenty of room for 7 of us to not feel crowded and have our own space. My favorite sitting area was the outside patio. We are already hoping to go back next year! Would definitely recommend.
This property was spectacular. Our family enjoyed the serene setting right along the river. Mornings on the porch listening to the water was amazing. There were kayaks and floats to enjoy time on the river! The house itself was clean and beautiful! My boys enjoyed the bunk beds and TV area downstairs. This was a much needed vacation!
Great location very close to grocery store and restaurants. The house and property were very nice and accommodating. Parking my large truck was a little challenging as you have to back down a steep hill if you want to be close to the entry. I got used to it after a few times. Really enjoyed the screened in patio and thatâs where I spent most of my time there.
We really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful. Does show some wear and tear but the view is amazing. The beds are comfortable and the house has everything you need. The road driving up is steep so be prepared. There are some paved areas as well as gravel may not be for faint of heart. We would definitely rent from here again.
We have stayed at this property multiple times as well as others in Hayesville. This is by far and away our favorite. It is perfectly situated, we caught the biggest trout weâve ever caught right in the backyard, and there is plenty of room for our 4 kids (7yrs-17yrs) to have their own space. Thanks, Dana!
The place was just amazingâŠ.inside out! The inside is immaculately clean, organize and accommodate both youngen and young at heart. We plan to see the foliage and this place does not disappoint us.We love it and we are planning to rent this place again this summer! The drive was just challenging at first but after several times of driving the steep road..,my husband felt he can conquer Carolinaâs slopes!
We had a fantastic trip, and will absolutely be back! Only challenge would be if someone struggles with stairs. There are two flights to get from ground level to river levelâhaving a hiking stick handy for the outdoor set of steps would be a great idea since there isnât a handrail there. We had ages 1 to 71, and everyone found what they needed in this home. The screened porch was our favorite spot, especially in the mornings and evenings.
This home is in the sweet spot! Privacy and seclusion with convenience. Very close to parks along the river (Cool Park just down steam) if you want to put in and kayak or tube. Pay attention to the generation schedule and youâre good to go. More than enough Dollar Generals for the basic quick grabs and larger grocery stores like Ingles ten minutes away. The home was clean and well equipped with all we needed. Wonderful views and plenty of outdoor seating for socializing. Our host was easily available by text if we needed. Really a wonderful place to take in Godâs Handy Work.
The scenery was beautiful! The beds where amazing. The outdoor seating area is where we all wanted to stay when we werenât lounging in the river. We had to message the owner about a question and she text right back. The ride to and from the house was a bit of a doozy. Take your time. 2 from our group go car sick coming down the road from the house. Cell service was a little spotty. Other than that everyone had the best most relaxing time. I highly recommended. We are hoping to come back next year.
What a beautiful home! We had a wonderful stay at this property. Our favorite thing was sitting out by the river. My husband was thrilled to catch several trout and we went tubing down the river. The pool table and screened in porch area were also great. There were lots of towels and washcloths provided, as well as some basic kitchen items. We had a wonderful time and were sorry to leave. A few notes for people planning to stay here, I know that the roads in the gated community may be normal for people living in the mountains, they were pretty intense for me. I don't think I would have been comfortable driving the steep inclines in my car, fortunately we were in my husband's 4 wheel drive truck. The TV on the downstairs level doesn't work, which wasn't a big deal for us, but since there isn't one in any of the bedrooms, may be a problem for some. Cell service and Wifi are spotty, so don't plan to bring work with you, just relax and disconnect. Lastly, a flashlight would be helpful for navigating the stairs down to the river at night. There are some solar lights, but they don't all work. We hope to come back to this amazing property again!
Our family had an amazing week at this home! The layout was perfect and the furnishings beautiful. The lawn was a great gathering space to play soccer or enjoy s'mores at the fire pit. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets were enjoyed from the open air porch and screened patio. The stars at night were amazing. The master bed was extremely comfortable and the master bath huge and decadent. The whole family loved the pool table and movie style seating on the lower level. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals, which we did every night. The owners of the property could not have been nicer! They answered all questions and offered suggestions for the area.
The only negatives which have nothing to do with the owners are: the drive in is a little hard if you do not have four wheel drive. Our weighed down minivan had a tough time. The other thing is that we did not get to use the river as we would have liked. The generator was not on a schedule and it was hard to figure out the unpredictability of the River. The low water level due to the local drought made it very hard to kayak.
If you are looking for R&R in a beautiful home this is the place for you. There are numerous activities in the area. Each day we tried a new one! We will be back!
Unplug and enjoy the sites, sounds (or lack of), and atmosphere of this home right on the river. Fishing was great! Ease of access to the water was a dream! Huge backyard that is flat for my daughter to run around. Spent most of the time either fishing or relaxing by a fire on the screened in porch. If you are looking for seclusion this is the place. Slow down and simply soak in all of Mother Nature.
The house and property was very clean and well furnished. My family and I enjoyed our stay here and plan on returning. It was a very relaxing weekend getaway.
Our family fell in love with this beautiful setting. You may see the reference to PO3 on the property. My husband and I have 1 son and as we moved with the military I always said we moved as a Pack Of Three. We also come to the property for the relaxation and seclusion 8-10 times a year. We hope you enjoy making memories here as much as we do.
