The Base Camp Chalet is a large, ski-in/ski-out, 2 bedroom/2 bath, corner condo that offers the best of Granby Ranch any time of the year! Our lovely home is in an ideal location steps from the base lodge, which allows for quick and easy access to the ski lifts at Granby Ranch, hiking and biking trails, and world class golfing and fishing. Just head downstairs and out the back door to begin your ski or bike adventures!
Located within the Base Camp One condo building, The Base Camp Chalet has so much to offer. This spacious 1,100 square foot home is the largest 2 bedroom, 2 full bath floor plan in the building and has everything you need for a comfortable stay (updated finishes, tasteful furniture, and modern electronics). Perfect for families, this property can sleep up to 6 adults and children.
Parking is a breeze with the heated underground garage. You can arrive at Granby Ranch, park your car, unload your bags on a luggage cart and take the elevator up to the unit. No bundling up and trudging through the ice and snow to unload for your vacation.
The condo includes a gas fireplace, spacious dining area, fully-equipped kitchen and large open concept living area that provides ample room for your group to lounge. Itâs warm, upgraded finishes and cozy furnishings provide a creative, homey touch to this mountain getaway. A balcony overlooking the pool provides space to fire up the grill or relax and enjoy the incredible view.
After a long day on the slopes, you will find convenient storage for your gear with a dedicated storage locker available for your use on the main level of the complex. Once inside, youâll be ready to relax and enjoy your favorite show on one of the 2 TVs in the main living area and master bedroom.
The kitchen has all you will need for preparing meals including full size appliances and an outdoor grill. Included in the kitchen are supplies for cooking and baking, including utensils and knives. Dishes and glassware, as well as a crock pot, toaster, blender, hand mixer and electric griddle are also in this fully stocked kitchen. We also have both a k-cup machine and a regular coffee maker.
Sleeping arrangements:
- Master Suite (sleeps 2): features a king size bed, pack n play, connected bathroom, TV and closet
- 2nd bedroom (sleeps up to 4): 2 full bunk beds and a twin size trundle
- There is also a full size sleeper sofa in living area
- This home has 2 full bathrooms, both include a tub and shower
OCCUPANCY: Due to HOA restrictions, the maximum number of guests who can stay at this unit is 6.
Guests will have access to everything that our home has to offer! Upgraded finishes, cozy furnishings, towels and linens. Parking for one vehicle is available in the heated garage below the complex. A storage locker for ski or and golf equipment is available for your use in the locker room on the first level. The kitchen, all living & sleeping areas, balcony and grill are available for your full use.
Granby Ranch has recently changed their policy for guest use of the community pool and community trails. Here are the details:
Pool: If you would like to use the community pool or hot tub, you will need to purchase a daily guest pass at the pool for $15 (per person, per day). Children 8 and under are free. For a pass to be issued you must provide proof that you are staying in this home. The welcome email or confirmation email, showing the address, should suffice.
Trails: Granby Ranch is a little different from other ski resorts that are located on federal land. Because Granby Ranch trails are primarily on private land, all guests riding or hiking on either cross country trails or our lift-accessed downhill network must possess a valid pass or ticket product. Guests must also sign a waiver. Rates and tickets are available on the Granby Ranch website. One exception to this requirement is the Granby-to-Fraser trail, which does not require a pass or waiver.
We love the convenience and location of Basecamp One. No matter the season, this location has it all. You are steps away from the lifts of Ski Granby Ranch in the winter for skiing and mountain biking in the summer. We love the morning light that the many windows bring in, and the unbeatable views of the Never Summer range, and Rocky Mountain National Park peaks from the deck.
