Quiet 3-bedroom house in Southwest Harbor, perfect for families with pets!
Located in Southwest Harbor, this welcoming house with a large private yard is a dream. With 3 bedrooms including 2 with queen beds and 1 with twin beds, guests will find the space soothing and serene. The house also features an open floor plan with fully equipped kitchen and dining for 8, as well as a cozy living room with a sofa bed for additional guests. The property is located just 1.5 miles from the center of town and only 15 miles to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Thereâs also plenty of room for multiple vehicles and to park/turn around RVs and trailers.
Excellent location to access the main areas of Acadia and especially on Southwest Harbor side. The house was a little tricky to find via GPS but instructions to look for Gotts market were helpful. Several rooms have air conditioners, which can be helpful as middle of summer can be warm. Very comfortably furnished!
Beautiful home in a peaceful location a bit back in the woods away from the main road. Daily visit from a local doe and my daughter even saw a fox. Everything was cozy and comfortable. Easy check-in and the home has everything you would need. Bedrooms were comfortable and shower water pressure and heat was great. Strong WiFi signal. And communication with the owner was always quick and easy. Highly recommend!
The house is completely secluded, quite a distance from the road but very close to a gas station and a store, which made it an ideal location for us.The house is very well maintained with all amenities and well stocked. The owner was very responsive and helpful. She would reply within 5 minutes of a message. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend.
The house was tucked away off the road in a large opening surrounded by trees. A few deer would visit daily. There were 4 adults in our party. It was nice to relax in the morning having coffee and siting on the outside deck. There are a couple lobster pounds nearby that are excellent. The town of Bar Harbor is about a 30-minute drive. We would stay there again.
I'm from northern Maine and grew up in the hospitality industry so I want to do everything possible to make your stay with us enjoyable! This home is where my husband and I raised our family and now we've opened it up for you and your family and friends to enjoy the area we love to call home. Boating, hiking in Acadia National Park and visiting the local beaches are some of our favorite things to do around here, not to mention stopping into one of the many local restaurants for a delicious meal!
We are located in a quiet neighborhood on the edge of Southwest Harbor but yet still close enough that the attractions in town are only a couple minutes drive.
Our home is set in a large private yard away from the road with plenty of room for outdoor activities. Keep your eyes open, there always some sort of wildlife wandering through but please be sure not to feed any of them!
